The sun shows its light in between the curtains of the room they occupy. Elena and Hotaru prepare themselves for what will happen next. Liu warned them not to be careless and cautious. Afterwards, he returned to the space ring.

Tok tok tok tok

"Good morning, sweet girl," said Felisya cheerfully.

"Morning, sis." Elena replied.

"Hello" said Hotaru.

"Today my family will have breakfast together. You guys wanna come?" asked Felisya with her trademark smile.

"Of course, sis." Elena replied enthusiastically.

"Hehe, let's go" Felisya said as he ran.

Elena and Hotaru stared at each other, then they nodded and caught up with Felisya.

Arriving at the royal family's dining room, they saw the King in his great clothes, the Queen who looked elegant, and the Prince with his big smile. Then they were invited to sit down by the King.

"Oh? So these are the ones you're telling me about, Feli?" ask King.

"Sure, Father," replied Felisya.

"Welcome to our kingdom, son. I've heard about you guys getting lost here. Please forgive my men who want to attack you" said the King.

"It's okay, Your Honor. I thank her for saving us from them" Elena replied as she looked at Felisya with a sweet smile.

"Hahaha, there's no need to be formal, son. Let's just say we're your family, huh?" ask King.

"Uhm, okay. Uncle," Elena replied awkwardly.

The queen clapped her hands once, "Alright, it's time to eat" he said.

They started their breakfast quietly. But, on the sidelines of the activity, the Prince always looked at Elena with strangely shiny eyes. Hotaru who saw him really wanted to pierce the eyes of that perverted young man with the fork he was holding. Elena who noticed it immediately coded Hotaru to calm down.

After finishing breakfast, they moved to the royal hall letting the servants tidy up the dining table.

"Thank you for the food" Elena said.

The queen smiled gently, "No need to thank, dear. I'm glad you guys ate a lot in the infancy. I hope you can return safely," his voice shrank in the last sentence.

Elena and Hotaru who heard him directly stared at each other, "What does it mean to say that?" inwardly they both.

"What's your name, pretty girl?" asked the prince with a seductive look at Elena.

"I—"

"Yue and Liu," Hotaru replied that cut off Elena's words.

"Beautiful name, like the man."

The Queen cleared her throat, "Please keep your modesty in front of our guest, Crown Prince."

The prince threw his face away, "Shy, shitty!"

"Uhm, why are there so many servants in this hall? Is there a party?" elena asked who was staring at the servants like she was busy decorating something.

"My daughter will soon marry the handsome man of her choice. Unfortunately, her future husband is still shy. Because the distance we had with him was quite far, so we brought him here" explained the King.

Felisya lowered her head, "Dad, don't tease me." she replied with a blushing face.

Elena grinned thinly, "Oh, so. I wondered who the man who could be side by side with a princess as beautiful as him" he said, turning to Felisya.

"Hehe, you can see it later, Yue," Felisya replied with an awkward laugh.

"Feli, take our guests around so they don't get lost here" the Queen said.

"I'm coming" said the Prince who had woken up first.

"All right, I'll allow it" replied the king.

The prince stretched out his hand, "Come, sweet. We're leaving now." she said with a charming smile to Elena.

Elena ignored him and pulled Hotaru, "Sister Feli, come with us quickly."

The King and Felisya laughed at the Prince who was rejected by the little girl. Only the Queen, who looked at Elena and Hotaru worriedly, "I hope you're okay, son."

Afterwards Felisya took them around. He explained everything enthusiastically. Elena only smiled faintly which did not reach her eyes. While Hotaru refrained from being rash.

"Sister, can I know who is sister's bride?" ask Elena.

"Why do you want to know?" felisya asked back while looking at him suspiciously.

Elena put on a sad face, "Uh, I would like to know how handsome a man can marry this beautiful sister. Can't ya?" Elena lowered her head.

"E-eh, no really. Ahem, of course you can," replied Felisya who was confused about how to calm a child.

"Name Alaric. He was a charismatic and charming leader. I fell in love with her during our meeting. Her smile was so soft as she looked at me. I knew he must have liked me, it was just that he was shy so dad brought him here" she explained confidently.

"Well, that's really cool, brother," said Elena with a very thin grin.

"Hehe, is that it?" ask Felisha who blushed.

"Surely sa—" Elena's speech was cut off because it suddenly disappeared.

"Yue?!"

They searched for Elena around the park, but unfortunately she was not found. While on the other hand, Elena was intercepted by the vampire Prince.

"Lord Prince, what are you doing?" ask Elena flat.

"I just want to meet the little girl who has taken my heart. Am I wrong?" ask the Prince back.

Elena sighed harshly, "Of course, wrong. In terms of social and heredity is very different. More importantly, I am still a child, Prince," he replied coldly.

"Call me Ferdian, sweet girl" said the prince, stroking Elena's face.

Elena brushed off his hand, "Side!"

Ferdian smirked, "How can I leave that adorable little girl alone here, hm?" ask her seductively.

"I live in a remote village. I am used to danger. Now, go and don't bother me!" elena snapped because she was fed up with Ferdian's behavior.

"Hehe, this is the first time I've been rejected. Should I make you my blood slave?" asked Ferdian while looking at Elena intently.

"Blood slave?" inner Elena.

"What do you mean?"

Ferdian's grin grew wider displaying both fangs, "I mean is...It's!" he answered while bringing his face closer to the girl's neck.

Elena directly thrust a silver needle into Ferdian which made him collapse. Afterwards, he devised several schemes so that no one would suspect him.

"Heh, you think I'll let you? How naive!" whispered with a cold look.

"yeah! Where're you?" felisya shouted.

"I'm here brother!" elena replied as she waved her hand with a face that was already wet with tears.

They approached Elena, "Where have you been, Yue? Uh...Brother Ferdi?" asked the confused Felisha when she saw her sister unconscious.

Elena's tears flowed back, "So someone wanted to attack me. Suddenly, the prince's elder brother appeared and managed to kill him. After which, he instantly fainted," he said in a choked voice.

Felisya touched her brother's pulse, "It looks like he was exposed to poison. Please take care of him. I'll call the healer."

Elena nodded, "Well, sister," he said, wiping away his tears.

After Felisya left, Elena's expression instantly changed drastically. Hotaru turned to Ferdian who was still unconscious, "Heh, finally got hit too" he whispered.

"So, what'd he do?" hotaru asked with a grin.

"What do you think the bajing*n guy did like him?" elena asked slowly.

Hotaru chuckled, "Well, I can already guess. It's a pity that he offended the wrong person" he replied.

Later, Felisya appeared with a healer and a few bodyguards with him and approached them hurriedly.

"Please check my brother, healer."

The physician examined Ferdian's condition, "The prince was indeed exposed to poison as you say. But don't worry, he's still saved. I will soon bring the antidote," he explained. After that, the doctor left.

Felisya turned to her bodyguards, "Take my sister to her room. Yue and Liu, you guys are coming with me, huh?"

Elena and Hotaru nodded.

Later, Prince Ferdian was taken by several bodyguards. Princess Felisya continued to calm Elena who looked very guilty for making her brother hurt. Elena who heard the inducement from him could only nod and grin very thinly. They arrived at the prince's room.

"What's this?" ask the king who went into the room. The queen was with him too.

Felisya turned to her father, "Sister is exposed to poison, Father."

"It.my fault. Because of protecting me.the brother of the prince was injured," Elena said with a small sob.

Felisya stroked Elena's hair, "It's not your fault, Yue. Calm down, he'll be aware" he said in a soothing voice.

"Yes, son. Don't blame yourself" the king replied.

"Uhm..." Elena nodded. Then, he turned his gaze to the Queen who was looking at him elaborately.

Elena raised one eyebrow, "What's wrong with her gaze?" the inner girl.

Then, they turned their eyes towards the healer who entered the room.

"Your Majesty," said the physician who lowered his head upon seeing the King and Queen.

"How's the condition? Can he be saved?" ask King.

"Of course, my lord. I've brought the antidote for Prince Ferdian. After drinking it, he should take plenty of rest," replied the healer while carrying a medicine bowl.

The king looked at Elena who was looking down, "What if Yue had just given her the antidote?" ask her while grinning.

"Oh, that's a good idea," Felisya replied agreeing to her father's suggestion.

"I object. They have no relationship whatsoever so it's inappropriate that Miss Yue did it" the Queen explained.

The pair of father and son looked at the Queen with an aura of hostility making the atmosphere tense. Hotaru did not understand what was wrong from the Queen's remark immediately staring at Elena who was just a small nod.

The doctor cleared his throat, "Let me, Your Majesty," he said, breaking the mood.

"Please" said the King.

After giving the antidote to Prince Ferdian, the physician suggested that they give him time to rest. Then, they return to their respective places.

Right now, Hotaru was staring at Elena who was pensively staring at the sky that was visible outside the palace.

"Why do they seem to not get along with the Queen who is her own family? Besides, why is the Queen helping me? I felt her gaze was sincere as if she did not want anything to happen to us. Did something happen to this family?" inner Elena.

Hotaru pats Elena on the shoulder, "Hey, you're not usually daydreaming. What's up?"

Elena sighed, "I was just thinking about the Queen's different attitude to them."

"I feel so too. Their relationship is not as simple as we see it," retorted Hotaru who was rethinking about the vampire royal family's differences in attitude.

"We need to stay alert" Elena said.

Hotaru nodded, "True—eh? A crow?" Suddenly, a bird approached them

Elena caught the bird. Then, he saw there was a small scroll at the crow's feet. Elena who opened it was stunned by the short message written on the letter.

"What's the letter?" ask Hotaru.

"He asked us to meet him in the secret passageway. Moreover, he gave a small map of its location." Elena replied.

She flinched, "Eh...This place is not...?"

Elena immediately burned the first letter and opened the other one, "Hm, it turns out so."

"Can you tell me what's in the next letter? I can't read such small, complicated writing" said Hotaru who complained because Elena didn't tell him.

Elena grinned broadly, "Hehe, you'll know as soon as we meet her" he replied in mystery.

On the other side

"Why do you dare to argue with me?!" snapped King

The queen rubbed her flushed cheeks, "She's still a child! Besides, he's just a normal human!"

"I don't care as long as my son's interested in her."

"But, sir. She is not the fateful partner of Miss Yue."

"In that case, I'll make her like you. Become the blood slave of Prince Ferdian!"

"No, sir. I beg you." The Queen's tears trickled as she thought about what would happen to the little girl.

The king kicked him, "Shut up! Don't make me rip your fake face off!"

The queen smiled wryly, "You're the one who made it, sir.." she wrote.

Then, the King grabbed the woman's face, "Look good. Don't get in the way of my plans, including what's going to happen to that girl friend. If I knew that you were the cause, I wouldn't hesitate to finish you off!"

After that, the King left his room with overflowing anger. Although the woman who became Queen was threatened, she remained confident in her decision.

"I hope the letter gets to him without anyone knowing. Hope you're willing to help me, Miss Yue."
