The Journey To The Brockleheart Sky

The Journey To The Brockleheart Sky
Chapter 10: Welcome to Arsk

The two sat in front of the hut, warming themselves in front of the bonfire of the gift from the forest of demand.

Both told me about what happened before. Missing each other, Mary and Herms have lived together for over 15 years.

Herms was unceasingly looking at his daughter's face, it seemed like he could only remember it as the face of his little princess, without any memories that were too meaningful. Regret also seemed to strengthen on Herms' face.

"How can I not remember all the days with you? I just remember a few things. Maybe at that time Sue's magic had disappeared or weakened, so that I could share a little memory together with you," inner Herms seemed to cry.

"Dad, I want to try it!" Suddenly Marry stood up.

"What?"

"You said it's the Forest of Demand, right, what if we asked for a delicious dinner and put away those dark clouds, I wanted to see the stars." Marry hooked both hands on his chest and saw the father full of innocence.

Herms smiled for a moment. This is the Forest of Demand, not a forest of magic or a shooting star that can make anyone childish. How could Mary think that. Even if granted, anyone will never feel full. Because, what is done without effort is wasted work.

"Rest, tomorrow we'll find the exit of this forest, and go see your aunt." Herms takes Marry into the shack. The girl let out her original breath, enduring the light vexation that suddenly attacked her.

Slowly the fire was extinguished, the night sky was originally without stars, slowly giving rise to beautiful diamond grains in the sky there. A little bit of Marry's wish has been granted.

In the corner of the hut, already piled some raw meat and vegetables. If Marry had known about this, he would not have wanted to get out of this forest.

Early in the morning, it was even too early for Mary to walk this far. They slowly broke through the forest. Agni, appears to be helping Marry by transforming herself into a young tiger and carrying Marry's box on her back. They stopped by the river to refresh themselves.

It had been about two hours that they had circled the forest, and there were many things that Herms and Marry had never encountered before. This made their journey slow down.

"Marry, please don't think about anything! We're slowing down, if you think about something constantly, they'll keep coming and we can't find the door. Youunderstand?" herms said suddenly.

He could feel his daughter being too enthusiastic about the forest. Maybe because Marry kept locked up in his house every time he came home from school, making this girl completely forget about her age.

"How do you know what I'm thinking?"

"I haven't used it in a long time, so I can only just read your mind and can't control you! Ah, it's nothing. Nevermind."

"Huh?" Marry was very confused by his father's words. "Dad, can I sing?" continued.

"Marry you're not a twelve-year-old girl."

"I can only hum all this time, I can finally bi-way, why Dad forbid me to sing?"

"Maryl?" Herms was stunned, the sharp question left Herms speechless, taking a deep breath and exhaling with a smile. "We are not in a situation to sing or have fun. You see that sign? We've been through it six times!" said Herms showing the mark of the weeds he tied to the thorny tree.

"really? We're just going around in circles? What the hell's going on? Are we lost?" marry panicked.

"Please, please calm down!" he said he sounded annoyed. Marry nodded obediently.

Marry becomes very chatty, it makes the concentration of Herms to use mind control a little disturbed. In fact, it may no longer be possible. Because Hippno magic had been living in his head for so many years, making his control a little chaotic.

Pgpa!

A loud noise came from behind them, their steps halted. Herms and Marry tried to turn around slowly. Agni instantly became a cat again and ran towards the back foot of Herms, leaving the box she was carrying lying around.

"Dad!" his call sounded amazed. Herms turned his head and saw Marry looking down at his shining necklace.

"Maryl?"

"Dad, my necklace shines again!" he said he held the thing with both hands. Trying to keep that beautiful light from passing through the fingers.

"That's the door!" exciting Herms.

"doors? My necklace found the door?" Herms nodded, then shook his head lightly asked Marry's question.

"Wish Forest, take us with any object or creature that comes with me. Take me to Arsk! Take us all to Arsk!" The spell was also said. Herms clasped Marry's hand and ran to endure the pain, passing through the reddish portal mixed with magenta created from the grass.

"Dad!" Marry gaping in disbelief with what they just did, the fur of his romance bristled sweetly. Agni even looked speechless, the cat looked even more adorable with fluffy fur with claws sticking out alert.

Herms was still speechless, this place was more sinister than ever.

Whiter.

There is only white in all corners. Herms clasped his daughter's hand more tightly, eye contact with each other seemed to trust each other. However, slowly the white mist faded away.

The beautiful blue sky greeted them, Marry's mouth still unsealed, beguiled by the color he hadn't seen for two days. Very lovely.

"We're in Arsk! We survived!" herms exclaimed for a moment forgetting the pain in his arm.

"Arsk? Where is that?"

"Your aunt's place, Laura Quirkell! Welcome to Arsk, Marry, where I was born." Herms takes Marry across the Arsk border.

Along the way, pine and acacia trees accompany them. Marry was so stunned, he moved around like a ten-year-old.

Marry could feel that he was really alive. The aroma of Arsk is very distinctive, like the smell of cheese and macaroni mixed in Susan's soup, even smelling more delicious and tempting.

After a long walk, they arrived at a traditional market. The market that seemed not too crowded, maybe because the sun was almost over their heads, so the buyers and sellers had gone home or this market was quiet as the memories of Herms first.

The people there began to look at them, staring confusedly from head to toe. How not to attract attention? They wear dirty clothes for days, even Marry looks stupid in an old-fashioned green dress that was only worn in the 1890s.

In addition, Marry looked even stranger with a wooden rope wrapped around his tiny waist and tied to the edge of the chest. They looked like someone who had just dug a golden tunnel. Of course with the overly adorable cat in Herms' arms, adding a ambiguous look to both.
