The Journey To The Brockleheart Sky

The Journey To The Brockleheart Sky
Chapter 5: The Punishment

The wind that blows hard does not decrease Marry's spirit to surround the yard of his house. Observe the goal of each corner of the plant around it.

"Star," his inner voice shouted to the beloved rabbit.

Marry, who had just returned from school, was confused by the state of the quiet house. Normally Star and Moon would wait for him at the front fence. He could only surround the house, watching what he could see.

Accidentally, Marry saw something in the side garden. A woman he knew was chewing something bloody.

"Gosh, is that Moon?" he thought when he saw the brown-and-white rabbit in his mother's lap.

Slowly, Marry approached Susan Smith. Touching and letting out a small voice that he was struggling to get out.

"Dee!"

"Maryl?" susan exclaimed in shock and immediately wiped the blood on her face and hands. "What are you doing?" he looked at Mary who was silent looking at Moon.

"Why do you eat Moon? Where's Star?" confused, Marry looked at his mother with sadness.

"Follow me!" Susan looked very angry, she dragged Mary into the house. Susan couldn't help herself, the canine teeth peeking out of her mouth were left to her.

"Marry you're a real bad boy! Didn't I tell you, when you get home, you need to get to your room!" Marry's eyes seemed to refute, his head shaking for sure. Marry was starting to get scared.

"Don't ask me why I ate it, the rabbit looked fresh. Do you know how long you've been holding on to thirst? Huh uh?" Marry started crying. Susan dragged him deep into the basement. Marry started to moan, his voice blurred and it sounded pitiful.

Herms awoke from his nap, hearing the commotion Herms rushed in search of the direction of the sound.

Taaaa!

Susan stood in front of the basement door, after closing the door she was shocked by Herms who was already standing before her.

"What happened Sue?"

"I'm punishing Marry!" emphatically.

"What else has he done?"

"Mary." Susan racked her brain. "That kid, he hit me!" he continued after a good reason.

"No way!" push Herms into the basement.

"Dear, I won't explain anything to you!" sergeant.

"Tell me what's going on?"

"I found Moon injured in the park and Marry thought I hurt the rabbit. Then he got angry and beat me up!" he stared straight in Herms' eyes.

"That blood?" Herms was silent, his eyes flashing once. I don't know what Susan did, Herms was silent. His mouth feels stiff.

"Honey," he called to touch Herms.

"Then what should I do, Sue? Marry's getting more and more worrying, "he said limply hugging Susan.

"That's because he's a teenager, his soul wants to be free, Herms!"

"I'm sorry Sue! But Jenny is different! He never let me down."

"You don't have to apologize, and don't praise Jenny too much, Herms...."

"What night of punishment can stop Marry? I'm sure he's innocent! I told you not to mess up if you don't want a night of punishment." Herms advises.

"If that's what you think, we'll do the night of punishment. That's better." Sue smiled in satisfaction, her desire understood Herms. Herms is a really good husband.

The blonde haired girl came to meet Susan with a furious rage, there was a firm line of vexation that appeared in her tinge of face.

"Mother!" annoyed screams.

"What's up, baby? Why are you yelling?"

"What's going on? I'm looking for Marry everywhere and why is he in the basement?" continued.

"He's going to serve a night of punishment!" the answer is to relax and do the activity beforehand.

"What's? How could? What has he done?"

"What do you mean, Ms ...?"

"Marry knows! He saw me drink the rabbit's blood."

"You drink blood? You always warned me to never touch blood other than Marry's, but what is this?" enragedly.

"Mother can't resist, the tenth full moon is still two weeks away. As for Marry, she hasn't been hurt at all, so mom can't take her blood!" answer excited.

"Mother, if the people at Okrey know we're vampires. We're finished!"

"Don't think about the no-no!"

"I'll see him!" continues go.

"For what?" hold Susan.

"To calm him down! He must be terrified," he replied, leaving.

"Oh, come. It's not the first time he's been locked up there!"

"I mean, for fear of seeing you drink blood." Jennifer pointed at Susan and left.

"Remember Jennifer! You must prepare him for the night of punishment!" his yell. "That kid, he's starting to look a lot like Herms. Ow! It sucks," Susan grumbled at her daughter's attitude.

Marry was still sitting in the basement, this place looked neat. Marry could only sit waiting in front of the mossy old door. In his mind was just, the blood and canine teeth he saw. Everything looks scary now.

"What will happen to me? Even Dad hasn't come to me, I'm hungry!" complains.

Some Rats started coming out from behind the objects in this underground passageway.

Marry was still in a small doorway, tightly locked. In that room there was another door. The rats began to come to Marry. Dodging, Marry tried to open the other side of the room.

Kreeek ....

The door was fragile and opened just like that, as Marry tried to enter she was startled by Agni disguised as a rat. Marry ran to her cat and entered the room with her.

"I've been punished a lot in this place, but since when is there a door here?" thought curious.

The room was pitch-green, plenty of moss and cobwebs everywhere. There were piles of books and crates neatly arranged inside, Marry closed the door and looked through the contents.

Marry's attention was tethered to a large box engraved with 'Brockleheart Sky' with a solid gold fringe. Marry opened it and found some things. Two medium-sized dark brown boxes, several pairs of beautiful clothes and a small dark blue box.

"Maryl?" The sound stopped him.

Marry stuffed the objects he found into the black box and lifted it in his arms. It looked heavy, but Marry looked fine. Marry took the box out of the mysterious room and went into the hallway.

"Marrietta!" the voice is getting closer.

"Hhh?" says slowly.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you scared?" he said he was upset and hugged Marry. "What's that?" he stopped when he saw the big box in Marry's hand.

Marry flanged doesn't understand. Jennifer ignores that and immediately takes Marry to her bedroom.

The day was getting late, on the other hand Herms was getting scared. What if the night of punishment would end horribly. It's the first time they've done a night of punishment, Herms fears a mistake will put his daughter in danger. But, something disturbed his mind, making him forget the things he feared.

"Do you want to cancel Herms?" susan brought a warm drink to the dining table where Herms sat.

"No Sue .. This is a punishment for Marry to make him more disciplined. As per the agreement, if once again he makes a mistake then this is the result!"

"I know you're a good father! But, Marry's out of the basement."

"Who got it out?"

"Jenny!" susan said withholding annoyance.
