Tut Tut's...
Alana looked at the phone in Hendrik's hand.
So those photos actually belonged to her father?
Unfinished from her confusion, she felt Hendrik pull her into the man's arms and hold Alana's chin for them to look at.
"Don't I tell you? Why can't you trust me? Am I really insignificant in your heart that you can't trust me?" Asked Hendrik who now returned to show his sad face to Alana.
"That, sorry, I just-"
"I told you and Agung to stay on the balcony before, but you didn't seem to trust me and went to peek at me, and now those photos, too, are,, I don't seem to mean anything to you until you can't put your trust in me." Hendrick said in a voice filled with sadness and the man let go of their arms and turned to leave Alana in his study.
Alana was glued to her place seeing the change in situation happening very quickly.
After a few seconds she walked to the door and knocked.
Tok tok...
"Hendrik, I'm sorry, I really didn't intend that" Alana said, wiping away tears that flooded her cheeks.
"Hendrik??" Alana again said after a few minutes and no voice answered from within.
Whereas in the room, Hendrik was standing right in the doorway looking at the door that blocked him with Alana.
'I have to do this, because in the future there might be many things that could make Alana doubt me. If I'm not strict with him to have him trust you completely, then it's possible that something like this will happen again.' thought Hendrik who felt that Alana too soon decided something.
If just like this has made God want to leave her, then what if the woman misunderstands her matchmaking with the women out there?
Hendrik was still silent for a few minutes until it sounded Alana was a bit short of breath then the man turned the door handle and saw Alana standing down in front of him.
"Hendrik," Alana immediately raised her face and threw herself into the man's arms.
"Sorry, I should have trusted you. Sorry, sorry," said Alana, sobbing until her tears stained the clothes worn by Hendrik.
Hendrik sighed and hugged Alana back tightly while landing a few kisses on the top of the woman's head.
"I'm sorry, too, I was wrong, too" said Hendrik in a soft voice while rubbing his nose against Alana's fragrant hair.
"I promise, in the future I will never doubt you again, I will fully trust you." Said Alana who still could not regulate her breathing properly.
He was very afraid that the man would eventually become very disappointed because he did not trust Hendrik.
Thankfully, Hendrik listened to it.
"You have to trust me, even in the future if something bothers you, you can't trust anyone but me. Youunderstand?" Ask Hendrik.
"Yes, I know, I know," replied Alana.
Hearing Alana's reply, Hendrik then extended his hand to bring the two legs of the woman to circle on her waist and they returned to the room.
"Don't cry anymore, there's Agung sleeping here" Hendrik said as he sat on the edge of the bed without releasing Alana from her sling.
"Sorry," Alana finally raised her face to look at Hendrik.
"Yes, I've forgiven you, look at your face getting messy like this." Hendrik held the woman's head and kissed the remains of Alana's tears clean.
