Chapter 16: Jennifer The Key

The big box looked heavy. Susan and Dravis dropped it off in the woods. In the dark night, through a two-day journey to the forest outskirts of Okrey. They finally opened the casket cover and took out an unconscious stiff body.

That pale purple-red striped body looked pitiful. Jennifer now looks like an undead with Fereizing spells and Hippno's magic.

Dravis sat Jennifer in a haystack. His rough face suddenly made Susan sad. Which mother would have seen her daughter look like this, but her cries were held back by resentment and hatred.

"Give me Dravis' blood, we need to wake him up, to make it easier for me to remember Marry. Release the freeizing."

Dravis nodded and his left hand touched Jennifer's little face. Her big hands almost filled Jennifer's head, some spoken incantations made Jennifer's fingers and toes vibrate violently.

His groans were now beginning to sound, the gasping breaths were sounding painful to Susan. Scratched Susan's right hand, until black blood came out. The bloody hand was directed to Jennifer's dry lips, and the human-vampire blood was dripped.

After a short ritual, Susan clasped Jennifer's hand. The long hoofed fingers that had been vibrating slowly now stopped moving. It seemed to realize whose hand was holding it. Jennifer's breath slowly drifted.

"Jenny?" call Susan staring intently at the face of Jennifer who is still covered with Dravis' hands.

"You're okay, aren't you?"

Silent, only a chaotic groan began to sound from his mouth.

"Errhgh .. akhhfrr ...." Jennifer's voice sounded terrible.

"Mrs, you must hurry! If it's too long in this condition, he'll be a black vampire forever."

"Jenny, please give me the memory of Marry. Please let me catch him. You're my daughter, aren't you? Let go of Marry's memory, let's use it to find your sister."

Dravis took out a small box measuring 5x7 centimeters. Box called 'Memory Trigger'. Susan made Jennifer hold that thing. Tonight Marry's search will continue, Susan's convinced of that. Jennifer could be the key to the door of the woods of demand, just like what Black Shadow said.

"You met Marry, not as a vampire. But, as little Jennifer, you hold her hand and then hold her. Did you see him?" Susan began her hypnosis with deep questions and statements.

Jennifer turned her eyes to her mother. A few seconds staring at Susan blankly, her pupils moved suddenly, reacting to something. Jennifer slowly pitched up and stared at the moon above their heads.

"I saw it. Marry ...." His voice was hoarse, almost gone.

"Where?" Susan's ears were closing in on Jennifer's face.

"forest. Father ... wounded. I have to help her. I have to take him. Dad was hurt, I ..," he blinks a few times, the corner of his eye is watering. "He." His heavy breathing stopped.

"You why?" Susan shook the silent body for a moment.

"I saw Marry."

"really? Where's where?"

"I'm in the woods, dad's hurt, I'm," his eyes blinked again, "me, what are you doing, ma'am?" jennifer said suddenly, her voice suddenly stabilized. Heavy groans and breaths could no longer be heard.

"Jenny?" Susan was shocked to hear his question.

"What's this?" he was surprised to see the condition of his fingers.

"What happened to me?"

"Jenny, are you conscious? But how can it be?" susan said she touched Jennifer's face. Jennifer panicked to see her rough-edged hands and feet.

"It's because of your blood, I guess." Dravis replied with complete calmness.

"What have you done? Why am I like this? Why am I such a monster? What'sthis?" jennifer asked groaning as she touched her own canine teeth.

"Jenny listen to me."

The sound of the wind was blowing fiercely, the trees in front of them were shaking violently. Slowly, the night light was swallowed up by the darkness, the clouds covering the moon were staring at them. The turn of the glowing forest, the gate formed by itself.

Wish Forest is open to Jennifer. The eyes of the three of them were fixed on the twigs that rubbed affectionately. From behind, the sound of clapping was heard. Jennifer turned around and found a familiar figure.

"Black Shadow," he said a little trouble.

"Look, I told you this would work Sue. You're so genius Jennifer" she said, walking up to Jennifer and picking up the box she still held.

"I wondered which side of the forest they were on" he continued, opening the box and touching it with fingers. 

Jennifer fell silent. His condition was very confusing to understand the current situation.

"Mother?" call nanar.

"Yes ... of course ...," Black Shadow raved as she closed her eyes, as she watched the memory of Jennifer who had discovered Herms' whereabouts.

Because of something that binds the two since childhood, Jennifer's memory can connect with Padma and Marry. However, after Padma disappears, her memory is only connected to Marry's. Maybe this is another power that Jennifer has, or maybe the power of the memory trigger box is really reliable.

"Give me back my daughter" Susan said suddenly.

"Of course, the door is already open," Black Shadow replied embracing Jennifer's small body.

"Me?"

"Stop it, Professor." Susan shouted out.

"Jenny, you're— first"

"Say stop!"

"Mother what have I done?" Jennifer started crying.

"All right! I'll find Marry for you soon. Don't say anything to Jennifer." Jennifer who heard that looked at Susan full of questions. "I'll tell you everything when you get back to normal, give her blood please."

"Give blood to a vampire who never drank blood for 20 years of his life, what do you think will happen? Oh right, I can smell the scent of dirty human blood on his body. That must be your gift, right?"

"Professor? Please kind? Don't let him be like me."

"Give her the holy blood of Dravis, the blood of her grandmother Marry I've kept for years. That's delicious blood."

"No." Jennifer was terrified to see the glass bottle in Dravis' hands.

"Jennifer drink, you'll be back to normal" Susan said.

"I won't drink blood, no!" she had unwittingly drunk Susan's blood.

"Jennifer!" the scream of Black Shadow made Jennifer's body freeze and unable to move, her mouth was opened.

With ease, Dravis dripped some red viscous liquid that no longer looked fresh into his mouth. "Bring him in, before the door closes." Black Shadow goes first and restores Jennifer's body which slowly begins to turn normal.

His sharp nails disappeared, his canine teeth returned to normal. Only coughing and sweating did he feel. Susan pulled his arm. Jennifer brushed aside, staring hatefully at the woman she called Mom.

"You owe me a lot of explanation, Mother. About what happened today or in the past. I'll help you, but one wishes. Don't hurt Daddy and Marry."

"Again" cried Black Shadow.

Jenifer walked into the forest, Susan following behind. His move was careless, just for revenge should he do a bad thing to his own daughter?
