The Eternal Phoenix Queen

The Eternal Phoenix Queen
Eps. 82: King of the East Sea

The King of the North Sea, Lord Sui Jian came to the East Sea Palace a few days after Yongheng arrived. He asked for an explanation for the punishment of his daughter, Sui Jin who was made a servant maid at the Yue Lao Temple for five hundred years by Empress Feng. The god Sui Yang had explained it, but his father insisted on disbelief and instead went to the East Sea Palace.

Yongheng as the ruler of the East Sea then explained that it was true. Sui Jin was punished for occupying the Great God seat and was unwilling to admit wrong. Even before Feng Shang, Sui Jin was so stubborn. He himself could not help because Feng Shang had the power to order the gods. The god Sui Jian did not accept, then instead scolded Yongheng before the East Sea gods.

"You are only the new ruler. Why is it so arrogant that it won't help me?" asked Lord Sui Jian with emotion. How not, Sui Jin is her only beloved daughter. His age was still young, but it could not be used as an excuse to give him this unreasonable punishment. How could a princess of the North Sea be a servant of an old god? Clearly the North Sea's self-esteem was hurt by this punishment.

"If you don't accept it, go alone to the Sky Palace. Meet Maharani Feng and ask him for justice" said Si Yun, Yongheng's new god's servant.

"Heh, so arrogant? The North Sea would not accept if his royal daughter was punished as such. Where is our pride?"

"God Sui Jian, it is a consequence that Princess Sui Jin must bear. He himself was at fault and made Empress Feng angry. You should just go to Fengyun Palace, why even scold Great God Yongheng?"

Presumably, Lord Sui Jian did not know much about Yongheng. He had heard the news that there was a great god who had just risen, but did not know which part of the sky. Hearing Si Yun utter the Great God Yongheng, Sui Jian instantly fell silent. His feet were nailed to where he stood, and his face was full of worry.

The people who were in the East Sea Palace Hall all paid attention to Sui Jian. How could a famous merciful North Sea King become so arrogant before Great God Yongheng? Didn't he realize his position was far below Yongheng? Sui Jian was only the King of the North Sea, not a great god. He should have thought a thousand times to speak to Yongheng.

Yongheng shook his head slowly. His calmness was so dazzling, especially when he was casually brewing tea when Sui Jian was poking around then fell silent after hearing his name. In the days of the ancient gods, not many gods became the rulers of the region, but not as foolish as Sui Jian. He wondered why people with strange temperaments like Sui Jian could survive tens of thousands of years on the throne of the North Sea.

"You done talking?" tanya Yongheng calmed down. His aura now dominates.

"Great God, are you the Great God of Yongheng?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Sui Jian immediately knelt down. Really, he regretted his stupidity of not knowing anything. He should have asked for clear information all the way to the roots before coming here. Sui Jian only thought that the newly risen great god was indeed in the East Sea, but did not think that the god himself was the real ruler of the East Sea. Some time ago he had heard the news that the throne of the East Sea had been returned to its owner, and he thought that maybe his successor was only a descendant of the King of the East Sea before. Because during these tens of thousands of years, the throne of the East Sea was held by the guardian of the Sky Palace.

"You still want me to demand justice for your daughter?" ask Yongheng once more.

"I don't dare. Hope the Great God understands the carelessness of this ignorant old god" Sui Jian said in a trembling voice.

"My age is even older than you. Sui Jian, the East Sea Palace is not a place that you can carelessly go to. Do you want to start a war?"

"Really, I don't dare." This time, Sui Jian had already completely prostrated. The aura of Yongheng's majesty was oozing out, making the gods of his subordinates bewildered. This was the first time they had seen the fury of Supreme God Yongheng since he first rose.

"That's it. Go back and wait until your daughter's sentence is over" Yongheng said, waving his hand. He then left his throne.

Yongheng looking for a place to relax. As usual, he re-enjoiced his solitude in a pendopo he had once built himself. Ah, that was hundreds of thousands of years ago. Other than a few ornaments added, nothing else had changed from the pendopo. His courtiers took good care of him after he was gone until he got back up.

Yongheng brews his own tea. Like an emperor, he was a dignified man filled with majesty. Sui Jian did make him angry, but it would not last long. I don't know why his self-control has gotten better lately. Maybe it was because he was getting used to his new world, or because of someone far away.

"What exactly have I forgotten? Maharani Feng was clearly there with me. Why didn't he realize it? Why don't I feel it too?" ask him on the wind.

I don't know what that woman is doing right now. Yongheng was again troubled by the faint memory that displayed the incident. It is obvious that they are both equally involved, yet as equally unaware and unaware of each other. Si Ming did not know the answer, and it made Yongheng a little frustrated. He obviously wanted to know the truth.

"Feng Shang raised me. But, why?"

Before his question widened to another question, Si Yun came to him and said that he got word that Empress Feng was unconscious. Yongheng frowned, then asked the details. Si Yun then told him that on the day of the farewell, Empress Feng went to the sky pool. Yue Ming found her crying with a blank look and he was brought back to Fengyun Palace. After being broken down, Feng Shang was unconscious and is still in the process of investigation.

"Give the golden lotus petals to Yue Ming. Have him make him soup to resuscitate Empress Feng," Yongheng said. The golden lotus petals of the East Sea were famous for being extremely nutritious, and only Great God Yongheng as well as people of his level could cultivate them. Incidentally, he planted it before going to the sky banquet. It should have grown since the pond was filled with spiritual aura.

"Okay, my God."

In Fengyun Palace, Feng Shang supervised Yue Ming. The woman was still not awake, but her condition was clearly very good. Feng Shang was like he was trapped in a dreamland and had trouble waking up. Yue Ming tried to resuscitate her, yet his strength was not that great. Si Ming said that Feng Shang might need some time to decide his attitude towards the return of those memories.

Feng Shang might be too shocked. Yue Ming was aware of the depth of feeling and the tightness of the bonds of destiny that wrapped around Feng Shang and Yongheng. His entire life, he had never seen his Heaven Empress cry blankly and mutter the name of others like a while ago. It was certain that the bond had touched the bottom of his heart.

"Goddess Yue Ming, Si Yun of the East Sea sent out eight golden lotus petals. He said that the Empress might need this," said the fairy maid. He thrust out a golden lotus petal to Yue Ming.

"Maybe Supreme God Yongheng has already received word. Make some soup and get it here."

"Okay, Goddess."

A while later, the fairy maid came back with a bowl of golden lotus petal soup. Yue Ming slowly fed it to Feng Shang's mouth carefully. The silver-colored goddess totem on Feng Shang's forehead lit up the light, then slowly Feng Shang's eyelashes started moving. Yue Ming immediately woke her up and made Feng Shang's body half lean.

"You're sober?"

Feng Shang inhaled air for a moment. He closed his eyes deeply, enduring the tightness within his chest.

"How long have I been asleep?"

"Just two days. Are you all right?"

Feng Shang nodded even though his condition was not fine. As long as he was unconscious, his celestial spirit returned down the Realm of Nothingness and found all of his hidden life there. The fact that he had a deep bond with Yongheng made him have to think over and over again. This relationship began on earth, and has ended on earth. However, for some reason it feels like he is not willing even though he himself ended it.

"What are you gonna do next? Si Ming told me that you did not go to the mortal realm, but to another world. The resurrection of the Great God Yongheng is closely related to your redemption."

"I knew. It's just I don't know what to do. Yongheng... No, he is Shen Yi."

"Yongheng or Shen Yi, both are the same person. Maharani, I think your destiny pattern is the most mysterious in the Three Realms."

That sounds like a beautiful complaint. Yes, Feng Shang also felt so. He resurrected Yongheng at the expense of Shen Yi, a mortal man who had a vague god consciousness. He sacrificed his own feelings to save the earth and exterminate the Demon King who somehow could be there with them. The thread of his destiny is tangled and unexpressed.

"My story ended with him on earth. Maybe it's very good if me and him live in each other's destiny."

Yue Ming was stunned. Whahuh? That means, the Sky Empress has made up her mind. Feng Shang decided to end his relationship with Yongheng back in these Three Realms. Yue Ming looked at the sign of deep sadness that Feng Shang was trying to endure, as well as a very real helplessness. The woman's heart must be in pain, but as usual, she always hid it well.

"You sure you're gonna end it again?" asked Yue Ming.

"I'm sure."

Feng Shang's words were clear and straightforward, but Yue Ming clearly knew that the woman was saying them in earnest.
