“Don't call me, dad. You are not in our family.” Bill cut it cold.

"good. Mr. Rockefeller, there are a few things I would like to talk to you about personally." Brittany said with clenched teeth.

“Are you trying to bribe me? Tell me that now. I don't want to see you again after today!”

Brittany took a deep breath. “Alright, I'll say it! Your eldest son, William, is innocent. He was all a conspiracy that John had created to frame him!

The day before Alex's wedding, we found evidence John defrauded money from the company and had a close relationship

with Japanese!”

“What nonsense! You're the one who set him up! Keep spewing nonsense, and I will beat you all out!” The angry Bill roared.

Brittany was even more furious. “You believe everything John says, but none of me! Why are you so biased? William is your son too!"

"We built the Rockefeller Group from the ground up!" How can you do this to us?! I have proof!”

Bill was a little surprised by his remark but replied to it mockingly.

"Evidence?"

You have set their traps as well. I'll never believe you! Your family committed treason and

should be in jail for everything you've done. If I hear all this going around

around, I want you to know that framing John is an offense I take seriously. You will bear my anger!”

Alex is at the limit of his ability to hear Bill vilify his mother with lewd comments.

He shouted furiously, “Stupid base!

Are you mentally challenged? If I hear another insult from you, I will knock you down with my fist!”

Bill was angry. He raised his hand to Alex.

Alex Rockefeller quickly intercepts and grabs Bill's hand in mid-air. He glared and sneered. “Stupid old man, enjoy the last days standing. Your happy days are numbered.”

Previously, he observed Bill Rockefeller had a serious case of blockage of blood vessels in his brain. It won't be long before he'll suffer a stroke and be bedridden.

Gavin Cole sighed, “I don't know why he's in such a bad mood. You're all family, aren't you?

Don't worry, Brittany. I'll talk to him.

Brittany remained silent.

Brittany and Alex want to meet Bill to find out his feelings, but his response is even worse than expected.

Bill did not take William Rockefeller's death seriously. His attitude towards Brittany and Alex was cruel. Truth is not important. All he wanted was for them to leave

from the Rockefeller family, like garbage swept out of the house.

The drizzle started to descend as they left the Cole Residence.

The autumn weather is a little cold.

"Mother, did you tell the truth when you said that you had evidence of John's

corruption practices?” ask Alex after they get in the car.

Brittany shook her head. “It's been more than half a year. Even if they existed at one point, there was nothing left now. Plus, John is now the owner of the Rockefeller Group legally.

He has access to a large network. There is therefore no way we can fight it head-on, given how weak we are.

"We have to buy time. That's a lot of work!" Alex commented.

With the Thousand Miles Conglomerate behind him, he needed at most several days to destroy the Rockefeller Group.

There was also a special tactic used to coerce members of the Rockefeller family. However, this would definitely expose the relationship between Thousand Miles Conglomerate and Alex.

"That's unthinkable!"
