ch. 49 is unexpected

" It seems like everything is ready."

Early in the morning Hao Tian packed up to immediately leave to return to continue his delayed journey earlier.

He decided to leave early in the morning and did not say goodbye to Xue Yun and the others because they were still not happy with the incident last night. He did not know what to say or how to express when faced with Xue Yun. So rather than ruin the atmosphere he then decided to leave immediately.

But he wrote a letter to Xue Muzhang and others to tell them that he had left first.

Before he left he first bought some food, especially meat, then he stored it in his room ring to be made stock on the trip later.

After everything was ready he started to get out of the inn and walked out of the city. Not long after he had been out of the flower city then he started running as usual.

A few hours later, he decided to rest for a while and started to drink a little food and water to relieve the hunger and thirst he felt at this time.

After he had breakfast he resumed his journey but he suddenly heard the sound of fighting not far from him. Not only that, there were sounds of animals and humans there that made him curious and decided to see what was going on.

There are dozens of people who are being attacked by dozens of demons. Of the dozens of people that were the weakest among them were at the intermediate level swordsmen stage and there were some at the expert swordsman stage as well as there was one person who was at the king swordsman stage while the demons in the high-level swordsmen and experts stage however there were three demons who were at the king swordsman stage.

Hao Tian quickly took out a knife from his s.p.a.ce ring and threw it in the direction that he had suspected the person's hiding place was.

The knife quickly slid but suddenly saw a sword slashing the knife to make the knife split in two.

" You?" Hao Tian was shocked and confused by what he saw now. He also wondered in his heart why this person could be here.

" As usual, you're always meddling in other people's problems." The man started to come out of his hiding place. It was a fat woman who was eating the meat in her hand. The woman had sea blue hair so it felt familiar to Hao Tian.

The woman was none other than Xue Yun, as knowledgeable as Hao Tian should have been today the group of Xue Yun went towards their sect. So this is what made Hao Tian shocked and confused as if he could not believe what was in front of him.

" Xue Yun? Why are you here?" Hao Tian was a little confused, but he still decided to look around and around Xue Yun to look for the whereabouts of Xue Yun's friends.

Because if his friends were here as well then it was likely that they would still go to their sect and accidentally pass through this place.

But after a while he looked around but no one was in sight.

" You don't have to look for them, they're not here."

It was seen that half of the soldiers had already started to die and their situation was starting to get desperate. This made Hao Tian immediately go and head towards that battle.

" Protect the princess!!" Shouted a man with a large body with a bloody sword. The man was at the 5-star swordsman stage which was the most high guard of his martial arts in their group. The man was named Guan Xing who was one of the generals of the song empire.

The group he escorted was the princess of the song empire named song hua and various other nobles who accidentally passed through this place and were intercepted by some demons

The longer they fight, the greater their differences also appear. One by one the soldiers died horribly due to exposure to stealth attacks.

When he was caught off guard, there was a demon who was watching the group of the princess secretly. The demon was a fire tiger that was on par with a king swordsman.

Guan Xing who saw that immediately ran towards the princess and shouted out loud.
