Ch. 204 - Return of the Old Enemy

He flapped his opponent's body so that he could lie on his back, next to his feet moving about to remove the mask that covered the young man's face.

"Let's see which little bastard can get me into trouble, hm?" His tone was like mocking because it was so satisfied to see the enemy under his feet.

A thin wind shot out and hit his cheek which started dripping blood.

He opened his eyes wide. It felt like such a huge change in strength, his opponent's body was still locked as before and he had made sure that there would not be a single move that broke his illusionary stance.

However it did not seem to apply to the power that the young man possessed.

His body was still in the same place but the difference was now that a blood-red, dense force engulfed his entire body. The woman retreated while wiping her cheeks, unable to do anything but see how the power grew and went berserk.

"What's wrong with her?" muttering the woman after a few seconds of noticing, feeling that something was amiss she immediately took a step back.

Instantly a huge blow occurred and immediately hunted his head down,

Xue Zhan darted through the air with a far different strength.

"The devil-power!?" the woman's screams as she bounced far away, seeing the young man chasing after her grew even faster. He moved the water force from underground which was now sticking up and attacking the young man from below.

The stream of water coiled up and formed an attack from underground, ready to attack the young man with an unexpected shock.

The opponent saw quickly that this new attack was coming from below. The ground under his feet trembled and fragments of stones began to lift up into the air. In an instant, a fierce stream of water shot out at high speed, encompassing the young man in a deadly attack. In an instant, it leapt high into the air, dodging the dangerous attacks of water.

The waterbending woman was surprised to see that the young man was able to dodge his attack. His worries grew even more as the young man again hurtled towards him at an ever increasing speed

The waterbending woman deftly created giant water bracelets that swirled over the air. With an agile movement, the water bracelets began to attack Xue Zhan in succession. Each water bracelet shot out at a shocking speed, forming a deadly attack. They spun nimbly and continued to hit Xue Zhan from various directions. The sound of whistling and water lashing was heard accompanying the attack.

Xue Zhan jumped up, moved nimbly, and used his sword to defend himself. Each water bracelet attack he managed to avoid with a quick and agile movement.

The waterbender woman hasn't stopped. He continued to control those water bracelets, attacking Xue Zhan nonstop. The water bracelets were rotating at an ever increasing speed, creating a pressure that was squeezing Xue Zhan. But still all attacks can be avoided.

All of the attacks that the woman had fired were ignored, Xue Zhan darted even faster and after that the blows again occurred. This time it really hit the controller of the illusion until he went into the hole caused by the blow. Some of her bones sounded like broken, the woman tried to stand up but in the end her body refused to move and again lay helpless.

A sword blade pointed at his face, his gaze covered by the blood flowing past his eyelids. But with just that power, the woman already knew the enemy would end her life soon.

"Haha ... I realized too late. Looking at the moves and techniques you used, I thought you were the Sacred Sword Saint. My guess missed." He choked on the blood that was clumping inside his own throat. "You're just a half-demon. But I didn't think in the end I lost this sad. Know from the beginning I won't interfere in this business."

Xue Zhan was a little astonished after reading his opponent's state and immediately made a sound. "Only some part of your bone is broken. In this situation even if you can't win you can still escape. Your legs and wrists can still be used."

"You want to let me go?" He laughed until his chest went up and down. Keep staring at the sky without a destination.

"Where are you going to escape to? My only home is here. I never hesitated to sacrifice everything for the Red Taring."

"You were blinded by them."

"Good people like you don't deserve to set where I should swear allegiance."

"I found a bad man who would accept me without seeing what I had done wrong. They are good people to me."

Xue Zhan approached when he saw the woman pull out a dagger from under her robe and instantly cut off her tongue. Xue Zhan's body froze for a few seconds. Not only did she get there, the woman stabbed into her own heart and died with an expanding smile on both corners of her lips.

When Xue Zhan took a closer look the woman had actually died. He anticipated that there would be people who would resurrect him and seek information about the Red Fangs by cutting off his tongue and instantly killing himself knowing that Xue Zhan wanted information from him.

In the group of criminals, loyalty and devotion of subordinates to their master is something that is highly respected. They live by the principle that the success of their group depends on their loyalty to their leader. The woman did not hesitate to sacrifice her own life in order to protect the secret of the Red Taring.

It happened frequently and also Xue Zhan had seen it several times. In their lives filled with crime and fighting, criminal gangs often place great trust in their leaders. They uphold a code of conduct that requires them to be faithful to the point of sacrifice. When faced with a situation where extremely valuable information such as the Red Taring might be revealed, loyal members of the criminal group would not hesitate to protect the secret with their own lives.

Actions such as cutting off their own tongue and ending life quickly are tangible proof of their unwavering loyalty. They consider it a worthy sacrifice in order to protect their master and preserve the identity of the criminal group.

One of them was this woman, she was completely loyal to Red Taring. Xue Zhan clenched his hands tightly.

"How many people like you are willing to sacrifice everything for their sake? They don't care about you at all. They only care about your power and use you as a tool. Ck." He clicked his tongue while exhaling heavily.

Before long Xue Zhan looked at his own hands, he channeled the power that had now been mixed with deep red.

The woman had said it as demonic power. Xue Zhan already knew about it.

This was where it all started, the power was slowly eating away at his body and fusing together his blood. Xue Zhan had no way of stopping him, he had to always use force. But the more he used it, the greater the demonic power that appeared.

The Devil of Sin flashed in his shadow. He wants a resurrection. Meanwhile in front of his eyes the Red Taring would create a weapon that destroyed all of the Empire. The enemy is not only outside, but within himself.

His gaze returned to the lifelessly lying corpse. Once again grateful. He had no luck like being born into a whole family, making many friends and living a peaceful life. But at least he met a kind person who accepted him sincerely. Xiang Yi Bai, Kang Jian, Jiazhen Yan.

It's just that now he has to be separated from all of them. Xue Zhan had to finish his task.

In a slow galloping step towards the waterfall, a faint sound of wind was heard following his steps.

Xue Zhan stopped right in front of the waterfall. The waterfall appears towering in the middle of the wilderness, becoming the entrance into the old headquarters of the Red Taring. The swiftness of the waterfall creates a bang that echoes around it, filling the air with jets of water mist everywhere. The waterfall looks like a curtain of water down a steep cliff, inside which there is an entrance that becomes the way into the old headquarters of Red Taring.

one more step he could directly enter the Red Taring headquarters. But he was forced to hold it because of something disturbing. He heard her talking, and,

"Finally we meet again" Xue Zhan said.

Xue Zhan turned around, and right as he expected, someone was standing there holding the same weapon as he had seen in the Golden Dragon college.

The giggling sound of the woman was so intense. He had been waiting with an excited heart for the young man's presence and had never expected him to actually come to the place where he was.

"You must miss me so much, huh? To the point of chasing me here?!"

Chao Mi widened her eyes while grinning widely. His long white hair moved following the wind that swirled around him. The white tattoos on some parts of his body shone brightly.

A moment Xue Zhan laughed, "Pursuing you for what? I'm not interested in that rotten fan."

It was actually just a coincidence to be reunited with the Fifth Light. Counted on the third time they had met and this time Xue Zhan would not let go. And Chao Mi as well.

"I still remember those beautiful eyes ... Eyes that are hard to guess. You're so stubborn and hard to persuade even if you're just a snot kid. I admit your stance, demon boy." Chao Mi pulled her fan up. His clothes were fluttering. "This time I won't hesitate to kill you. It's your body that I'm gonna drag in front of the Chairman."

"Stop calling me boy, witch. I can't believe a magician like you still has disciples. Didn't you poison him with your goddamn cooking, did you?"

The power of light seemed to vibrate the air for five seconds. Xue Zhan saw the seriousness in Chao Mi's eyes, he was already preparing to attack her in full force. Xue Zhan was confident that the woman would look for any way to kill him.

Unfortunately, he had also planned to kill the woman at any cost.

"After you, I will also finish off your students."

Chao Mi widened her eyes. "are you crazy?" He held his breath for a few seconds.

"She said one day we will fight again. When that comes, I'll kill him with my sword."

Chao Mi tightened her grip on the weapon. "I won't let you step over my body."
