At age 9, his father Boris Sidis enrolled his son at Harvard University. He set a record in 1909 as the youngest student to enroll at Harvard University, one of the best campuses in the world.
By early 1910, he had mastered mathematics with ease. He even gave a lecture on ‘Four-Dimension’ Facades at Harvard Mathematical Club in front of Harvard University Professors and Graduate students.
FUTURE SCIENTISTS
MIT Professor of Physics Daniel F. Comstock called James Sidis a miracle and he would become one of the most eminent mathematicians and scientists of the future. James Sidis was a child at the time and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Cum Laude predicate at the age of 16 in 1914.
After graduating from college, James Sidis continued his studies but had faltered because he was threatened by a group of students who did not like him. At the age of 17, he accepted an offer as a teaching assistant while continuing on to a doctoral program at the William Marsh Rice Institute.
There James Sidis taught trigonometry, Euclidean Geometry and non-euclidean geometry, but he did not complete his studies on the grounds of feeling frustrated by the learning system and the treatment of his upperclassmen who did not like him.

His popularity and prowess in the field of mathematics made him tormented. A few years before he died, Sidis did have time to tell the press that he hated math – something that has so far catapulted his name.
In social life, Sidis has few friends. In fact, he is also often exiled by fellow campus. I never had a boyfriend or wife.
His bachelor's degree was never completed, left alone. He then severed ties with his family, wandering in secrecy, working on a makeshift salary, secluded himself.
He ran away from his childhood glory which was actually a projection of the father. He realized that his life was the result of the management of others. However, awareness often comes too late.
James Sidis himself fully realized that he was only the subject of his father's experiments so that he then isolated himself.
