Yongheng's eyes flashed furiously. Anyone who dared to hurt Feng Shang had to die!
No matter in any world, the person who dared to touch and hurt Feng Shang would not be allowed to live. Yongheng prepared to attack him with the power of a god, but his hand was immediately restrained by Feng Shang. Although his anger had not subsided, yet his gaze had not dimmed at all.
"The world belongs to man. Gods are not allowed to kill just out of annoyance" whispered Feng Shang. He knew full well the consequences for an immortal being who killed mortal man just because of his momentary lust. Many of the gods were punished in the Deepest Hell and Qiankun Tower simply for being careless and emotionally controlled to the point of hurting innocent mortal beings.
They had just come to the mortal realm with the aim of searching and capturing the shadow of the Demon King. If you are troublemaking at a time like this, the days ahead will be difficult. The human world here is different from the human world that they had studied on earth at that time. Everything is so different.
"Whoever dares to hurt you, must die!" Yongheng. His voice was stifled and a little hoarse.
"No! Don't be troublemakers or we'll be in trouble later!"
Yongheng didn't seem to care. In his mind gathered all sorts of ways to teach that brash man a lesson. His hand was already broken, but it seemed that he would not admit any wrongdoing. Yongheng did not use the power of gods, but used his physical strength as a human. He beat that fellow to a pulp without being able to be stopped by Feng Shang.
The opera people and those there were all shocked to witness Yongheng's ferocity and brutality. The man hit the man hard, beating him like a living samsak. Feng Shang repeatedly pulled Yongheng's hand and asked him to stop, but the man did not want to hear. There was an interesting attraction on that crowded night. Music players even make the fight as an additional show.
As a result, the person did not just break a hand. His body was also unable to get up and all of his bones felt crushed. Her lips were torn and her cheeks were swollen. It's possible that his head was fractured and his jaw shifted. Ever since being beaten up, that fellow had unceasingly grimaced and begged for mercy. The bodies of female opera performers were left unceremoniously, forgotten as everyone focused on the new show before them.
"Stop!" scream someone. Everyone got out of the way as several armed and uniformed security guards ran through the crowd. Their faces looked extremely fierce and frightening. Yongheng let out a breath, then patted his clothes like he was cleaning up the dust stuck. The brash person he had beaten was already sprawled on the ground unconscious.
"What are you guys doing? Fighting in a crowd is a violation of the law!" the officer said back. Yongheng did not respond. He was quite satisfied with his work.
"Both of you! Come with us to the office!"
"Wait on! He fights, why should I come?" refute Feng Shang. It's delicious, he thought.
"Miss, do you think we're stupid? Your lover fought because of you. So, you should come too!" exclaiming officer.
Feng Shang had yet to explain, but his hands were immediately tied. Yongheng is the same. The man has not spoken since. Feng Shang could not use his divine power here because this was not the right realm. If he cast magic, it would be the same as admitting the accusations of the person who had been beaten by Yongheng earlier. After all, the Celestial Empress could not arbitrarily hurt humans.
The security guards brought Feng Shang and Yongheng to the City Security Bureau. There, they were put into a prison whose bars were made of large and strong wood. Feng Shang shouted in annoyance because he thought this was unfair. The officer did not ask further about the incident and instead immediately put him in prison. The procedure should not be like this. Feng Shang felt that the laws in the human realm were very chaotic and messy.
"It's all because of you!" kettled Feng Shang at Yongheng.
"I don't care. After all, we will not die just because we are locked up here" Yongheng said. He lay on a haystack that served as a bed for the prisoners, covered in dry straw without a cloth cover and partially weathered. Around it are fragments of plates and bowls, possibly former prisoners. This room does not have good lighting and the smell is quite pungent because it consists of a mixture of mouse droppings and urine of other prisoners.
"I've come to capture the Demon King, not to sleep in a shabby prison with a shitty man like you."
"Xiao Shang, sometimes you have to live a little more casually. Look, you're young, don't take things too seriously. Use this time to relax for a while."
There's no one here. The other prisoners were asleep. Feng Shang looked at them and thought why they were so sound asleep, when this place was obviously very bad and smelly. Maybe they are used to it? Or it could be because they are too tired to scream and hope for a sense of freedom, which makes them give up and choose to sleep even though they know uncomfortable.
Feng Shang finally untied the rope in his hand and threw it into a corner of the prison. There was a transverse red mark, then he immediately wiped it off with his spiritual magic. Feng Shang stood up, cleaned his clothes and prepared to run away. The large, strong wooden bar was already held and Feng Shang was preparing to weather it.
Seeing the woman preparing to destroy the prison, Yongheng also got up and broke free. He pulled back Feng Shang's hand and carried him slightly away from the bars.
"You want to destroy this place?" tanyanya.
"I don't want to spend the night in this bad place" Feng Shang replied.
"You said the world belongs to man. If you destroy it, how will you deal with the next problem?"
"Then do you have a way to escape from here?"
"There was. Why don't we just use our power?"
Also true. They clearly had the power to escape easily. No one will realize they're running away now. Time seemed to be heading towards midnight, and those officers must have slept for the most part.
"Ah, right," said Feng Shang.
Not long after, Feng Shang and Yongheng were already outside the prison. Before leaving, Feng Shang threw a flashlight on the wall into the cell room where he had been locked up. The fire instantly burned the dried straw and flared up quickly. Instantly, the dark prison became light.
"Don't you say yourself that the world belongs to humans and we can't just kill?" Yongheng asked in astonishment at what Feng Shang had done.
"I didn't do anything. This prison is just too cold and dark."
"Enable!"
"No. The fire won't go out to the other cell. Never mind, there's still business to be done."
Yongheng was astonished by Feng Shang's behavior. The Sky Empress could have played with fire inside the prison, also still saying as if it was just a joke. The two then walked down the prison aisle, walking quickly and occasionally hiding because the wide footsteps seemed to be rushing towards here.
The voices yelling "Fire!" start echoing. It appears the officers already knew that the hay in one of the cells had caught fire. They came with two buckets of water in each of their hands, then poured them into the fire. The wuss.... The fire was extinguished, but the smoke flew to every other cell. As a result, the prisoners who had been sleeping soundly woke up and coughed.
Meanwhile, Feng Shang and Yongheng enter a secret door that leads them to a place they never thought possible.
