After seeing the wooden man statue, Ten's friends decide to go home earlier than usual. Making Ten have time to rest for a while while waiting for his father to come home from hunting.
Time passed so quickly, his mother had returned from work since before evening. However, until now it was almost midnight, his father had not returned home to them either. Making Ten and Fei worry about the head of the family.
"How is this, Mom? Dad hasn't been back yet" Ten, who was worried about excessive to the point of unconsciously biting his own fingernails.
Fei was also no less anxious, but he managed to cover it well in front of Ten. "Calm down, Ten. Your father must be fine, I'm sure. It's almost midnight now, you go to sleep first. Tomorrow morning when you wake up your father must be home," Fei said to calm Ten even though in his heart also ketar-ketir. How not? It's almost midnight and Ken hasn't come back from the woods yet, what's wrong?
Ten, who was already sleepy, was forced to obey his mother's orders. Inevitably, the question stuck out that from earlier thought he had to patiently later until the next day.
✨✨✨
The next morning, Ten woke up early, last night worried about his father's condition until he was carried into his dream. In his dream, he saw that his father had come home, but he could not be relieved because his father was followed by a wooden man who was very similar to the wooden man statue that his father made.
Ten shook his head quickly, trying to chase away his nightmare. He came out of his room to see his mother. "Mom, are you home yet?" ten asked while rubbing his eyes.
Fei and Ken who were in the living room turned their heads to hear the voice of his son. "Ten, looking for Dad?" ken said, who has gone home.
Ten stopped rubbing his eyes, and looked at the two figures of his parents in front of him. "Dad," Ten immediately threw himself into his father's arms. Ken rubbed his son's hair and followed Fei's small ruckus. "Ten was very worried about you last night" said Fei, who embarrassed Ten.
Ken laughed, "Is that true?"
Ten did not reply, he was still embarrassed. But he nodded his head slowly. "Why did you come home late last night?"
Ken glanced at Fei for a moment and Fei glanced back at Ken before Ken answered Ten's question, "It's okay, there's no need to worry. I just haven't got any prey till the afternoon, so I kept looking until I didn't realize it was night."
Ten nodded, not feeling suspicious at all. Then he remembered the many questions in his mind yesterday. "Dad, I want to ask you something, okay?" Ten asked permission first.
Ken felt strange, not usually his son would ask permission first before asking, but even so he still nodded, "May, please."
"Have you ever met a wooden man? Is that woodman not a myth, Dad?" the question from Ten momentarily made both his parents hold their breath. However, Ken quickly regained control of the situation.
"Why ask like that, Ten?"
Ten also told me about his friend who wanted to practice together, until they saw the wooden man statue made by Ken, then how Hiro said yesterday, and also his dream last night. Ken nodded his head understanding why Ten could think so.
"First, Dad made a wooden man statue that looks like an ordinary human like us. Just change your head, hands and feet."
Ten immediately remembered the shape of his father's statue. With a large wooden trunk as the body, the wooden head of the box is a bit dreadful, as well as the hands and feet made of branches and twigs. It does look like an ordinary human, but according to Ten, it's more like a wood alien.
"Secondly, maybe you dream of Dad being followed by a woodman because you worry too much about Dad who did not come home yesterday, coupled with you who think too much about the myth of the wood man, so that the strange dream was created," ken obviously laughed.
Ten pouted, not satisfied with his father's explanation, but his father's explanation made sense anyway, so Ten could only nod.
"Well, third. Dad allowed your friend to join the rehearsal, but before that I had to make another wooden man statue so there were five, so you helped, yeah."
Ten nodded once more. Yesterday his father had made 2 statues, the remaining 3 more because Ten friends plus Ten in total there are 5. If yesterday his father alone could make 2 statues in a day, then coupled with the help of Ten today, making 3 statues is not impossible. "Okay Dad, let's do it now."
✨✨✨
Three statues have been completed in a few hours, now the time is noon. Hiro and Zou have arrived at Ten's house, they are ready to train, just waiting for Kai and Kyo.
"Ah, that's nothing. I'm happy because my idea can be useful for the benefit of others. Give my thanks to them for the fruit as well" said Ten with a smile. He took the fruit box that still looked fresh and kept it home.
"You're worthy of praise, Ten. Ah, because Kai is not here, so no one is jealous" Hiro said.
Zou and Ten laughed, "You love to make trouble with Kai ya."
Kai suddenly appears, "Searching for me?"
The three of them turned their heads towards Kai who had just come. "Don't be spooky," Hiro shook Kai's forehead.
"What the hell? Coming instead of being welcomed was even offered," muttered Kai annoyed.
Zou paid absolutely no heed to Hiro's 'good' welcome to Kai. "Where's Kyo? She didn't come with you, Kai?"
Kai stopped rubbing his head that had been pulled by Hiro. "No, I had come to his house to bring him here, but he said he was afraid to fight against the wooden man" said Kai as he pointed at the wooden man statue in Ten's yard.
"Eh, loh? There were two yesterday, and now there are five?" Kai's confused. Ten laughed, "Of course, Dad and I made it again today. So that the five of us can attack them without changing."
Kai mangosteen understood, "But how is this? Kyo doesn't want to come."
Zou seemed to be thinking, "Didn't everyone agree to come yesterday, huh?"
Hiro shook his head, "Yesterday because of Kai's unilateral decision, no one protested. Maybe Kyo's embarrassed if he says he's not willing to be alone."
"So you mean it's my fault?" ask Kai to Hiro. Hiro shrugged both of his shoulders indifferently, "Maybe."
"Basic Hi-"
Ten immediately cuts off Kai's words, "Stop! We'd better figure out a way to persuade Kyo, wouldn't it be a loss if we had the chance to practice while he missed it?"
Zou nodded in agreement to Ten's proposal, "Okay, Ten, Kai, you persuade Kyo. Hiro and I will wait here, if we all go there and Ten's house is quiet, Ten's dad thinks we're playing and doesn't want to practice."
While Hiro nodded in agreement, Kai who was still upset because Hiro was exploding. "What do you mean tell me as you like? Why don't you persuade Kyo yourself?" Kai pointed at Zou annoyed.
Zou calmly replied, "Because if Ten and I were there, I don't know what would happen if you were left behind, I just feel sorry for Ten's house, which may have been messed up by you guys."
Kai gritted his teeth furiously, "You!"
"I'm kidding, weren't you at Kyo's? Maybe Kyo will melt because you're willing to go there twice to persuade him, and Ten with his soft words will further persuade Kyo, don't you think about getting there?" zou replied in the end.
Ten and Hiro as spectators since then just applauded, "Zou's right."
"Hmph, whatever, then come on, Ten. We leave them alone, it really pisses me off" Kai immediately pulled Ten's hand away from his house.
Ten waved his hand at Zou and Hiro, "See you later, pray we succeed, yes!"
Zou and Hiro waved back at Ten, "Sure."
