Edgar panicked and he knelt down pleading, "No, please, I was wrong, I'm sorry. Let me compensate you, Mr. Bernard. Signore..Mr. Alex, please give me a chance, I owe you a lot."

Then, they say goodbye at the intersection. Alex sat alone on the side of the road and thought, Where should I go? Should I stay at the hotel tonight? Or should I go back to the Assex family? Deep down, he did not want to return to the Assex family.
