Xue Zhan was beginning to lose consciousness. Just a faint growling sound was heard, that person sounded in pain as well as despair facing the monster within himself.
Silence struck yet slowly Xue Zhan could feel the cold sword eyes touching the skin of his neck. Then the next second, he could not hear or feel anything anymore.
In Xue Zhan's subconscious, the void atmosphere was boundless. The darkness was endless, expanding without any clear boundaries. Darkness enveloped all corners, absorbing light and causing everything to look hazy and faint.
Inside that infinite darkness, there was a gigantic demon that was in the shape of a skeletal bone. His height reached hundreds of meters, looming haughtily before Xue Zhan who was struggling to survive.
The demonic shadow enveloped the endless void space, giving a frightening and pressing impression.
The Devil of Sin spoke in a sad and pitiful voice. "You're too naive, Xue Zhan. You were killed by the hands of your own best friend, even though you yourself were a mixture of demons. You're as naive as that stupid human being, really disappointing. It's only fitting that Old Monster calls you a fool. Thick-witted. Idiot."
"Thank you for spelling them out one by one but this is none of your business."
Xue Zhan replied annoyed despite knowing his current body was dying and severely injured. "I don't care. He was my friend. There's not a price enough to break this friendship, even if he kills me himself."
"Hahahaha you remind me of someone ..."
His voice was blaring in a horrible way.
Devil Sin began to tell about a demonic woman who had a trait that was almost similar to Xue Zhan. The woman has the ability to feel almost the same feelings as a human. Although he came from the demon nation, he showed a side of affection and care that is rarely owned by most of his fellow demons.
The Devil of Sin continued his story in a voice filled with turmoil. "That woman is an exception between us. He was born with a different soul. Despite having demonic blood flowing within him, he always felt a sense of confusion and opposition. He doesn't want to live in darkness and cruelty like his fellow demons."
Xue Zhan was just silent, not fully understanding why the Demon of Sin had suddenly told him about the demonic woman. And the true nature of that demon, whether good or bad are both vague.
The Devil of Sin explained that the war this time would not be easy and Xue Zhan would definitely face off against an extremely powerful enemy. He offered her strength, whenever Xue Zhan wanted it. It made Xue Zhan even more worried over what was happening.
Xue Zhan looked at the Devil of Sin with uncertainty emanating from his eyes. The offer was all he needed, yet he also felt doubtful about the consequences. Xue Zhan had learned from experience that taking shortcuts or using demonic-powers would not bring true good. And he himself did not fully believe in that rotten demon.
"Heh, you're trying to fool me like you already have. Where do I believe."
The Devil of Sin looked at the doubts surrounding Xue Zhan. With a short laugh he said, "I know you're worried, Xue Zhan. But know, the power I offer is the only way to deal with a powerful enemy you don't even know if your own strength is enough to stop them."
Xue Zhan took a deep breath. He pondered the words of the Devil of Sin carefully. Indeed, in the struggle against a powerful enemy, the power of the devil can give an advantage, but what does it mean if it only obscures the conscience and makes itself similar to its enemy?
On the one hand, the light power of the Red Tarynx would not be able to deal with ordinary power. He began to doubt and hesitated to make a decision.
Xue Zhan let the silence fill in their subconscious. He pondered the words of the Devil of Sin carefully, considering the consequences and the true meaning of each choice he faced. Amongst the darkness, there was a vibration of resistance growing within him.
After a moment that felt very long, Xue Zhan finally raised his head steadily. His gaze sharply looked at the Devil of Sin. "I chose this path myself. I will fight my enemies with the power within myself. Power that does not come from darkness, but from goodness and the desire to protect those I love."

"This is really him ... What happened to her?"
"He's still breathing?"
"Do something!"
"I don't know! He was not breathing at all and his heart was beating so weak!"
A commotion broke out between the two people, a few moments later one of them took out a medicine tied up with a golden braid and a black bottle gleaming. His hands were cold as he tried to unscrew the bottle.
It was the medicine of the Wind Goddess, the medicine made by Li Jia Xing to save someone who was in a dying state. But there are only two possibilities that may occur when drinking the bottle.
Only twenty percent of the people survived. The rest of his life was lost. But that figure alone was already large enough to heal people with heavy injuries. Li Jia Xing gave the medicine right on the day Xiao Rong was raised to his right hand.
The blood mixed with medicine coalesced in his mouth, Xiao Rong helped him by slightly raising Xue Zhan's head for the medicine to enter his body.
An hour before they found him lying in the middle of this Desert, a fierce fight ensued and left him on the verge of death. Fenghuang could see the terrifying battle marks and the corpse of a person from Light had been lying lifeless in a different place.
Yet even though Xue Zhan was calming the fight, why was he critical as well?
Xiao Rong was convinced that there was one more culprit involved. However what made him strange was why that person let Xue Zhan go without killing him. For Red Taring class enemies, they would not let the bodies of their enemies remain intact. Instead they finish it to the skin. It happened often and it made him think hard in between the complexities that filled his mind.
The body started to cool, Xue Zhan lost consciousness and he was completely unconscious.
The two looked at each other for a moment. "Even though I was dying, I kept my promise. Don't forget to keep your promise. You know we come to this place until it's almost caged a few times. My dress was torn and my wings were hurt, too." Fenghuang. Making Xiao Rong remember their previous agreement before arriving in this desert.

"Run, hurry!!! Aaa no, my dress!" The girl in the red dress was galloping from the pursuit of the imperial warrior Feng and the top level warriors who were deliberately sent for the mission of catching fugitives that are their own.
Hundreds of arrows were flown towards them. Fenghuang fell down several times because of her dress stuck in the roots of trees and wood. There was a sound of cursing and scolding from his mouth. The girl fell into a tumble with the eel hitting the ground first.
"Cialaaan! Help me!" Fenghuang. His friend outwitted the opponent by throwing dozens of secret weapons, some died on the spot with iron discs piercing the heart. Fenghuang got up and caught up with him hurriedly.
"You forgot to use your wings?" greet the young man next to him, he was wearing a bamboo caping and a matted gray robe. Makes it unrecognizable to anyone.
When Fenghuang turned into a Phoenix, one of the skilled archers fired a fiery arrow that burned his wings. He repeatedly recuperated, but the attacks cornered them.
After Fenghuang escaped from the dungeon, the Imperial soldiers began to flood the Empire to the far corners. They were repeatedly nearly caught.
Thanks to Xiao Rong's help, Fenghuang was able to escape the prison easily and unnoticed. In return Xiao Rong asked her to take him to someone she had been looking for for years.
Fenghuang herself actually did not know where that fool was right now, she only knew one thing that Xue Zhan was currently investigating Red Fangs. The only way to meet Xue Zhan was simply to follow the footsteps of the Red Fangs and meet him.
Fenghuang knew one thing about the Feng Empire, which was a spy expert named Qi Zhang who lived in Ying Bay.
And it was from there that they found out where Xue Zhan was.

The Diqiu Imperial Palace loomed grandly in the middle of the city. The splendid buildings were spread out with incomparable elegance, reflecting imperial splendor.
Well-organized streets and beautiful gardens add to the impression of peace. However, behind that beauty, felt a threat lurking in every corner.
The spies hid among the shadows, looking for gaps to lurk every movement. The imperial army was keeping a tight guard around.
Yin Jiao, the grandson of Emperor Ziran, stepped gracefully in the beautiful garden of the imperial palace. A sense of caution approached him from the past few times, as he began to notice some foreign servants who always seemed to observe him with unusual gazes. Today, as he walked alone among the dazzling array of flower trees, Yin Jiao's eyes suddenly caught a suspicious movement.
There was a figure of a servant standing behind the trees, hiding behind a thin mist that floated in the air. Yin Jiao tightened her fists, preparing herself to deal with any threats that might exist.
Quickly, he crossed the park, trying to catch the mysterious servant.
However, as if understanding his plan, the figure simply disappeared before Yin Jiao could grab onto it. Like lightning that flashed in the dark night, he evaporated in an instant without leaving a trace.
Yin Jiao was silent for a moment, trying to understand what had just happened. He felt like he was on a futile hunt, with a mysterious enemy constantly dodging him. A cool, flower-filled garden becomes a place filled with uncertainty and threats.
His heart was pounding, and he felt a dark force lurking from behind the magnificent palace walls. What are they looking for from him? Why do they keep following him? Yin Jiao felt compelled to seek answers to those questions, in order to maintain the security of herself and her beloved empire.
In the silence of the garden, the wind rippled gently, carrying the fragrance of flowers and secrets hidden behind the palace walls.
