04. Sam's return

One month is over, Chriss and Ijima are officially married and the man has assumed the throne of Neoma kingdom.

Currently they are in the room Chriss, Ijima trying to open the jewelry attached to the girl's sweet neck.

"Asterian Kingdom? Who?"

"Ijima Ryoika, daughter of King Oda and Queen Ryoika," chriss replied lazily.

Sam was surprised he almost lost his balance, "Queen Ryoika is a former goddess, and her daughter is predicted to be the leader of the sky, that means you're married-"

"Right, descendant of the goddess," Chriss cut.

"Bring me to see him" asked Sam, Chriss initially reluctant but Sam continued to force the man to resign.

Chriss told a lady-in-waiting to call Ijima here, the two of them waiting in the royal meeting room.

"I don't think, a rebel like you has a goddess's wife" Sam said with a laugh.

"Stop mocking me, brother, I wouldn't have married her if it wasn't for my father's request" Chriss said as Sam mocked her.

"Excuse me." The two men stared at the unopened door, they were sure that behind it was Ijima.

"Please come in" said Sam.

A beautiful girl opened the big door carefully, Sam was fascinated because Ijima was so beautiful.

"What does your majesty call me?" Ijima asked in a formal style of speech, his hands were joined together in front of his stomach.

Chriss pointed at Sam lazily, "Include him my brother, Sam Kodama." Chriss' hand moved to Ijima, "And she was Ijima Ryoika, my wife.

Sam stared in disbelief at his sister, "Chriss, she's your first wife, why haven't you given her the throne?" his protest.

"Sister, she was indeed my first wife but not my favorite," Chriss replied indifferently.

"Teacher says we're going on another mission, this time we're going out of Horizon" Awldo said.

"Mission out Horizon? But-"

"I know, the lady did not come, it's okay, Tsukasa and I are used to carrying out missions together" Awldo explained.

"I threatened King Oda to marry Ijima and Chriss, I wanted Ijima to eliminate the monster in your brother's body" explained King Kodama who was under the sharp spotlight of his son.

"Dad threatened King Oda? Embarrassing," the man sneered.

"After marrying a human, Ijima will not be able to become the leader of the heavens,"

"Dad is very selfish."

"It's for your sister's benefit."

"But father harmed the other party, father harmed Ijima!" Sam's emotions can't be contained anymore.

"So you want Chriss dead because of that monster?" ask King Kodama to corner Sam.

Sam gave a frustrated snort, he didn't expect his family to do something like this.

"Did Ijima know he couldn't be the leader of the heavens?"

King Kodama shook his head, "No, if he knew I was sure Ijima would leave Chriss."

The man laughed wryly, "They've even planned to split up, dad."
