²⁷. Fall in love

One week had passed, and Alana had been waiting since that one week in front of the campus but Hendrik had never come to the campus.

The woman wondered about Hendrik's sudden disappearance.

"Should I go to her house again and check on her? But, why should I do it? He's just a lackey! No more...!!!" Alana was so agitated for 1 week she was restless because she did not meet with Hendrik.

However, Alana does not want to confess her feelings, she always thinks she only feels worried for Hendrik just like her father who worries about the geeky man.

Alana was still struggling with her own thoughts as a man shouted towards her.

"Well!" Arga.

"Hey," said Alana smilingly welcoming the arrival of the man.

"I came to your house but you left first. I'm sorry I was late to pick you up because last night there was an inevitable meeting, I went home at dawn and bad luck." Said Arga who seemed to feel guilty to Alana.

"It's okay, you better get to work or you might be late." Alana.

"Yes, but before that I want to give this to you as my apology." Arga took out a small box from his pocket.

"This is for me?" Ask Alana.

"Yes, you can open it after I'm gone." Arga said then the man immediately turned to his car waving his hand at Alanna and entered his car.

Alana watched the car that was walking away and her gaze returned to look at the small box in her hand.

"Well, is that guy really thinking of marrying me? So sucks!!" Alana threw the small town to the ground and came back upset.

"The fucking lackey! How dare he not come to see me for 7 days in a row!" Furious Alana immediately left the place and went to the salon owned by her friend.

"Well!" Emily exclaimed with delight when she saw her rich friend return to her salon.

"I need your help again." Alana said without making small talk.

"Aahh, about the disguise? But the bike you drove the other day was brought by my brother so-"

"Don't think about it, I can take a cab." Alana said and the two women immediately entered a special room.

Alana is quickly transformed into a man.

Hearing Emily's words, Alana clenched her teeth tightly and looked at herself in the mirror.

'What am I thinking?! Did I miss that lackey to do something crazy like this?!' Alana grumbled to herself because she really did not understand her feelings.

Could it be just out of pity and he did it to this extent?!

"Hey, why are you daydreaming and not answering my question?!" Emily's words awakened Alana from her daydream and the woman smiled clumsily.

"You'd be confused if I told you this because I don't understand it myself. A friend of mine who was always bullied on campus suddenly disappeared for 7 days I was about to look for him." Alana explained briefly.

"What?!" Emily was shocked "Since when did this arrogant woman Alana suddenly care about other people?!" Emily said she couldn't believe it.

"I don't care. It's just because you're concerned!" Alana denies it.

"Don't talk nonsense! Is it a man?!" Emily asked with a look in Alana's eyes to see Alana's face change.

"Hmmm, yeah." Alana answered with a slight sigh.

"God...!! You're in love!!" Emily was so surprised that her voice was so big because of a new fact that was so astounding.

Alana who never liked a man is now conquered by a geeky man who became a victim of bullying on campus!

"Hey..when did I say I was in love?!" Alana immediately protests Emily who concludes without concrete evidence!

"You know that in terms of love I'm definitely better than you! Now that you don't even acknowledge your own feelings, you'll regret it for a long time!" Emily's words left Alana speechless.

Regretted? Is he sorry now?

Alana recalls when she said goodbye to Hendrik to go on a date.

Just then, Alana gritted her teeth and stood up.

"I'm leaving." Alana's words passed leaving Emily, now smiling behind her back.
