07. Fierce duel

"Ten, although I don't hate you, but I have to be serious in the game. So sorry if I hurt you on purpose," Kai said as he wiped the corner of his arrogant lips.

Ten grinned small. "Nobody told you to play games, Kai. Remember what Zou said yesterday? The most important thing was tricks and strategies, not physical strength," Ten retorted while shaking his index finger.

"Okay, then I won't be merciful" Kai started attacking first. Ten nimbly dodged and trimmed the attack Kai gave him. There was still no gap for him to fight back.

Takk takk

One strikes, one fends off, one unsheathes the sword, another dodges the attack. And so on that happened between the two of them.

"It looks like my match with you is much more exciting than my match with Hiro yesterday," said Kai responded to a small naughtiness by Ten.

"I heard it!" sahut Hiro from the audience.

The match gets more intense, the game played by Kai and Ten is well balanced. Until Ten's hand accidentally broke into a sweat and made his grip onto the sword easy to slip off. So one strike from Kai managed to throw Ten's sword back.

"Wow, you're easily off guard, Ten," Kai lifted up next to the corner of his lips, feeling like he'd win the match.

Ten who understood the situation immediately smiled back lightly, "Don't be happy first, Kai."

Unexpectedly, Ten quickly darted behind Kai's body, positioned his horses and attacked Kai's nape using his elbow.

"Eh, what?" Kai who was surprised because Ten suddenly disappeared from the direction of his vision was very unprepared to receive an attack, as a result of which he fell to the front. Ten managed to win the game by using the attack from the back.

The other three friends immediately applauded. "Great ten," praised Kyo for a moment.

"Use the strategy, Kai. Why are you always fooled?" Zou spoke up.

"Maybe because Kai was arrogant when he knew that Ten's sword had fallen, thinking he would win, but it was unexpected that Ten could quickly turn things around," Hiro deliberately exaggerates his tone in order to upset Kai.

Kai rose from the fall, "Yes, yes. I lost again. But why do you have to make fun of me anyway, Hiro?"

"Oh, huh? You're the only one feeling," Hiro chuckled small at the end of his sentence.

Ten immediately distracts Kai from Hiro, "Your weak spot looks very clear, Kai. It's around your neck. When you were attacked in the area, you quickly fell in just one strike."

Zou confirmed Ten's words, "Yesterday you were attacked by Hiro in the neck, today you were attacked by Ten in the nape of the neck. And you just lost, why let the opponent have access to attack him?"

"Yes too, yes," said Kai as he rubbed his neck that was still sick.

"Well, that indicates your strategy is not good, Kai," Kyo chimed in.

Kai glanced at Kyo, "Why? You want to fight me now?"

Kyo shook his head, "One day one person gets one turn. Give others a chance to practice."

"Say you're scared, aren't you?" Kai laughed a little, but not too much influenced by Kyo.

Kai and Ten pull over, now it's Zou's turn against Kyo.

Because Zou is smart, so the strategy he installed was very good. Kyo several times failed to penetrate the defense that Zou made, but even so Kyo did not stop attacking. He won't make a gap for Zou to fight back.

Kyo drew his sword from above, right, left, even from below. And Zou deflected it easily as if he had read Kyo's assault tactics.

"You're a worthy opponent for me, Zou," Kyo salutes because Zou didn't let his guard down.

Zou smiled cynically, "Really? I don't seem like a worthy opponent for you."

Kyo furrowed his brows in wonder, "What do you mean?"

Zou did not answer. When Kyo fought him from above, Zou did not fend him off like before. He lowered his head to dodge and launched his attack from below.

Kyo is surprised, but he manages to fend off Zou's quick attack. You could say, his reflexes were incredible. But thanks to that, things are reversed. Now change Zou attack and Kyo who dodge or fend off all the attacks given.

Kai had been ignited by the emotion of hearing it, but he managed to dampen it. Kai scoffed at Hiro, "Yeah, thanks to that our game is not fun at all, so you don't have time to enjoy the game, do you?"

"You're so naive, Hiro," Zou chimed in even though he was still in the arena.

"Huh, it's up to me, it's my strategy," Hiro growled, while Ten who was next to him just chuckled. "Once in a while you have to enjoy the game, Hiro. Try stalling, it'll feel good."

Hiro immediately turned his head towards Ten and Kai who were on his right. They discussed something else and did not focus on the game anymore. Tau-tau only, the two wooden swords belonging to Kyo and Zou are not in the grasp of their hands anymore.

"Eh, how did that happen?" the three spectators were confused. Meanwhile in the arena, Kyo and Zou just kept quiet, not intending to explain. They continued the fight with a silat.

Zou kicked, while Kyo was indented. Then replace the punching Kyo and Zou fend him off. The game gets more exciting, both Kyo and Zou have been pouring sweat on their foreheads, a sign of fatigue. Yet each of them had yet to give up.

Until it seems like Zou wants to end the match immediately. He lowered his head and twisted his leg about Kyo so that Kyo dropped his knee. Then quickly Zou stood up and attacked Kyo from above, making Kyo who just wanted to come to stand up overwhelmed to fend him off. His position was completely unfavorable to him, so he chose to give up.

"Good, fine. I lost, "Kyo dropped both knees and raised both hands above his head.

Zou smiled triumphantly. Kai, Ten and Hiro clapped their salutes in the way Zou ended the match. "Great zou."

"How, Kyo? Still want to talk strategy with me?" said Kai who clearly intends to insinuate Kyo.

"Hey, if only Zou didn't want to end the match quickly, maybe I still hadn't lost and could turn things around," Kyo walked up to the three of them, followed by Zou behind him.

Kai made a condescending gesture using his hand, "That's it. Admit it you can't match the strategy Zou's playing."

Kyo squinted at Kai, "You're taking revenge on me for not being able to embrace Ten yesterday?"

Ten who was initially uninterested in the debate they immediately turned his head. "Why bring my name?" Ten raised his eyebrows up.

"Hey, don't bring up yesterday's incident on today's issue, yes," Kai said.

Kyo immediately rolled his eyeballs, tired of serving further.

"Tomorrow's game we change again, how?" hearing the sudden proposal from Kai, the four pairs of eyes immediately looked towards him.

"Make new rules? Don't be weird, yeah," nothing yet, Hiro's already suspicious.

"Don't accuse me quickly, listen to my explanation first," Kai said in seriousness. Zou downed his drink thirsty, after which walked up to Kai.

"What if tomorrow the game is no longer using the sword, nor karate. But the archery duel, okay?"

Ten nodded, "Maybe, after all we also need to hone our archery skills."

Kai held out one finger, "One agrees, the other?"

"So far, my archery skills are the best, of course I agree," said Kyo with enthusiasm.

Inevitably Hiro and Zou nodded along. Practicing the sword they have mastered for a long time, only to hone their skills and increase their fighting experience. Now replace the archery match there's no harm they tried, right?

Hiro whipped his lips, "Hmph! Don't get me wrong! I'm just tired of watching your old games. So I'm thinking of making you guys feel bored by watching my match."

Secretly, Kai sneered, "The Reason."

"Based on envy," said Zou. "But it's up to you anyway," he sniffed his shoulders cute.

"So, who do you want to fight with tomorrow?" ask Kyo.

Hiro turned his head towards Ten who was next to him, "Ten, allow me to fight you."
