CHAPTER III Old Friend

The city of Ephraim has four entrances, namely West, North, East, and South. The South and East were the first doors to be opened. In the south, there is a village called Er'lokka, where the Horned Rabbits disturb the village. At the end of Er'lokka village, there is an entrance to the Southern Forest filled with Gray Wolves inside.

While in the East, there is a village called Krion where the Wild Pigs roam and ruffle the plantations of residents. At the end of the village of Krion, there is the Eastern Forest inhabited by the Goblin, where Yuno and Dahlia are heading.

The North and West Doors opened after the Minor Update where the Ancient Magic - Rune was introduced. In the Northern Territory, there is a village called Ulenka, which is the link between Ethos City and Kwali City. This village is not too disturbed by Slime who is a resident of the surrounding area. But this was used by the Bandits, so the power of Efraim City was mostly placed on the village of Ulenka.

Finally, in the Western Region there is a village that has the Lake as a place where their daily needs are met. The Lakera village, where most of the inhabitants do fish farming in Lake Lakera. In addition, there is a cave that is in demand by the miners there. The cave is inhabited by Cave Bats, Big Rats, and Golems.

Back to Yuno and Dahlia who had arrived near the Eastern Forest. They rested for a while after hunting some Wild Pigs on the way. However, since the Request deadline was in the afternoon, Yuno and Dahlia immediately completed the 30-minute break.

"Then, let's continue to the Forest," Yuno asked.

Dahlia nodded and got up from her seat. Before the end, the two of them entered the forest to hunt Goblins. Since being together with Dahlia, finding a game monster has become easy. Only by using the seeker magic obtained by Dahlia did they be able to quickly find the target.

"There's a Goblin village if we go straight west" Dahlia said.

"Didn't I say that? So you wanna go and check it out?" reply Dahlia.

"As usual, you are always ambiguous, yes" Yuno said before approaching Silver and Daisy.

"You found this place too?" ask Yuno.

Daisy twists her body and swings a dagger hanging on her back waist, before being stopped by Yuno's reflexive hand-capture. Realizing that it is not a threat, Daisy pulls back her hand and dagger from Yuno.

"Can't you surprise us like that, Yuno?" said Silver.

"Sorry, it's just that I was a little curious earlier," Yuno replied.

"But isn't this dangerous? If left like this, there's a chance they'll be more and more ready for invasion right?" yuno continued.

Silver and Daisy nodded in agreement with Yuno's words. Dahlia then came shortly after, making the four of them decide to form a Party in order to destroy the Goblin village before them at this time.

"Then, let's follow the plan" Silver said.

"As usual, you're pretty quick to respond?" reply Yuno.

"Hehe! Don't underestimate the speed of response I have, Master!" sahut Silver's.

"I know you guys are friends in other games, but can we just focus on this first?" said Daisy.

Silver could not reply to the words, whereas Yuno could only laugh blandly hear them. That's right, it wasn't just Shiina who was his Legion's first friend. But Silver is also one of them. This was why Yuno and Silver were so quick to get along, even though they rarely met in RYLO.

The Goblins who saw the signs of the enemy were immediately furious and intended to report this. But, before one of them reached the entrance, an arrow killed them from afar.

"Don't worry, don't think! If there's a problem, they'll call us, won't they?" answer Dahlia.

Dahlia releases the fireball towards the back of Daisy. Making a Goblin die is burned by the fire magic it releases.

"It would be better if you pay attention around as well!" it was clearly Dahlia who started chanting her mantra.

On Yuno and Silver's side, they unhesitatingly finished off the Goblins that had started to come attacking them. But easily, they all killed the Goblins without having to use their Arts. Until a Goblin who is an Elder Goblin comes to them.

"Come! Goblin Elder!" yuno Sweat.

"Kekeke, do you think you can run after doing all this?! Don't hope!!" the Umpat Goblin Elder who was provoked Yuno.

Yuno and Silver had a little trouble avoiding the magic released by the Goblin Elder. Even a few times, they had to be hit by such attacks. Yuno who was as a Semi Tank immediately tried to attract the attention of the Goblin Elder by provoking him.

Dozens of fireballs were released and aimed only at Yuno, ignored by Silver who was releasing the girls held captive by the Goblins. While Yuno evades the dozens of fireballs, Daisy from afar tries to aim for the few Goblins left around her and Dahlia.

Dahlia ignored the grievance and remained focused on her magic. At the same time, Silver had released all the prisoners. There are some of them who are pregnant. It was hard to say, but he had to leave them. The main reason is quite easy, the pregnant women will soon die after giving birth to Goblin children.

"Yuno! I've released all the prisoners!" silver said via Party Voice.

Yuno smiled and stopped avoiding the dozens of fireballs. He mounted the horses and started running towards the Goblin Elder who was focused on chanting incantations.

"I'm sorry, I won't let that magic get active! The Moon Spear Technique, Blasphemy the Stars!!" yuno exclaimed, releasing seven consecutive stabs towards the Goblin Elder.

"Fuck up!" furious Goblin Elder.

"I hope you don't forget me!" greeting Silver who had been behind the Goblin Elder.

"Wind Sword Technique, Spring Wind Lightning!!"

Silver swung his sword and sent the Goblin Elder crashing far enough away, but had just woken up from where he had fallen. Yuno was already in the air and twisted her spear before dropping down by smashing the spear into the ground.

"Moon Spear Technique, Fallen Moon Lacing!!"

The ground trembled, making the Goblin Elder receive a headache. Unwilling to waste time, Silver immediately darted forward and prepared to unleash a streak of attacks.

"Wind Sword Technique, Storm Shreds the Earth!!"

Unceasingly, Silver swung his sword and created an afterimage that slowly formed a storm and carried the Elder Goblin into the air. Yuno immediately asks Dahlia to release her magic, which will probably burn the entire village down later.

Dahlia unleashed a gigantic fire spear that struck the Goblin Elder and exploded, simultaneously burning herself in the air. The sound of the explosion echoed loud enough to the village of Krion, causing NPCs and players to panic about the incident, including Shiina who was playing with her siblings.
