03. Mission Success

Now that they have arrived in front of the bee cave, Tsukasa suggests dividing the task and Awldo agrees.

Ijima and Chriss stand guard outside while Awldo and Tsukasa enter the cave to search for the eternal jewel.

As soon as Awldo and Tsukasa entered, Ijima sat on one of the stones and sighed slowly while Chriss stood next to Ijima. The view of the man could not be separated from the descendants of the goddess.

"Ck, why would you want me to marry this girl? Just looking at it had upset me," Chriss growled inwardly and turned his gaze toward the abyss surrounding the cave.

"Prince, may I ask?" Chriss took a quick look.

"Please,"

"The prince is the crown prince of the Neoma kingdom, that means you are also participating in the battle with the Kingdom of Celosia, do you know Shwan's killer?"

Like being struck by lightning Chriss pecked for a moment, the look in his eyes ran back and forth looking for the right answer.

"I don't know" he replied, which made Ijima distrustful.

"Pa"

"If you keep asking about Shwan's killer I can hurt you!" upset Chriss he chose to stay away and sat leaning against the stone behind Ijima.

Ijima smiled blandly, it is very unlikely that the crown prince did not participate in the battle and did not know the victims of the opposing party who killed his troops.

"Shall I ask the King of Kodama?" batin Ijima who is still curious about his lover's killer.

Chriss' jaw hardened, to get the throne Ijima should not know it, he should not know if Shwan's killer is himself, the person who is often called the crown prince.

Suddenly a large bee appears from inside the cave after the exit of Awldo and Tsukasa. Ijima was instantly on standby just like the others.

The bee continues to spit out a liquid that can kill humans when exposed to skin.

Ijima pulled out an arrow of light, he pulled the arrow trying to aim correctly. But when the arrow was launched the bee changed its position so that Ijima's weapon missed and hit Chriss' right arm.

The man grimaced, hurriedly approaching Chriss, he tore his robe and wrapped it around Chriss' wounded arm. Bees don't waste a chance.

As he flew closer to the two, Awldo jumped straight up to the bee, knowing the creature would hurt him and Ijima. Chriss hugs Ijima's waist with his left arm and activates the protective wall so that the bee is restrained.

Awldo stuck his sword in the eyes of the three animals where the third eye was his weakness, sure enough the animal immediately collapsed.

"Thanks!" chanted someone who made Chriss remove his hand from Ijima's waist while Tsukasa hid the immortal jewel behind his cloak.

"Maki, man,"

"It turns out you've arrived, what if we work together?" bargain the new Maki arrive, followed by one by another team.

"That word doesn't exist, Tsukasa and I have been looking for it" Awldo lied.

"How is it possible, you are the first to arrive" Anya said in disbelief with both hands folded in front of the chest.

Anya's words were taken by all teams, team four chose to leave rather than make things worse.

After arriving at the academy, Ijima pulls Chriss' arm into the medical room while Awldo and Tsukasa hand the jewel to Riku.

"What are you doing?!" chirping Chriss grimaced in pain as a liquid touched his wound.

"Be quiet, prince, I am treating your wounds as I was treating my wounds" said Ijima, who was still cleaning Chriss' wounds with a special liquid made by royal healers.

"Ck, I can heal my own wounds," Chriss refused to pull his hand away, he stepped away arrogantly leaving Ijima who shook his head resignedly.

"When my intentions are good" Ijima murmured and returned the drugs to the box.

Riku gathered all his students after the mission trials were completed, looking from their faces annoyed at the failure of this trial.

"Good work for the group of four because it has done a good mission test," Riku praised and then he gave a brief applause.

Just as Awldo was about to jump the tree branch, Ijima held the man's burly arm.

"There's something I want to ask you, Awldo," said Ijima, beside the girl standing Anya with a lazy look.

"What do you want to ask, princess?" reply Cold Awldo.

"Who are you, why are you using the name of King Nakamura?" tanya Ijima made sure.

Awldo seemed to sigh, "As you know, princess. I'm the adopted son of King Nakamura and Shwan Nakamura's foster brother." After answering Ijima's question, the man left without saluting him.

"He was very disrespectful, Ijima," Anya grumbled, apparently disliking the hunter.

"We should go home, you want to stop by the kingdom?" tawar Ijima is possessed by Anya.

In the Neoma kingdom, Chriss met King Kodama with a difficult look to interpret, he opened his father's work space hard.

Brakes.

King Kodama who already knows who came just grieving quietly.

"What are you doing here, Chriss?"

"I want to make a pact with my father" Chriss said, sitting in front of King Kodama.

King Kodama who initially wrote a report suddenly stopped his activities, bead the man's eyes staring intently at his youngest child.

"What kind of deal?"

"Dad wanted me to marry Ijima, didn't he? I want you to hide the truth that I killed her boyfriend, Shwan. Because I'm sure one day he'll ask Dad, '" Chriss said.

"So you want your father to keep his mouth shut?"

Chriss nodded, he crossed his legs, "If you don't want to, forget about the marriage, I will still marry Maki and take the throne by force."

King Kodama laughed, "How insolent are you Chriss? You even threatened your father, alright if I will agree to this agreement." He took a blank sheet of paper and wrote a deal with a pen made of peacock feather, after which King Kodama finished asking Chriss to sign the paper. Once the two had agreed King Kodama gave a royal stamp indicating the treaty should not be broken.

"Good." Chriss got up from his seat and walked away from the room without saying goodbye. King Kodama only snorted resignedly because Chriss was similar to him when he was young.

Chriss walks to meet Maki who is waiting for him at the royal court. The girl looked bored as she waited too long for her lover.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Maki," said Chriss softly and sat down next to Maki.

Maki nodded, "What's wrong, what's your purpose in meeting the noble one?"

"Making a covenant," he answered briefly, he looked up at the blue sky.

Maki fused clueless eyebrows, "A pact? For what, will there be another war?"

"No, Maki listen to me, next month I'm going to marry Ijima,"

The girl was surprised, looking from the dilated pupils of her eyes, "Why are you that old?! You said you'd marry me, Chriss."

"I was forced to accept my father's request, I would not have given me the throne if I had not married the daughter of the kingdom of Asteria" Chriss said, holding Maki's hand.

"Then what about me? Are you gonna dump me?"

"Of course not, I will make you my queen if I succeed in getting the throne" Chriss said.

"Why should Ijima be married to you! Why not just me!" upset Maki, the girl feels that King Kodama is so demeaning to her.

Maki Nura is the princess of the kingdom of Helios, the kingdom does not have many alliances so if the war always fails, but even so Maki is good at playing the sword it is what makes Chriss interested in Maki.

Chriss clasps Maki briefly, calming the girl down, he reminds Maki not to be too envious of Ijima.

"How I'm not envious, the girl just came and got you straight away, while I've been by your side never glimpsed by your father."
