10. Playing or on vacation?

Hearing that, the four heads that had been lowered looked in disbelief at Kai. Kai smiled, then unexpectedly the four friends lunged at his body simultaneously. "Thank you, Kai."

"Hey, let go of your hugs, I can't breathe, tightness!" groaning Kai. That way their hugs came off. And they laugh together.

"Oh, yeah. Why were you guys late? If you guys had arrived sooner, we'd have been shooting at the dojo by now,"

Ten explained everything that happened. Kai also gawked at the explanation from Ten. "So, you're late because you came to my house first?"

Kyo nodded quickly, "Yes. Why did you forget the promise that we were gathered at Ten's house?"

Kai scratched his non-itchy nape. "Ehm, I'm sorry. Last night because I was still angry, I forgot about it. And I casually went to the dojo first without knowing that you guys were looking for me" Kai grimaced.

"It's okay, it's over. So, what do we do now?" ask Zou.

Ten flicked his finger excitedly, "I know."

Hiro squinted his eyes suspiciously, "Don't be weird, Ten."

Kai flicked at Hiro's forehead, "You why always accuse first."

"Oh," Hiro held onto his sick forehead. "Don't because we're new so we're not hostile, yeah," Hiro continued.

Zou glared, "Hiro. Don't start."

Hiro grimaced, "Alright, please continue, Ten."

Ten smiled broadly, "Let's do something we haven't done in a long time."

His other friends raised their eyebrows, waiting for the conversation from Ten to continue.

"Let's play!"

Crick

The atmosphere was silent before Zou regained his senses from his bengongnya. "You serious? We are teenagers!"

Ten looked, "Then what? Can teenagers not play?"

Hiro shakes. "Maybe, but there's no way we're playing hide-and-seek like a kid,"

Ten nodded calmly, "Therefore, I would like to ask you guys. Do you have a proposal?"

Kyo held up one hand, "I'd love to shoot."

"What about the arrow, Kyo? You know for yourself that all my father's arrows have been donated to the dojo, leaving only one arrow that I used to hunt with" Ten explained. Kyo's wishes cannot be granted as long as they are full of the dojo.

Kyo lowered his head in a doldrums. "I know, but...,"

Zou patted Kyo on the shoulder. "What if we're on vacation?"

"entertained? We're on vacation?" Hiro is the most excited. Kai's eyes sparkled at Zou's suggestion, "I agree!"

Ten nodded and Zou smiled. "Well, what about you, Kyo?"

Seeing the four friends agree, inevitably Kyo nodded. Because it is impossible that one against four will win.

"Alright, it's decided. We're just going on vacation" Zou broke up.

"wait around. My idea was to play, why the holidays?" ask Ten.

Zou looked at Ten, "It's already Ten, the others have agreed. You also agree. The important thing is we're happy, doesn't it matter isn't it playing or taking a vacation?"

"All right, all right."

"So, where are we going on vacation?" tanya Kai started the deliberation session.

"Mountains? The grove? The beach?" Hiro proposed one by one his opinions.

"The forest? In seriously? What if the wood man shows up?" Kyo brought up a myth that had been lost years ago. But Kyo did not forget at all, because that was the reason why he had to learn to fight his own fears.

"Well, I almost forgot about the myth" Hiro thought. Zou approved Hiro's remark, "Yes. Isn't that just a myth? Why should I be afraid?"

Ten added, "After all, we're teenagers! I'm not scared anymore!" from the beginning everyone no longer believed the truth of the myth, including Ten. But Kyo certainly is.

"We're strong, Kyo. With our sword-playing ability, we can defeat anyone!" said Kai arrogantly.

Kyo glanced at Kai, "Don't be arrogant just yet. Remember, there is still sky above."

Kai looked astonished at Kyo, "Tumben you're wise."

Ten mediated, "Already. We're not going to the woods. How about we go to the beach? I want to swim, it must be fresh!"

Again Hiro nodded his head in spirit, "Ah, swimming fits perfectly with the scorching heat this afternoon!"

"But the beach near our village is only in the North. To get there, we have to go through the forest" said Zou.

Hearing the word forest, again Kyo creeps. "Should we go to the beach?"

"Kyo, try to imagine the fresh clear water on the beach when you dive it. Aren't you interested?" kai's mouth is so sweet when persuading Kyo.

"I'm interested, obviously interested. But what if the myth is true, guys?" once again Kyo still wants to influence the thoughts of his four friends not to leave.

"Don't worry, the forest is just by the beach. As soon as we go through it for a while, we must have reached the beach" Ten calmed down.

Kyo relented once more, he did not want to argue. He said it was not before that one against four is unlikely to win.

Zou started walking North ahead of his friends, "We're leaving now, because it's getting noon!"

Ten groped Kyo's hand so he would follow them. Along the way Ten constantly calms Kyo down.

It was almost an hour before they spent the trip. On foot, the journey feels longer. Because they don't have horses for the vehicles they can ride.

But for the sake of vacationing to the beach, they are willing to make this trip. Tired they feel, rest too they do many times. Thanks to the clever Zou, he had already memorized the location map around their village. So, a trip to the beach they had never been to, Zou could easily point the way.

"That's fine" Kai complained. He looked at the sun above him while closing his eyes slightly using one hand.

"Sama, me too," Kyo looked ragged. He just sat himself on the ground. It seems like he is exhausted.

"We've rested many times, but why the journey still feels so far away," Hiro also complained. He sat down next to Kyo.

"Certainly a long journey because we rested many times. We've spent a lot of time!" hardik Zou on Kyo and Hiro. He himself was actually also tired, but why the physical two friends are much weaker and easily exhausted so they rest repeatedly? It's completely out of his mind.

Ten calms him down, "Zou. You've been trying so hard. We'd better get our walking map a little rest now so there's some energy for later."

Zou glared at Ten calling him a new name for himself. "Map runs? What the fuck," snorted Zou. Nevertheless, he followed Ten's advice and took a break.

"Zou, how much longer will we have to travel?" ask Kai whose position is at the front. Kai was also exhausted, but his physique was the strongest among the five of them. So actually he is still able to walk for now.

"After this, we will enter the forest. Then it will reach the beach. The journey won't be long" replied Zou.

Hearing that Hiro was instantly spirited, he immediately rose to his feet. "Then let's hurry now! We're almost there!"

Kyo sighing. "Haah, if only I wasn't thirsty at the moment, I wouldn't be leaving now" he said standing up.

"Yes, it's coming soon and your thirst is gone if you swim on the beach, so prepare your mind in the forest, Kyo," Ten said.

Kyo approaches Ten and embraces Ten's hand, "Promise you'll be near me."

Ten laughed, "Yes, yes."

Hiro scoffed. "Basic coward!" taunting Kyo.

"Let's go again!" exclaiming Zou so that Kyo does not face the quarrel made by Hiro.

And once again, they went back on this holiday trip.
