The Goddess and the Cursed Prince

The Goddess and the Cursed Prince
11. Heir

After yesterday's incident made Sam more guarded his speech. The man had forgotten that the person he doubted was a descendant of the goddess.

While Ijima did not bother about it, now if there is free time he will practice the art of war near the lake alone.

Since Chriss became ill, Ijima closed all access to Neoma. All that he did so that outsiders did not have a gap to harm the king directly.

Hosh hosh

Ijima's breathing grew irregular, sweat soaked his body, but the woman still faithfully swung the sword and magic to become more proficient.

"You know, no matter how much you practice, my martial arts will still be much better than you." She is Maki Nura, the girl is walking arrogantly towards Ijima.

"I'm not evasive about it," Ijima replied, stopping the exercise because suddenly his mood was gone.

"It's good that you understand, I wonder why the goddess Emina chose you to be the next leader? Though you are this weak," said Maki with a thunderous laugh.

Both of Ijima's hands were clenched firmly beside the body, "Underestimating a queen includes crimes. If I wanted to, I could have put you to death right now, but I'm not that bad."

Ijima stepped away leaving Maki who was upset instead of playing.

When the woman was about to enter the room, a hand prevented Ijima from entering. Ijima looked up at the head who dared to block his steps.

Chriss Kodama's.

The man stood in front of Ijima with a bandage on his body.

"Your Majesty, are you conscious? I'm sorry, I'll open the door for you."

"Where's Maki?"

Deg

Ijima's heart throbbed again, the woman was increasingly confused by her feelings, why she always felt pain if Chriss and Maki were close.

"Are you deaf? I asked where my girlfriend was?" birthday Chriss.

Ijima stared blankly at Chriss' red bead, "Near the lake," Ijima said before the woman barged into the room.

In the room, Ijima continued to notice two people near the lake from the window of the room, Ijima took off his robe to tangle.

"I think it's better, even though our marriage is not half a year old" Ijima murmured, deciding to take a nap before meeting Chriss later.

...👑...

That night, Ijima was about to meet Chriss. The woman was wearing a cherry blossom patterned white dress at the end.

"Your highness," Ijima muttered as she saw Chriss in the royal hallway.

The woman's steps stopped when she saw Maki hugging Chriss affectionately.

"I will wait for you to marry me, Chriss," said Maki, writhing spoiled in King Neoma's arms.

Chriss nodded, "After a year, I'll marry you right away."

The girl was happy not to play, she kissed Chriss' left cheek before stepping away from her lover. Tonight the girl returned to Helios because her father told her to go home.

As Maki was leaving, Ijima rounded up his resolve, stepping closer to Chriss.

"Your majesty, ki-we have to talk" said Ijima nervously.

"The kingdom's order can be discussed tomorrow, Ijima. I'm just healed anyway." Chriss turned his back to leave Ijima, but the female descendant of the goddess quickly pulled Chriss' arm to stop him.

"I'm here to talk about our relationship" said Ijima.

Chriss seemed to grunt softly, he turned his body towards Ijima, "Isn't it clear? This marriage is a form of respect for our parents."

"Yes, I-I know, but that's not what I meant."

Chriss feels something odd about Ijima's attitude, "Lantas, what?"

Ijima took a sip of hard-earned saliva, with all the courage that filled his mind, he uttered his wish aloud.

"Let's end this marriage, marry Maki's daughter, isn't she the one you love?"

"Have you thought about my position, your majesty? I bear shame, the people of Neoma even know if the king loves other women. Moreover, the woman was invited to eat with the wife."

"That's your risk, if you refuse that match, none of this will happen."

"I can't stand this risk, let's split up. I'm not asking for anything, I beg you, your majesty." Ijima even put his hands together while Chriss did not give the slightest answer.

A messenger from King Kodama came to meet Chriss.

"Sorry to interrupt your glorious time. King Kodama wants to meet with his majesty" the soldier said.

"Well, tell dad that I'll see him soon." The soldier nodded his head before resigning.

Chriss glanced back at Ijima, "We'll continue this conversation next time."

The man stepped away with the intention of meeting the King of Kodama, Ijima bent his face holding back tears that were ready to surf on the cheeks.

"I've given you a good decision, but why did you reject my decision, Your Majesty," Ijima's inner self with a hard feeling to decipher.

Upon reaching the room of King Kodama, Chriss knocked on the door three times before opening it.

"Good night, dad. What made you call me?" ask Chriss who stands behind King Kodama. The middle-aged man was staring at a large picture frame on the wall of his room.

Realizing the presence of his youngest son, King Kodama turned his head and told Chriss to sit on the bench that had been prepared without a word.

After the two of them faced each other, King Kodama did not immediately tell him his intention to call Chrisa in the room. He sipped some warm tea then looked at Chriss sharply.

"So what did you mean to call me?" chriss's birthday was impatient.

"How are you doing? It looks good even if you just realized," said Raja Kodama.

"Yes, I don't think the bomb wound was too severe" Chriss replied.

Tak

King Kodama placed the tea cup and leaned back onto the chair.

"I wanted to talk to you about this a long time ago, Chriss."

Chriss feels something strange from his father, to be honest Chriss is afraid if King Kodama asks about the royal heir.

"What talk?" ask Chriss.

"Don't pretend to be stupid, Chriss. When did you give Neoma an heir?" Yes, Chriss breathed a sigh of fury.

"Dad, I'll give Neoma the heir but not now."

"When should you, Chriss? Talk about this with Ijima," suggested King Kodama.

Chriss showed a sour face considering Ijima said she wanted to part with him.

"I'm going to have a child but not with Ijima, please I understand that" Chriss said.

King Kodama looked at his son cynically, "If not with Ijima, then with whom? Maki's? I've turned down your relationship over and over again, Chriss. But why do you keep living it."

"I love him, Maki my first love."

"Dad wants you to feel what Ijima feels, Ijima lost her first love because of you, Chriss."

Chriss nodded, unwillingly he had to obey his father's words even though he was a king now, King Kodama or Sam could overthrow him at any time.

"I'll try to talk to Ijima about this," resigned Chriss, he hopes Ijima can understand the current situation and postpone the separation until he gave birth to the heir to the throne Neoma.

After her dealings with King Kodama were over, Chriss walked out of the room then casually stepped through the royal front hallway.

"Yahoo!"

Hearing the voice of the zealous cry made Chriss stop his steps then turn his head, his pupils enlarged to see Ijima swinging the sword repeatedly forward. The moonlight that shone on the woman added to her beauty.

Chriss leaned against one of the poles, he watched Ijima closely. Chriss secretly draws a faint smile, but soon her smile fades as Ijima learns the art of war to avenge Shwan.

"What you said is true, Ijima lost her first love because of me, it's not fair if I still have fun with my first love. I also have to feel the pain of losing first love, sorry Maki, for this time I give up."
