Ch. 95 - The Tenth Seal

"It doesn't make sense. Indeed how?"

There were still a few times when Xue Zhan doubted him while asking him how he had come back to life. The Devil of Sin put aside his emotions and looked at the two chains lying not far beside Xue Zhan.

"You know about the Twelve Seals in you?"

Kang Jian had once said that so Xue Zhan knew a little.

"The seal that locks the sin in me so as not to rise up and destroy man?"

"Shallow answer" grumbled the cynical Devil of Sin. "Twelve Seals is a spell your Mother instilled shortly before you were born, not to lock me up, but to separate every part of my body and strength. It keeps me locked and immobile, if one day the seal breaks it's not because I did it. But you set me free yourself."

Xue Zhan who was new to the matter immediately asked, "So the twelve parts of your body are locked?"

"really. If only one seal there might be many ways to release it. But he instead separated into twelve powerful seals that locked away every organ of my body and made me completely unable to resist."

"But what do you mean you can only be free if I let you go?"

The Devil Sin slightly looked down at Xue Zhan who was only as small as an ant beneath him.

"This seal will only come off when you want power. When you want that I can give you everything. The hatred in you will make you thirst for power. Other impulses such as emotion, ambition, anger and sadness can also make this seal erode and eventually break."

A moment when Xue Zhan saw those two seal spells that had already been unleashed.

"So which two seal spells have been removed is which part of your body?"

Then the demon showed its true form. The bright light helped Xue Zhan to take a clearer look at the silhouette that had been inviting him to speak. He was slightly goosebumps, the demon started to look like a living creature even though it had not yet reached a quarter.

The Devil of Sin is just a series of bones that have eyes, the ability to hear, smell, feel. His body still could not be said to be perfect but he already possessed such a great amount of strength, Xue Zhan was increasingly feeling a great threat if this Devil rose up completely within him.

"With these two powers, the Six Senses and Bones I am able to help you to regrow the part of your body that is now broken, just as you were born. His eyes, ears, mouth, and all sense abilities were even more formidable than before. Ten of your broken bones will be replaced with bones as hard as iron, including your other bones that are also broken."

The Devil of Sin added with a frightening wide grin, "But that alone cannot save you. I've said before other than your eyes and bones, some of your internal organs have been destroyed malfunctioning, falling from the abyss hundreds of meters high, do you think you'll survive? Only twenty percent of your body is intact. The rest is ruined." The Devil of Sin bluntly.

Meanwhile Xue Zhan started to shake his head, "I can't ..."

"Your body."

Xue Zhan had already guessed and changed his mind.

"I don't agree."

"But I will only take your body on one condition, which is when the twelve seals and my body are perfect and you no longer want life. Once that happens, I'll take over your body."

Xue Zhan was speechless. Why are the terms so simple?

But when remembering the moments where he was no longer interested in living it felt like taking this decision was quite heavy. Circumstances could break him repeatedly, Xue Zhan could not guarantee that.

"But ..." He growls, grudges and heartaches within him will never be resolved. His teachers, his friends and family. He can't just leave all that behind. Then who was the figure that was healing his body that had fallen within the Gorge of Regret? Isn't the Pit of Regret the most dangerous place that humans wouldn't be able to live in?

He was really curious and did not think twice about answering.

"I agree."

Whether this is a right or wrong decision, either, but as long as he had goals and dreams Xue Zhan would never lose the will to stay alive and he promised himself never to lose faith.

"What's that?" asked Xue Zhan.

Xue Zhan raised his face and noticed the gigantic chain that bound the entire body of the Sin Demon, clearly visible at each end of the chain was a spell paper affixed to the demon's body and had blood-red numbers and writing.

His eyes stared intensely at the tenth seal spell paper and read it.

"Meats?"

The Devil of Sin declares, "True, flesh."

"To repair damaged or destroyed parts of your internal organs. Heart, intestines, lungs and others."

"What am I supposed to do?" The Devil of Sin grinned, he knew Xue Zhan was indeed smart enough and immediately gave the question he wanted to hear.

"Take off the tenth seal from my body. That way I can heal your internal organs."
