The End for Them

The next day, Felisya visited the room occupied by Elena. He wanted to know what their condition was like after a few days in the palace.

Tok tok tok tok

"Hello, my little girl," said Felisya who opened the door enthusiastically.

"Considerate, hello, sis." Elena replied in a hoarse voice. While Hotaru was only speechless with a pale face.

Felisya frowned, "What happened to them?" ask her while turning her eyes to Evelyn.

"I don't know. Ever since I woke up, they've been like this. I tried to recover them, but it was useless," Evelyn replied while putting on a helpless expression.

Felisya smirked faintly, "Then, I'll call the healer."

Without waiting for a reply, Princess Felisya immediately informed her father as well as Prince Ferdian. Then, they returned to Elena's room with a healer.

The doctor checked Elena and Hotaru's pulse. The atmosphere was silent for a while.

"What's their condition? ask King.

The physician shook his head, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty. Their circumstances are very strange. I didn't find anything problematic on them."

Evelyn clasped the collar of the physician's shirt, "Then, why do they look like the undead?!" he snapped at not accepting it with an unreasonable answer from her.

"Auntie, enough.." - Hotaru.

"I don't know, Queen. Please forgive me for this lowly. I will try my best to treat them" said the Physician, looking down.

"If anything happens to my girl, you'll suffer the consequences!" reply Ferdian while staring intently at the Physician.

Hotaru immediately held onto Elena's trembling hand as it held back the emotions over Prince Ferdian's words that really made her blood rise.

"Then, I.excuse me." said the Physician who immediately fled from the room.

"Cih, watch out." murmured Ferdian. Then, he looked at Elena who was limp.

Ferdian stroked Elena's hair slowly, "I hope you improve, my dear," she said with a gentle smile.

Elena looked at him sharply, "Stop saying that, Prince."

Evelyn releases Ferdian's hand from Elena. Then, he looked at King and Princess Felisya "I suggest you guys get out of this room and let them rest. I'll stay here to look after them." she said as she exorcised Father and son gently.

They stared at Evelyn intently as if trying to intimidate her. While the ones in the face were only calm and returned their gazes emotionlessly. Eventually, they were forced to leave the room.

Elena flicked her finger to make a barrier. Instantly, those in the room breathed a sigh of relief.

Evelyn groped her pounding heart, "Fuhh, finally calmed down as well. I told you this plan was too risky, Elena."

"What matters is that we made it, right?" elena asked casually.

"Yes, but it's...."

Hotaru chuckled, "If they don't, they'll realize that we're not ordinary humans, Auntie."

"Aunt Eve, please step back for a while" said Elena who was nodding back by Evelyn.

Elena made a complicated move on her hand. A white flame appeared that burned some spell symbols around his body and Hotaru. Evelyn was shocked when she saw Elena's hair change. After a while, the fire disappeared along with Elena's eyes that opened.

"Huhh, finally finished also—Eh? Aunt Eve, what's with your gaze?" Elena was astonished when Evelyn was sculpting in shock.

Hotaru turned to Elena, "Let's see your hair."

Elena held the end of her hair, "Ah, it turns out so." Then, he changed it to black.

"What are you really?" evelyn asked after a while.

"Hehehe, I'm human. More precisely, it was mixed-blooded," Elena replied with a small laugh.

Evelyn frowned, "But, I've never seen a hybrid race that can change its appearance without potions or with spells" she replied.

Hotaru looked at Evelyn with a faint smile, "Elena is different from the other immortal beings, Auntie. So, no wonder he can do it," he explained. Evelyn understood his point.

"Auntie, what do you think of the people in this kingdom?" ask Elena.

Evelyn smiled wryly, "Just like the leader. Greedy and heartless."

Elena thought for a moment. Then he made a bird out of spell paper.

"Examine them. Do it fast." The bird received his orders and flew away quickly.

Afterwards he looked at Hotaru and Evelyn who were amazed by him. Elena cleared her throat, "Before we make any new plans, I want to ask Aunt Eve about Princess Felisya and Uncle Alaric's wedding."

"Same as in general. It's just, it's more luxurious because of the royal family's wedding. But...."

"Not so long ago, I saw some black magicians coming here. I'm sure they'll do something to Alaric. I think it's related to the spell that's on your body" Evelyn explained.

Elena smiled faintly, "Middle-level soul controlling spell."

"W-what? How's that possible?!" Evelyn was shocked to hear Elena's words.

"It was a spell that was put on when I was summoned by him. This is just my opinion, but the spell is like a disease that can be transmitted to others. It seems, she also wants to control Hotaru through me," explained Elena with a complicated expression.

"Then, why didn't anything happen to me?" ask Evelyn.

"I don't know either. Besides, if I hadn't done anything to Hotaru before, she'd have bowed and I'd have a hard time stopping her" Elena explained as she turned to Hotaru.

"So that's why you.." Hotaru's words stopped as Elena blinked her eyes.

"Since the situation has already started to get serious, I will make a plan. Aunt Eve, find any information about the origins of this ritual. Then, you should attend their wedding and behave as usual. Hotaru, release Uncle Alaric while they're gathering in the hall. I'll stay here and prepare for the crazy man's arrival" Elena said.

Hotaru looked at Elena with horror, "How can we leave you alone?!"

Evelyn let out a heavy sigh, "This is the only way, Hotaru" she said resignedly.

"Auntie, why are you...."

"Hotaru.." reprimanded Elena who made him speechless.

"I know you're worried about him. But, this is an opportunity to find out more information. Besides, the target was Elena. He'll kill you if you're there. You understand what I mean, right?" Evelyn tried to give Hotaru some understanding.

"Alright then," said Hotaru while looking down lethargic. Elena stroked Hotaru's head to comfort him.

Some time later, the paper bird Elena made came back and gave the report she needed. After being added to the information from Aunt Evelyn, Elena decided to flatten the kingdom to its roots.

Later, Hotaru and Aunt Evelyn went to their respective places as planned. While Elena trained her strength with Liu inside the space ring. Liu initially forbade it, because practicing in a soul form was much more dangerous. But, Elena insisted and finally she was forced to agree to it.

When Elena had trained enough, she woke up and sharpened her hearing.

"Hm, it looks like it's ready" Elena muttered. Then, he contacted them through thought.

"Hotaru, what about your mission?" mindlink.

"I managed to secure it. In addition, Aunt Evelyn helped me to change the face of others exactly the same as Mr. Alaric. So, everything went well," replied Hotaru.

"Aunt Eve..?"

"Don't worry, honey. They had not known that Alaric who was with Princess Felisya was a fake. You'd better be prepared, because Prince Ferdian's been out of here secretly" Evelyn replied.

"Sister Liu."

"Yes?" asked Liu who came out of the space ring.

"Save the people who are their victims. I can count on you, can't I?" elena asked back while looking at him with a gentle smile.

Liu nodded, "Of course. Then I'll go first" He's gone.

Elena gasped when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. He also pretended to be asleep. Then, Prince Ferdian walked into the room and looked at Elena with his big smile.

"I'm sorry, I was forced to do this because it was you who always rejected me" Ferdian said as he groped Elena's face.

After that, she changed Elena's position to sit by turning her back to the moonlight that entered her room. Ferdian cast a spell and Elena's body was bound with a black red thread. Feeling that it had worked, he brought his face closer to the girl's neck. A moment of white-colored flame shot out from Elena's body which made Prince Ferdian jump backwards.

Elena opened her eyes slowly, "Heh, dare also you want to have me forcibly. It defies destiny, Prince Ferdian," he said with a faint smile.

"W-what..? How could you—" Ferdian was wide-eyed at the sight of Elena's drastically changed appearance.

"You...are not human?"

Elena laughed softly, "True and also wrong. Guess what with your clever brain." The thread was burning because of the fire around his body.

Ferdian looked at him sharply, "You....A fraud!" he nodded with anger.

"Blame yourself so arbitrarily to weaker beings, especially humans," Elena who smiled cynically at the reaction from Ferdian.

Ferdian was transfixed to see Elena's body illuminated by the moonlight. Instantly he recalled the words he had heard from someone who visited his father many years ago.

The Flashback

"Master, our kingdom is weakening. We hope you're willing to help."

"Alright, on condition that you find a white-haired girl who shines with an unusual aura. Then, spread out the spell I will tell you to prevent your people from dying from consuming blood. But, it depends on their efforts."

The king knelt before the cloaked man, "Thank you very much, sir. I'll do your orders."

Some time later, he set a trap so that humans can enter his territory. Within a short time, reports of vampire deaths in his kingdom had dwindled.

But, he was getting more agitated as it was very difficult to find the girl that his savior was referring to. Luckily the cloaked man was not angry and gave some black magicians to help him.

Flashback Off

"Maybe you're the one she's always been looking for?" ferdian Gumam.

Elena frowned, "What do you mean?"

Ferdian grinned, "Ha..Hahaha, I finally found you!" he said while laughing madly.

"In that case, I won't hold back!"

Ferdian started attacking with his long claws. Elena repelled her attack with both daggers she let out and counterattacked. They continued to attack until Ferdian finally cast black magic. Elena teleported and managed to dodge her attack.

"This power.....!"

Just as Ferdian was about to attack, Elena threw her dagger that had been given the ancient spell paper and managed to stick it in both hands.

"AARGHHHH!!! BASIC JAL*NG!"

"You...!!!"

"Where did you learn black magic?" elena asked coldly.

"Haha! Of course from our savior! He is the one who is always looking for you!" replied Ferdian who was already unable to control his words.

"What do you mean?"

"Your hair is the hallmark of the person she's always been looking for!"

"I'm sure there are still a lot of people who have hair like me. Why would he bother looking for her?"

"You think that's all? Huh, you little boy!"

Elena pressed the dagger on her leg, "Reply answer and don't test my patience" she said in a low voice.

Ferdian cried out in pain, "At that time.me.only heard...white hair..and the moon..uhuk-uhuk," he replied stammeringly.

Elena felt that a lightning bolt had struck her upon hearing Ferdian's words. Then, he burned the young man to nothing. After trying to strengthen himself, he put on a robe and mask and went out of the palace.

Then, he made a strong barrier and covered the entire part of the kingdom. Liu appears and tells Elena that the victims have been taken to the space ring in a state of unconsciousness.

"What about their master?" ask Elena

"Vampires outside the palace are not many, so it doesn't take long to eradicate them" Liu replied.

"Alright, let me continue it," Liu sighed violently and disappeared.

Elena let out a large number of fire meteors to make the vampires who were partying immediately panicked trying to save themselves. As if getting a signal, Hotaru and Evelyn immediately approached him.

"Elena," call them.

"Thank you for your help. Leave the rest to me."

King and Princess Felisya came out to see the cause of the explosion along with several people. They saw three people in their robes. One of them was carrying a fainted man.

The king glared sharply at them, "What did you guys do to my kingdom?!!" he nodded with anger.

"You don't have to ask something you've seen, do you?" ask Elena back.

"Why did you do it? What mistakes have we made?!" felisya shouted.

Elena laughed cynically, "Trapping the humans, sucking their blood to the ground, then throwing them away like trash. Was that not a mistake?"

"There's no way he's doing it!" reply fake Alaric.

"Hey, xmasoon*n. You're just Alpha Alaric's replacement. Don't take yourself high" said Hotaru coldly.

Evelyn who was under her cloak just shook her head, "Huh, it's a waste that I helped you."

False Alaric flinched, "You....Could it be that—" her remark was cut off because Elena threw a dagger at her head. His real face was visible and made them shock.

"Imust be!"

Princess Felisya stared at them intently, "Where is the real Alaric?!"

The king pointed to the man Hotaru had brought, "Felisya, look...."

Felisya looked up at the figure, "Give her back to me!"

"It's very noisy." Elena muttered.

The king clenched his hands tightly and coded the magician he had brought to attack them. Instantly, the witches immediately surrounded them. Princess Felisya and her father try to escape. Unfortunately, Elena made a barrier to lock up the father and son.

"Hehhhh, a king took refuge behind his men. What a shame" Hotaru chimed in with a mocking smile.

The king hit the barrier, "Take us off!" He tried to destroy it but could not.

Evelyn chuckled, "It's just fine if you don't have any strength and just rely on your cunning."

"Master, please set us free."

"Sorry, but we can't just let go of our master's target. Am I right, Princess Selena?"

Elena grinned behind her mask, "Ooh? You're smart, too."

"You better come with us or—"

"Or what hm? Do the same as what your master has done?" The black aura emanating from within his body made it difficult for them to breathe including Hotaru and Evelyn who were trembling violently.

The witches tried to contact their master. Unfortunately, the barrier Elena created could block their connection with the outside world.

Elena who saw a surprised face they couldn't help but laugh, "Hahaha, why? Can't call your master, can you? What a pity," he said.

Those who were infuriated by Elena's actions immediately attacked the two people who were by her side. He instantly made a shield to protect Hotaru and Evelyn. The clash of their energies made the hood of Elena's robe come off and her white hair was visible.

"Elena, your cape..."

"It's okay, Auntie. They already know my identity" Elena took off her mask.

The witches set up a formation to summon their spiritual beasts and give orders to attack Elena. They consisted of the pair of Yin and Yang Dragons, Golden Tigers, as well as the blackish-blue Snake. The animals trembled when they saw their target and immediately kowtowed at him.

"Miss...."

"E-uh? What's the matter?"

They looked at Elena and instantly she was inside the spiritual realm. Elena was surprised to see the condition of their human body that was different from the form in the outside world.

"Miss.." said the serpent.

"Why did you bring me here?" ask Elena.

"Please free us from their clutches. We've been greatly tormented for being controlled by the dark forces they gained through that person" replied the Golden Tiger.

"It's not just that. He is the one who made us have to separate from our infant son," the Yin Dragon replied while looking down miserably.

Dragon Yang embraced his wife and looked at Elena, "We are willing to obey any orders you make after being freed from them."

Elena sighed harshly, "I'll help you guys. So, there's no need to behave like that."

The surrounding scenery changed as before. The spiritual beasts turned into a ball of light and approached Elena. The witches were angry because they were more subservient to the little girl than to her master. They were put by Elena into her space ring.

"Return them!"

A cold smile was imprinted on the girl's face, "Just try."

Evelyn looked at him anxiously, "Be careful, their dark powers are getting stronger."

Elena nodded, "Please take care of Hotaru, Auntie" he said. Hotaru who wanted to help him was immediately detained by Evelyn.

"Why, Bi?"

Evelyn shook her head resignedly, "All we can do is pray for Elena's safety."

The witches who felt it impossible to win against the girl immediately turned their forms into terrifying monsters. Elena stared at their changes with a terrifying smile.

The black aura on his body made the surrounding circumstances extremely gripping.

"When to party..."

The foolish king and his daughter stared at his kingdom which was destroyed by their attack. A wave of searing flames, thunderous flashes of lightning, and a violent earthquake sent the vampire's home submerged in the sea of flames Elena had made.

Evelyn shut her mouth seeing the effects of that terrifying attack. Only Hotaru noticed Elena's eyes turning vertical yellow without any color. The moment he opened his mouth, those white and sharp fangs made him look even more ruthless.

Eventually Hotaru finds out that Elena is on a rampage so she can't control herself. Not long after, the monsters fell down with bodies that were already covered in blood. Some even lost parts of their bodies.

Elena approached them with a grin that could give anyone goosebumps, "Ahhh, is this all your strength? It's disappointing."

"You.the devil..."

"Hahahaha, thank you for the compliment."

"There's a last word?"

"Sir.will.kill you."

Elena slashed the remaining witch's head, "I'll wait."

Princess Felisya and her father trembled violently as she approached them. Elena smiled obliquely enjoying their fear which made her very amused.

"Why do you see me like that? It's me, Uncle, Brother Feli," he said in a soft, contrived voice.

"You...Yue?" ask Felisya.

The king glared angrily at him, "So you fooled all of us?! What's your goal?!"

"Hehehe, because you're going to die so I'm telling you."

"I was originally here because of someone's request. Who knows if you have a lot of interesting things including those witches."

"Then..." Elena's face cooled down, "Who helped you?"

The aura he had made the King kneel down, "A-I ha-just know that he is the subordinate of that person. I don't know his name."

"Ah, that's so." said Elena.

Princess Felisya remembered her brother, "Where is Brother Ferdi?"

"He's dead." Elena replied by pressing the last word.

"How dare you! I'll take your parents' place to teach you a lesson!" Felisya was about to slap him who ended up with his head cut off by Elena's sword.

"Faithim!!!!" raung King.

Elena looked at the corpse that had become ashes coldly, "Don't equate yourself with them!"

The king went on a rampage and wanted to take an oath. Unfortunately, Elena stabbed her sword through the man's neck. Then, he made a small ball of light that absorbed into the ground. Then, Elena teleported to a considerable distance away from the barrier that covered the kingdom by carrying the others.

There was an explosion that destroyed the barrier and destroyed the entire place. Hotaru and Aunt Evelyn came out after Elena removed her shield. The rain fell to quell the rest of the explosion he made.

Hotaru handed Alaric over to Aunt Evelyn who almost protested if she didn't see the situation. Then, he hugged Elena who was staring at the sky blankly, "Enough, Elena. It's all done. Go back to your previous self."

The negative aura that enveloped his body disappeared slowly and he returned to his normal state. Elena smiled softly, "You're right. Thank you, Hotaru.
