The Friend Yang Kunikahi

The Friend Yang Kunikahi
20. The Deleted Miss

The fatigue that Leo initially felt due to jatlag in fact no longer felt when he got home and met the wife who so missed him that he also missed him even though for some time days apart and just exchanging news over the phone or a short message, Luna always dodged if she asked even the woman always showed a flat face when making video calls and always nagged when she floated temptation.

He used to think that marrying his own best friend would feel strange, but it turns out this actually pleases Leo to thank him now. As his mother once said that love will come with time and Leo feels that, plus the previous status is a friend so, it is not difficult to fall in love with Luna, Luna, the woman who is now his wife. Since they were close, a lot of time spent together even though not always together, but after marriage now Leo only realized about his feelings that may have been around for a long time, but he didn't realize.

The clock had already shown at five in the morning but Luna and Leo continued not to sleep and just sat on the mattress leaning on the head of the bed while hugging each other, let go of the longing by telling each other about the time they spent nearly ten days without each other.

Leo was obviously happy when he found out and heard from his wife how much she missed him. His heart seemed to tingle with thousands of butterflies and a warm stream flowed smoothly. Now there is no more awkwardness no longer even jaim-jaim or shy to admit. Luna, his wife can open up and express her feelings, of course it makes Leo jumped happy. And hearing that made his longing that for these few days he had withstood.

Maybe the words that state that ‘ will feel when there is no’ are true because Leo and Luna feel that. Togetherness is indeed to cultivate a sense but the true departure is indeed to realize the feeling itself and when rediscovered then the relationship will be more beautiful, the relationship will be established, without anything else covered up and make a pair of people closer.

“Daddy said we will move to a new house after you come home, means today we directly moved dong?” Luna started talking about their move. She could feel that her husband was nodding.

“Now as it is, don't know tomorrow,”

“But if now we are still new cape home,” said Luna a little worried.

Leo smiled gently, peeping his wife's forehead briefly. “It's okay because I'm tired of missing as soon as you see.”

“Ish, dreadlocks!” Luna hit her husband's field softly. Leo chuckled and stroked his wife's hair gently.

The sun gradually began to show itself, making Luna and Leo realize that the day had begun to move. The bias penetrated the gaps of the curtains but even so the cold still both felt.

Luna broke away from Leo's embrace, sat up straight and grabbed the hairband on the nightstand, collecting his brownish hair into one and then he tied it up just to make a few strands of his hair out but Leo admitted that his wife looks beautiful at this time.

“Where are you going?”

Luna who had just landed her feet on the floor turned to Leo who was looking at her with raised eyebrows. “Mau make breakfast for you.”

Leo, who heard that, came down from the bed, opened the curtains and window and followed Luna to the bathroom to wash her face and also brush her teeth after that out of the room walking towards the kitchen. the house is still quiet and they know that both parents are still sleeping, there is only Aunt who became ART in this house who is cleaning.

“You in masakin what?” Luna turned to her tailing husband when she reached the kitchen.

“Emang can you cook?”

No longer asking for her husband's wishes, Luna started cutting onions, vegetables and some other ingredients while Leo told her to wash the rice. Although while washing the rice Leo still pay attention to his wife who deftly swings a knife, cutting all the ingredients needed for his cooking. Not feeling his smile expand, watching it.

Finished washing and cooking rice, Leo sat at the dinner table still watching his wife who was seriously struggling with kitchen utensils in front of the stove. Not long Vishnu and Melinda also joined to sit with Leo. The middle-aged man was neat with his work stellan while Melinda still used her simple-looking home negligee.

“There are people you can help me with, son?”

Luna who heard the voice turned her head and gave her sweet smile to her two in-laws. “No need Mother, soon also finished kok.”

Melinda smiled at him but got up and took a cup to make her husband coffee and vanilla milk for his son and son-in-law and mint tea for himself.

One by one the breakfast menu is served at the dining table ranging from sauteed kale, scrambled eggs, chickpeas, and sweet spicy squid and it all certainly makes the three people sitting there tempted by the fragrant smell of the cuisine. Leo's family has always been accustomed to eating rice breakfast, it's because Melinda who likes to cook since young.

It is better to have breakfast with rice and side dishes, is it not, than breakfast with bread that is only filling for a few moments? Luna sat down next to her husband and poured rice and side dishes for the husband and after that she drained for herself.

“Enak,” praise Vishnu devoured his food with a fluffy smile, not much different from Melinda who also praised the cuisine of his daughter-in-law.

“Ck. Ordinary,” said Leo in the middle of his chew. Luna pouted hearing that.

“So usual but how could it eat it?” cibir Vishnu belied lazily.

“Because of hunger, Yah hence voraciously.”

“Ck, reason!”

Luna gawked whenever her husband asked her to add rice and side dishes to Leo's plate. In her heart clearly Luna sneered but even so she still commented on the smile and gave what her husband wanted. She is happy her husband and also in-laws love her cooking.

Leo ate so voraciously even up to three times the man asked to be steadfast even the rest of the side dishes were Leo greedy to run out even though his stomach was full, make everything at the dinner table shake your head. Luna since High School had already known that the man did eat a lot so it was no wonder anymore.

“Say it's normal, but the plate until it's shiny like you jilatin, Le,” again the sneer Vishnu gave, and Leo responded with an innocent whimper.

“Sweetie if thrown away, Yah.”
