Chapter 67: Interception
When he learns that Sand is transporting a doll, Ryo soon realizes that they don't want to fight, but they are waiting for a weapon that should prove very problematic for Konoha.
The Sand Puppet Division had always been terrifying to other villages. Dolls when controlled by masterminds can use some of their organs as weapons and can use some very poisonous drugs.
Although Konoha had an excellent medical ninja system, they were still unable to stop the damage of the puppet division.
"How many dolls do they have?" ask Jiraya.
“I don't know what the total amount is, but we already detected about 1000.” Hyuga answered Jiraya after thinking.
“1000 dolls? Sakumo-san, I'm leaving! Batch should be handled. I will..” Jiraya offers herself.
“Jiraya san, Sakumo san, you two can't leave. If Sand finds out that one of you has left the camp, they will definitely launch an all-out attack. The sand is transporting the puppets at the moment to force you to compromise. ” Ryo interrupts Jiraya.
“What Ryo said makes sense, because indeed none of us can leave camp.” Sakumo agreed with him.
"Who's the strongest on the train escort team?" ask Ryo.
"My bug told me that it was only afraid of one person, it meant there was only one Jonin there."
“What he said was true, I only detected one with my Byakugan, and it was Pakura of the Scorched Element.” Hyuga.
“Sakumo san, Jiraya san, I'll go!” Said Ryo.
“Nak, are you sure you want to deal with Pakura? He can fight your Ice.”
“Don't worry Jiraya san, I'm ready. Right now, I am much stronger than two months ago.” Seeing Ryo's confidence, Jiraya felt she shouldn't be against his choice.
“Then Ryo, I will leave this matter to you. If you are ever in danger, or if you happen to encounter an ambush, you are free to relinquish the task. How many people do you need?” Sakumo asked.
"I need three, who are proficient in the Water Element." Ryo said after thinking about it.
Not many Konoha ninja are adept at water release. More of them could only use one or two small Jutsu. But still, only three Ninjas that fit the requirements of Ryo were not hard to find.
After the three of them arrived at Sakumo's tent, Ryo immediately set off with them, following Aburame's insect. They headed straight for the newly discovered transport team.
After Ryo's departure, Sakumo orders the Hyuga and Aburame clans to pay attention to Sand's movements and report back to him whenever they detect any changes.
On his way to Sand's transport team, Ryo explains his third mission and asks them their names. He learns that they are Haname Uchiha, Taichi Tanaka and Shin Sarutobi.
Haname is a Konoichi who mastered the release of Fire, Water, and Wind well. She looked like she was 20 years old and very beautiful. Well, the Uchiha are usually not ugly.
Taichi Tanaka had a similar temperament to Jiraya whenever she was drunk, and she was somewhat similar to him. He mastered the release of water. The Tanaka clan got along well with the Yamanaka clan, and Ryo was pleased with him.

Last up was Shin Sarutobi, and he was the type of person who spoke a lot. That treatment was the most difficult thing for Ryo to deal with. He mastered the Water and Fire Elements.
Allowed by the insects, they were close enough to see the Sand transport team.
They are not many, just over 50. There were 2 Chunin in front and behind the team, with Pakura in the middle.
“Captain, what should we do? We were massively outnumbered. This way, we have no chance to win!” Taichi Tanaka.
“You wait here. I'll take care of the Sensorial Ninja in front of their team. After I did that, Taichi and Shin had to go and take care of the two Chunins behind. Haname, you and I will deal with Pakura.”
After assigning each one with their duties, Ryo uses the Transformation Jutsu to look like a civilian, and uses the techniques he obtained from the Sand spy on that day to hide his Chakra.
He went and pretended to just pass by. Their Sensory Ninja considered him an ordinary civilian.
Ryo observes them well, and sees the Sensory Ninja protected by the Chunins in front.
Of course, since they thought he was a civilian, the Sand Ninjas did not prepare for battle. They had just advanced after confirmation of their sensory ninja.
The two men in charge of the Ninja's sensory protection did not expect that at all. By the time they could react, their comrade was already dead.
"You're next! [Chidori]!” After successfully killing his target, Ryo did not immediately escape. He used Chidori to penetrate Chunin's heart on the left.
Only then could his team-mates react. In less than 5 seconds, Ryo is able to kill the Sensory Ninja and one of Chunin.
“[Calling]!” Ryo called Gamahiro.
"Hiro, please, take care of these people!"
"No problem!" The two battles they followed together turned Ryo and Gamahiro into excellent partners.
“This is Yamanaka Ryo! I've seen this frog before!”
“Yes, it's really him! This time, it's over!”
Sand knows Ryo well. His performance in the first two battles was incredible. His Ice Colossus had specifically left a deep impression on them, and it wasn't good.
As everyone's attention is taken by Ryo and Gamahiro, Haname Uchiha and the others start to work.
“[Water Pers: Jutsu Great Waterfall]!” Tanaka's water attack hit the back of Sand's team.
“[Scorch Release: Rise]” from within the Sand team, a heatwave comes in and Tanaka's water attack instantly evaporates.
“You Ryo Yamanaka?” Pakura got out of the team and asked.
"Yes!"
"How did you use that secret Jutsu to hide your Chakramu?" Pakura's question made Ryo blink. Shouldn't they just fight instead of talk?
He did not say anything, and he went towards her straight ahead. He retrieved his Knife from his Seal Scroll, activated Chidori Blade, opened his Sharingan, and blinked right in front of Pakura.
He wanted to find out how helpful the 3 Sharingan tomoe was in battle, so he went for the Taijutsu battle.
Pakura was not affected by his attack. He could see that he was not so physically strong. He's more like a speed-type ninja.
He quickly won in this physical fight, but his years of experience made him realize that it would not work. Regardless of which angle he launched his attack from, Ryo seemed to have anticipated it before and always avoided it. It didn't take long for him to realize that he didn't beat her up with just Taijutsu.
“[Delayed Release: Rise]!” A terrifying burst of heat came from his direction again.
“[Ice Release: Ice Armor]!” Since Pakura had evaporated the Tanaka water attack, there was a lot of water vapor in the air. Ryo continued on and condensed it to protect himself.
“Heating done! Let's see what your Ice is about!”
