The story of Yu Zhong Mobile Legends starts from a place called Cardia Riverland which was once one of the peaceful residences and was in the protection of the Great Dragon. But the peace was disturbed due to a meteor that fell and gave rise to one of the new dragons named Black Dragon. Prior to this there had been prophecies stating that a dragon would emerge from the darkness whose ambition was to destroy the dragon altar and dominate the Cardia Riverlands.
Yu Zhong pondered the evil power that existed in his past life where he was a Black Dragon. Unwittingly Yu Zhong continued to step foot until he reached the Reverse Scale where it was one of the forbidden places and had been sealed for thousands of years. The Reverse Scale slowly devoured Yu Zhong's body resulting in him mutating into the Black Dragon. Great Dragon and the entire Oriental knight came to stop him.
However the plan was known to Luo Yi so he cursed in one place to trap the oriental hero who came to rescue Yu Zhong using his Yin Yang circumference. Of his many Oriental heroes only WanWan managed to escape from Luo Yi thanks to his agility.
WanWan tried to unlock Yu Zhong's memory while being critical because WanWan had always believed that Yu Zhong had a good heart and personality. He dashed towards Yu Zhong while overseeing the primordial spirit and inserted it into Yu Zhong's body.
The Primordial Spirit joined the scale which made Yu Zhong have a strong determination so that his consciousness was not fully revealed by the Black Dragon. It was successfully done with him being able to control the shape change between humans and dragons. This was all indeed planned by Yu Zhong as Wanwan's innocence would earn him the primordial spirit he needed to combine with his Reverse Scale.
After turning into a dragon Yu Zhong flew into the sky and Luo Yi was furious because it turned out that Yu Zhong had been very cunning and had only made use of Luo Yi. Thanks to the great power of the Black Dragon in his body, Yu Zhong had the desire to defeat the Great Dragon in the future. From the story it was revealed that the Black Dragon was one of the Great Dragon's best disciples.
