Cheryl is still standing in front of the ward, worrying about Alex. He looked at the window of the ward, inspecting it without thinking. However, he was surprised by what he saw. He rushed to the ward.

"Alex, what are you doing?"

"Stop!" Alex yelled, "Don't come near me, I saved my mother"

He was now speeding up his pace as he pierced through some other vital acupuncture.

Cheryl speechless. "If he could really save his mother, he would become a god" he thought.

Cheryl took a long breath. "Well, I'll let him do his job!" Cheryl decided to stand to the side and watch him.

Alex is now pressing hard in the middle of Brittany's chest. With that, the Thirteen Acupuncture Hells were finished. He just had to wait until he woke up.

"Mom, you must wake up, you must live." Alex closed his eyes and prayed.

Just as he said that, a BIP sounded..BIP, light echoing in the ward.

Cheryl was shocked and looked towards the monitor that monitored Brittany's heart rate. The ECG was just a straight line a moment ago, yet his heart was now beating again.

"How.. how did this happen?

Cheryl stared in disbelief. He approached Brittany's bed and saw her eyelids fluttering, slowly opening. Cheryl thinks she's hallucinating.

After jerking back to reality, he exclaimed excitedly, "Alex, Alex! Mother's awake! He woke up and Alex immediately opened his eyes, overjoyed.

"Mom! Ma! You're up!" Alex cried, holding Brittany's hand.

Her eyes turned red as she started crying. It's real, the book is real. Even his ancestors are real. It's all thanks to his ancestors.

Cheryl was very excited and she started crying too. He couldn't believe that Brittany was really awake. They had announced his death not too long ago, yet he had just woken up this suddenly was truly a miracle in the medical field!

"Could he really try to save her?" Cheryl muttered softly, looking at Alex with confused eyes.

Brittany really got up and turned to Alex.

"Alex, where?"

Cheryl runs out of the ward to call her colleagues to form a medical team to have Brittany perform a full-body checkup. Everything's fine with him now.

The news quickly spread throughout the hospital, causing an uproar. One of their doctors just announced the time of Brittany's death. However, in just a few minutes, someone saved him and he woke up from his coma.

Alex smiles. "What do you mean randomly stabbing? It was Thirteen Acupuncture Hell."

"What Are the Thirteen Acupuncture Hells?"

"Ah. Well, I found out about it online, it seems to work on patients in vegetative states. I was panicking at the time, so I decided to give it a try. But I don't think it's gonna work!"

Alex laughed nervously when he lied. He knew he should not reveal anything about the Supreme Medical Book. To be honest, he was also very confused.

Cheryl speechless. How can you trust everything online? Half an hour later, Alex and his mother were alone in the ward.

Brittany looked at Alex and asked, "Son, where's your dad?"

Alex decides to stay at the hospital to accompany his mother, instead of returning to the Assex residence. He knew that if he came home, he would end up with a terrible fate.

Brittany had just woken up from her coma so her body was still very weak. He fell asleep in just a few moments.
