CHAPTER VII Ancient Ruins

Yuno this time went alone by renting a horse carriage. He paid about 500 Gold only to return to the City of Ephraim. It took 3 days to get back to Ephraim.

Some of his horse-drawn carriage had stopped due to the ambush of Bandits and Monsters. But with Yuno's current strength, they were not an obstacle at all. Then within 3 days, Yuno had reached the city of Ephraim and was welcomed by the citizens.

"Oh! Look, Master Hero has returned!"

"Hand Master! How are you?"

"Master Hero, what about some rabbit satay?"

Yuno simply replied to all of that with a smile. Although at this moment, his feelings were mixed. Yuno decided to go to the City Hall to take the Request there.

"I understand! I'm leaving now, so can you please take care of the permission?" reply Yuno.

"Good! Leave it to me!" sahut Mia with great enthusiasm.

"It should be around here" said Yuno who was still searching for the location where the Ancient Ruins were.

After taking care of the exploration permit, Yuno immediately went into the Southern Forest. Sometimes he met the Gray Wolf, but Yuno did not attack him at all. Even some of them tried to approach him, even though they did not attack Yuno at all.

Then being fed up of not finding his place, Yuno asked one of the Wolves to come closer. Only with a Golden Horn Deer meat, Yuno got a ride as well as a guide who took her to the Ancient Ruins were.

"Thank you, this is for your other friends, okay?!" said Yuno stroked Gray Wolf's head and gave him a large cloth bag.

"Woof!" the Gray Wolf went straight back into the forest.

"Riding a wolf? You don't seem like a regular player, do you?" call a man in the middle along with many other players.

"Sorry, but I don't have any needs with you guys" Yuno replied ignoring the man.

"Ups! I'm sorry, but you can't pass before you pay the entrance tax!" the man brandished his sword to block Yuno.

"You never get tired of making trouble?" yuno said sighing.

"So how? Are you paying for it or not?!" ask the man.

"I heard that it will be in PK when I get here. But who would have thought that even they did it again," Yuno thought.

"If I answer no. What do you want?" challenge Yuno.

"Then, die!!" the man swung his sword.

But Yuno immediately lowered her head and placed her right hand on the man's stomach. Before releasing Firebolt and making it crash far back.

"If you don't want to be the same fate as him, go ahead and face me!" yuno seriously said.

"Curtain! Don't think we'll hold back! Attack!!" the orders of the man that Firebolt just hit.

Several witches immediately chanted their spells, archers aiming at him, while melee fighters charged at him from all directions.

Basically, Yuno was being squeezed. But with his composure, Yuno breathed in and began to focus on the fight before her.

"Moon Spear Technique, Dancing in the Moonlight!!"

"Damn it! What the fuck is this!"

"Not only is he strong, but he is also very good at playing his spear!"

"You archers! Shoot again quickly!!"

"Impossible! Our locking skill is still Cooldown!"

In just one breath, Yuno made a 360° spin and created an after image of the Full Moon circling itself rapidly. Making all the surrounding Players split into two and managed to give terror to the remaining Players.

"Hiii!! I-I don't want to die here!!"

"Ryuzen! You liar! You said we could make a lot of money this way!!"

"Damn it! If you know how to get slaughtered like this, I'd rather die by the old altar over there!!"

"Hey! Where you guys are going! You are useless!" the man named Ryuzen.

"Really! Witches, you can already let go now!!" ryuzen's orders are remembered by the witches.

"Hell's Flare!!"

Swooshes! Burn it!

A huge fire was immediately released by many witches towards Yuno. Burned the area where Yuno stood. Ryuzen who witnessed that laughed in satisfaction, while cursing at Yuno.

"Haha! I'm sure you'll die this time!" as Ryuzen laughed with satisfaction.

"You know, being overconfident is not a good thing" said Yuno who had been right behind him..

"W-What?! How's ka-"

Not finishing his sentence yet, Yuno slashed at Ryuzen's back. He threw it forward near the fire that still burned the area.

"If you don't want to die, go!" threaten Yuno against the witches.

After receiving the threat, they fear instead of playing and leave Ryuzen there with Yuno. Realizing she was left with a nightmare, Ryuzen asks for mercy.

"You know? You are very lucky to fight with me rather than being hunted by Veterans Player," Yuno explained.

Not receiving any reply, Yuno lifted Ryuzen's body and pushed him into the still burning fire. Made him burn to death by the big fire there.

"If left unchecked, this fire might be able to propagate into the forest," Yuno murmured.

Yuno manipulates the fire and tries to shut it down. He had to gulp down the MP Potion to restore the lost MP.

Then after fighting for so long, the fire was extinguished and left Ryuzen's Drop Item there in the form of a sword and 3,000 more Gold.

Yuno took the Gold and ignored the sword. Before going to find the place where the Altar referred to by another Player is located.
