The Journey of Young CEO Love

The Journey of Young CEO Love
Part 14's. Slap

Gio's big motorbikes cut through the city streets that are still quite crowded because this is still not too late.

After a few minutes of traveling, the two arrived in front of Ara's minimalist house gate.

"You stop by first", Ara bargained as the girl got off the bike and stood next to Gio.

Gio who was busy helping Ara open his helmet shook his head slowly. The man was still sitting on his motorbike without taking off his helmet.

"When it's night and you need rest" Gio said.

The serious face of the man increasingly made Ara's heart beat unbecoming.

"Gih there goes in" said Gio, gently shuffling Ara's hair made the girl wake up from her daydream.

Ara nodded with her sweet smile. Gio really treated her well, was it wrong that Ara wished more of Gio's sweet nature on her, it seemed like it was a mistake, Ara thought.

"I go in first, thanks to the doll", said Ara raised the large doll in front of Gio.

"Either. Good night, good rest" said Gio again.

Ara nodded and then stepped her foot into the main door of her house. While Gio still did not move from his place. He made sure Ara entered safely first. Just as he was about to pull his motor gas to pass from there, Gio's movement immediately stopped when he saw from a distance Ara also stopped right on the doorstep and out some people. Yang Gio looked at two middle-aged men, two women who were the same age as the man and one elderly woman.

From his place, Gio can see Ara's arrival welcomed by the elderly woman, but not by the four people who were there as well. Gio could see the anger, hateful look and cynical look of the four.

While at the end of there when Ara was about to say hello and open the door, her movements stopped when the big door first moved and out five people who were so familiar with Ara. Ara had indeed seen their car when it came, but as much as possible she looked calm and did not show her anxiety.

"You've come home" Muti, the grandmother greeted him with a sweet smile but was also astonished that Ara was returning sooner than usual.

"Ara's working hours have been.", Ara's speech was cut off as the man in front of her raised his voice.

"Udah come home to you. What do you do every night until you get home late and leave your own grandmother at home, what if something happens, huh?" he said. He's Bimo, the elder brother of his mother.

"Sell yourself, mom. Biasalah, children today", said the woman with a brown dress. She is Arini, her elder sister and the other two are Anggi wife of Bimo and Beni husband of Arini. They were all om and Ara's aunt, but so hated Ara I don't know what made them hate her, Ara also until now did not know. They only say if the birth of Ara brings misfortune in their family. Whatever Ara did must always be wrong in their eyes.

"Sorry, Aunt but Ara is halal" said Ara. Even though they hated her, Ara still had the courtesy not to repay them any more they were outgoing.

"What is your job until late gini, and what is this?", said someone who just joined them, pointing to the doll that Ara hugged from earlier. Two girls who were the same age as her had just joined forces making Ara sigh even more and more trying to calm herself down.

One of them, call Aini the son of Arini and Beni or Ara's cousin brother seized the doll and threw it away.

"Where can you get money from?" he asked.

"Dication friend, Aini. Don't buy why I haven't paid" replied Ara calmly and picked up the doll again.

"Nia, keep talking to you", said Muti did not accept his granddaughter being insulted like this.

"It goes on", he said.

His gaze shifted to stare at Ara from top to bottom. Wait, where did Ara get these clothes, even though it looks simple but Rania knows very well that the output of one of the famous brands. Although his family is fairly well-off but still, his sense of irony on Ara makes him hate the girl even more. Sometimes Ara was confused as to what made them envious of her. Though if seen, they are luckier than Ara, have a whole family unlike Ara who has been left behind by both parents.

"For the money", Aini's pinta robs Ara's bag.

"Don't, Aini. I haven't paid payday. I don't save money now", said Ara trying to reclaim her bag.

"Shut up", Arini snapped, seeing his son's behavior instead of stopping him scolding Ara who was trying to take back his bag.

"Aante, um.. Ara ask you to stop them. Ara is not paid, it's Ara's savings to buy her grandmother's medicine", said Ara staring nanar on her bag that was searched by Aini.

"Please, auntie", all just quietly staring Aini's behavior. No one wants to stop it, let alone stop it.

"Come, Rania. Enough, tell your sister she's the one who took your job her result", Muti tried to stop but not at all listened to.

"AINI STOP" cried Ara. It's not what she's really running out of money right now and all she's got is to buy her grandmother's medicine tomorrow, she's not lying about it, he also couldn't possibly drain his savings anymore just to finance this cousin of his for a ponya-foya.

Hearing Ara's quite loud screech, Bimo took a step forward and raised his hand slapping Ara's smooth cheek making Ara turn sideways by holding a throb on her cheek, but the throbbing in her heart was more painful now, she felt, this is called family. They were never kind to Ara in the least, always like this if their wishes were not fulfilled, her body being subjected to violence. And what was that ? They even accused him of selling himself. Heartache ? Obviously, but Ara could only keep quiet and hold her herself.

"Don't yell at my son" Bimo said after slapping Ara. There was no pity at all for these four people for Ara. As much as possible Ara held back her tears from breaking now. He must not look weak.

After finding what they wanted, Aini and Rania re-entered the house and a few minutes later returned and walked with their parents to leave Ara staring at her bag with a glazed look. He did not think about his bag or the heartache and pain in his cheeks but he thought about how tomorrow he bought his grandmother medicine while the money had been taken Aini and Rania earlier.

Ara sighed softly then picked up her bag and faced her grandmother who was looking at her with a sad look.

"I'm sorry, grandma can't help Ara" he said, hugging the body of his favorite granddaughter.

"Ara no papa nek, let's go in this late at night", said Ara smiled as if everything was fine.

While at the end there without anyone realizing it, Gio saw all the events earlier. His hand gripped the steering wheel tightly. With a sharp gaze and hardened jaws holding back the anger, Gio stared at the two cars that were about to leave Ara's house.

As for Rania, the only person who was aware of Gio's existence stared at the back of the man who was slowly disappearing from his sight.

"Kayak knows, but who", his inner.
