Although the Elves had an extremely long lifespan, they did not possess an immortal body. Throughout the history of the Land of Dawn, this gentle and vulnerable race had experienced pain and suffering before finally establishing their residence in the Azrya Woodlands. Miya lived and experienced this whole event.

Born at the end of an era rife with strife, Miya witnessed the terrible tragedies that befell the Elves in the war, following the Moon Goddess. It then experiences a second continental war with the humans, and witnesses many of its own people transform into Dark Elves after the Abyss corrupts and pollutes the Shadow Swamp.

Saddened by the plight of her people and the wounds of war, Miya hopes for a peaceful life, and this hope is finally realized when the Moon Goddess uses all her strength to create the Lunar Aegis, which is the, protect the entire Elves in Azrya Woodlands and make them able to thrive under the protection of the Lunar Aegis.

After this, the Moon Goddess fell into a deep sleep, and Miya became a priest. For thousands of years, he served at Luna Temple with great fidelity. He prayed for the resurrection of the Moon Goddess and that one day he would be able to protect the Elves for good.

However, Miya's lifetime at that time was over. With the continued expansion of the Abyss and the demons, the war again enveloped the Land of Dawn. When the humans and the Abyssal Demon entered the stage of stalemate, there was disagreement among the Elves regarding their attitude towards the war.

The faction led by the Elf King, Estes, believed that the evil Abyss would bring calamity to the entire continent, and the Elves had to take the initiative to destroy the demons. Many other Elves believed that their people had suffered enough, and should not go back to war, as well as it was better for them to live safely within the Azrya Woodlands region under the protection of the Lunar Aegis Moon Goddess.

Elsewhere, Orcs and demons led by Balmond gathered at the Stormeye Wastelands. This time, their target was not Moniyan Empire, but rather the Moonlit Forest itself. With the great Moon Goddess still asleep, and Estes's strength declining, Miya had no choice.
