“Your fear will be on every animal. Your decision is accepted by every soul that walks the earth, and every path of Light shines, with your hand they will be drawn,” Arbiter of Light.

Xavier is a member of the noble Knights of Light a force that rivals the Light's Order of the Moniyan Empire. In addition to being the youngest Arbiter of Light, he was also known for his unusual habits…

Xavier was born into a family of ordinary merchants in Lumina City. The only unusual thing, if it did exist, was her mother—a Light Elf. Perhaps because of his Elf bloodline, Xavier was born with extraordinary intelligence and the purest sapphire eye color. Xavier's father once had high hopes for Xavier, thinking he could bring good luck to his business. Xavier, however, shows no interest in the family business and joins the Convent of Light as he grows up. Before he left, his mother, who also believed in the King of Light, gave him a magical robe made by the Elves.

To the followers of Light, the Monastery of Light was a sacred place where they would sacrifice everything to be a part of it, but only a few of them could pass the harsh entrance exam, he said, if it's not possible. It didn't happen to Xavier, and the reason can be traced back to when he was a child.

At nightfall, Little Xavier often sneaks out of the house to play with the cats on the street. He gives each of the ordinary cats a new identity, either "hero" or "evil dragon", while he himself is the "commander" who oversees the battlefield. Xavier has sunk into his imaginary heroic adventure, until one day the "evil dragon" disappears. He goes looking for her, only to find her surrounded by a pack of stray dogs. The latter will tear the "evil dragon" to pieces! Without thinking, Little Xavier rushed to the side of the "evil dragon" and held it in his hand. He closed his eyes and, for the first time, felt a burning anger in his veins. The pain did not come as he expected. It was as if some mysterious substance had flowed out of Xavier's body and stopped the stray dogs in their tracks. Xaverius was relieved. Still holding the "evil dragon", he doesn't realize that the miracle was created by himself, and it was the first awakening of his control over the Mystical magic — a rare power that few in history have.

In the Monastery library, Xavier finds the perfect spell for his mystical magic in an ancient book—mantra that allows his power to continue to increase with the amount of magic around him. Under his control, the highly compressed magic particles would split and explode, creating an enormous destructive energy in an instant.

After that, Xavier gained countless merits on missions issued by the Church and was highly praised by the Bishop. At the next Light Gathering, Bishop places the Badge of Light on Xavier's chest and announces it as the Arbiter of Light.

Xavier received a mission to suppress the heretics from the Free Smiths Guild not long after. According to the order, he was supposed to protect the Church's secret army, "Doubtful", to attack the heretic fortress. The special forces recruited by the Bishop gathered people from various backgrounds who wanted to atone for their sins. They were like crows hidden among the shadows, their only purpose being to peck at all the dirt that could block the descent of the Light.

With his trademark attack, Xavier pierced through the fort's defenses with just a flick of his finger. The sight that came afterwards, however, made him stop dead in his tracks. The fortress was full of women, children, and old people, and on the ground was a mother who was wounded by her Mystic magic, still desperately protecting her baby... But "Smagak" rushed in and finished off the survivors with painful excitement.

Xavier stumbled into the depths of the fortress, shaking all over. From the wife of a Smith Master, she knew the truth behind the suppression. It wasn't about suppressing heretics, but to rob the Smith family of its enchantment secrets! For the first time, Xavier doubted the mission issued by the Archbishop. But just as he was debating whether to execute "annihilation", a "Some" behind him had thrown his flying knife.

The woman was killed in an instant, when Xavier felt a movement in the shadow behind him. There was a red-haired child hidden in the shadows, terrified and desperate.

Another arbiter of Light, Alucard, witnessed the entire incident. He tried to cover up the incident for Xavier, but somehow it still reached the ears of the Bishop.

For the Bishop, what Xavier did was the same as siding with a heretic. Deeply disappointed, the Bishop sends Xavier to the Empire's borders to carry out a dangerous mission against the Abyss. For the next ten years, Xavier was not haunted by what he saw in the fort. He no longer had the zeal for the task given to him and often mocked his comrades with sarcasm.

This situation lasted until Rod Sidon became the new Archbishop, who then decided to give Xavier a second chance and call Xavier back to his side. To lead the guards to maintain order in Lumina City. Xavier took this new position with renewed vigor. The heretical signs in Lumina City almost disappeared, and the Church took the opportunity and claimed it all because of the new Archbishop who followed the prophecy of the King of Light.

During this period, however, Xavier saw through the injustices in Lumina City and no longer believed in Church propaganda. He began to mock his colleagues with sarcastic comments again and only did the bare minimum to fulfill his duties. More than once the desire to refuse or leave appeared in Xavier's mind. Only the vows he made to serve the Archbishop and fight for Light throughout his life held him back.

Behind Xavier's face of indifference is an endless struggle, and for every moment he must convince himself not to give in to the gaping emptiness in his heart. He waits for the turn of events from destiny—either die, go, or change.

During the Light Gathering organized by the Archbishop, Xavier received a secret mission to patrol Lumia City and eliminate all heretical marks.

On the mission, Xavier meets Melissa and Yin who are chased by demons. The sign of heresy is a disgrace to the prestige of the Church!

Xavier looked at the two young men in silence. He was supposed to arrest these two heretic suspects on the spot, but saw— Yin being injured while protecting the child on the street, he said, the shadow of the mother carrying her child in the fortress a decade ago suddenly flashed through her mind.

Young Xavier back then had no other choice, but now? "Shall I arrest them, release them, or..."

Xavier said to himself, "This time, the choice is in my hands."
