The Friend Yang Kunikahi
44. Anxiety Ahead of Childbirth

“Le, anterin me to Mama's house first yes, or I take a taxi?” said Luna when out of the room, already Neat with pregnant dres with knee-length colored toska, a small sling bag in white in line with her platshoes.

“Yuk departs, I have permission for Dad to enter a little afternoon,” Leo said as he reached out ready to hold the hand of his beautiful wife.

Last night Lukman called and reported that Sari was sick, obviously it made Luna who incidentally a child worried even though Vishnu said that Sari's pain was only because of soy sauce.

“Yang..”.

“It's not really consistent if you call me, sometimes Leo, sometimes Yang. Of course you want to call me by what name,” said Leo grumbled.

Luna chuckles amusedly. “I ‘call it depending on mood, Le.”

Leo rolled his eyes lazily and refocused on the road that the red light had now turned green.

Leo got off first when he finished parking the car and turned off the engine, ran a little towards the side door and helped his wife to get out. Luna's distended stomach is a little limiting the movements of the beautiful woman, but so far Leo has never heard a complaint from his wife unless it feels uncomfortable and asks for a swab.

As she was about to enter her parents' room, Luna and Leo were on a promenade with Lukman who seemed to be returning from the kitchen as seen from a tray filled with a bowl of porridge and a glass of water he was carrying.

“You guys just came?” Leo and Luna simultaneously nodded. When she entered the main room and was seen on the big bed, Sari was lying with a pale face that was lethargic, Luna immediately approached the mother and hugged her affectionately.

“Mama hurts what? Already to the doctor?” asked Luna while touching Sari's forehead and neck to check the body temperature of her favorite woman.

“Mommy's been checked by the doctor last night, Lun and the doctor said Mama was just ayah soybean,” replied Sari with a weak tone of voice, trying to display a smile to convince the child just wayang.

“Everything Mama just shut up, don't take care of this. Papa also justin aja, do not need Mama urusin,” said Luna while giving delikan to Lukman who sat on the side of the bed on the right where Sari lay.

“Yes, where can Mama not take care of Papa try, if later he even find a new wife emang you want to have a stepmom?” quickly Luna shook her head and shuddered in horror.

“Awas aja if until Papa married again, Luna will not hesitate to throw Papa to the well,” kind of sharp Luna.

“Partially who would want to marry again, just carelessly you tuh if you talk,” protest Lukman no less sharp.

“Yes, aja nyari young leaves, what else see Mama sick gini,” said weak Sari with a little smile.

Leo watched as Lukman took care of his sick wife, so carefully, patience and compassion make Leo remember both his parents and clearly in his heart he hopes to be the head of a great family like his father and father-in-law. Become a great parent like them for their child later.

“Pa, Ma Leo can not be long, have to go to the office because there will be meetings after this,” said Leo carefully, honestly he is not good to go, so he was not happy to go, but how else his responsibilities in the office can not be left.

“Ya you have left aja, Le, the right work to be a successful entrepreneur like your father,” said Lukman understanding. Sari only nodded weakly in response while Luna got off the bed and approached her husband.

“Yuk, I deliver until the front,” said Luna wrapped her hands around her husband's waist. Leo nodded lightly while smiling.

After greeting her two in-laws Leo and Luna out of Sari's room and walking together towards the front porch. “I go to work first yes, you are fine here, later I pick up after work. Remember to be careful and do not forget to eat,” Leo. “Baby don't fuss and make your Mami trouble yes, Papi left for work first.”

Smacking Luna's forehead as well as her new wife's distended stomach Leo got into the car and drove her away from the yard of Lukman-Sari's house. Luna waved her hand until the car that Leo was driving was lost behind the gate that returned the security guard closed.

Luna went back to Sari's room which had just finished taking the medicine given by Lukman. Back sitting on the side of the mattress on the left, Luna also laid her body beside the Mama, hugging her beloved woman spoiled and full of longing. Although Susdah has a husband and soon the child has children but still the soul of the children will never be lost what else if it is beside the mother.

“Papa not in the hug as well nih,” goda Lukman pretended to sulk.

“This Papa bobo beside Luna. Luna sleeps with you,” said Luna while patting the empty mattress. Lukman said he slept sideways facing his son who was lying on his back with a large protruding belly.

“Ma, what childbirth is pain?” with eyes staring at the ceiling of the room, Luna asked the mother. “Luna is afraid Ma, many people say that giving birth feels like being on the edge of death, Is it true?” continued Luna, this time looking at the mother who also slept sideways facing him.

Smiling softly Sari stroked her daughter's cheeks. “Birth does hurt, but only at the beginning, because after the cry of the baby you gave birth to is heard then the pain paid off, changed with a sense of hilarity and happiness. Mama used to say the same thing as you, fear before labor, but thanks to Papa you who always accompany and provide support makes Mama finally able to fight that fear.”

Sari smiled soothingly, gently squeezing her child's cold fingers, giving her a little strength so that the fear could be eliminated. It is natural to feel the fear of postpartum because no matter how life becomes a gamble. Sari quite understand with the fear felt by her son because this is indeed the first experience of his son.

Two weeks is not a long time and it makes Luna anxious also afraid ahead of her delivery later. Even though Leo had promised that the man would always be there to accompany him in the delivery room later, but still the fear did not disappear from his mind. Out of nowhere the onset of fear when the doctor said that the content is fine as well as his condition was in good and normal condition.

Often Luna asked in her heart, would all pregnant women feel the same anxiety as her? But knowing Lyra when she was about to give birth to Rapa some time ago, Luna felt that her best friend was calm and did not look anxious or frightened.

“Do not think too much, Lun will even make your content tense and it can be dangerous for your fetus. Remember that pregnant women should not stress anything else before delivery.”

Luna took a breath and slowly threw it away, smiling and hugging her. Her mother was right, she should not be stressed and think too much about it, because all she has to do now is calm down and pray that it will be launched until delivery later.
