²³. Talk to Hans

Alana leaves Hendrik's room after he learns the man's entire secret.

'Dangerous...! I had expected it from the beginning, but why wouldn't he be the heir? Although his father's business was large and had many irregularities, but didn't everyone who owned the business definitely have their own dark secrets?' Alana wondered at Hendrik's doorstep.

He felt very strange on Hendrik's grounds. Just because you don't want to be the heir...!!!

"Master Gibran," suddenly Lina came to him.

"Oya Aunt Lina, I'm ready to go home. Hendrik had finished all the porridge and I put the dirty dishes on the table." Alana.

"Sorry Aunt, but what's the matter Hendrik's father wants to see me?" Alana asked carefully.

"I'm just a maid in this house, so I don't know anything, I'm just assigned to call Mr. Gibran to the Lord after Mr. Gibran has finished meeting Aden." Lina.

"Sorry Aunt, but I have an urgent lecture, so it seems like today I might not be able to see Hendrik's father." Said Alana who didn't want to take the risk.

If it is discovered that the biological child of the great enemy Mr. Hans is in his house then it could be that he will not come out alive from this house.

After all, no one knew that he was in that place!

"I see, then I will tell the great sir that Mr. Gibran is in a hurry. Let me drive it forward." Linq said unwilling to force Alana then the two walked down the stairs.

'Thank God, it wasn't hard to resist.' Alana sighed with relief as she descended one by one the stairs.

Unfortunately, they were only in the middle of the stairs when Hans' voice suddenly stopped their steps.

"Good day uncle." Alana said in an attempted voice as closely as possible to the male voice.

"Great master, Mr. Gibran is in a hurry because he has an urgent lecture so-"

"Just 5 minutes, I just want to thank you for coming to visit my Son." Hans said cutting Lina's words.

'Damn it, I couldn't possibly reject it or she would get more suspicious.' Alana thought then she immediately agreed to Hans' request and they entered a room that looked like a rarely used workspace.

'I heard this old man really likes to play girls. What if he attacks me here? Even though I'm a martial artist but it's impossible to defeat him right?' Alana thought anxiously as she followed Hans walking towards the sofa.

After the two sat down, Alana tried to act like a young man.

"I was quite surprised when I found out a friend of my Son came to visit him. You must have known how gossip about my son." Hans started the conversation.

'This man really does not make small talk, at least ask me my name first.' Alana grumbled in her heart.

"Yes, I'm the head of the force so I'm just here to do my job." Alana tries to make herself like someone who does not like Hendrik but still has to take responsibility for her duties.

"So yes, Hendrik was also sick for 1 week but no one came to visit him. Possibly-"

"I'm sorry for the incident, but it looks like that day I wasn't in the capital either so I didn't come to visit Handrik." Alana cut off Hans's words.

"That's it, then from now on I hope that you will often come to accompany my son. He has no friends and he always feels lonely, so please come with him often." Hans' words startled Alana.
