Stay in Rim Town

The morning is coming. The newly awakened Vlad immediately came out from inside the room that had been his resting place since last night. Vlad is currently in an inn in a small village located right on the edge of the Blackwood forest.

Vlad went down the stairs of the inn, considering that the room where he had rested last night was on the second floor, while the dining room and restaurant were on the first floor of the inn.

Just as he was just coming down the stairs, a very familiar voice in his ears called out his name.

"Vlad, come! Your breakfast I have prepared." said a woman who is currently sitting while enjoying her breakfast.

"Thank you Leona. But the only time you've been up so early?" vlad said as he approached the table where Leona was.

"I couldn't sleep well all night. My stomach is very hungry, but there's not a single meal in my inventory. There are only a few herbs and potions." Replied Leona who was currently just finishing the bread in her hand.

"Hahahaha why didn't you wake me up? I have a little food in my inventory, it should be enough to keep you full by noon." Vlad said, chuckling slightly.

"I don't want to bother you. Your snoring that rang out to the end of the passageway was enough to tell me that you were so exhausted." Leona's jail smile was on her face.

"Hahaha there's no way my snoring voice can be heard to that extent. I'm a frog monster." Said Vlad who felt that Leona's talk was a little funny.

"Haha." Leona only replied to Vlad with her typical laugh.

"So when do we get out of this inn?" Further.

"Maybe this morning. I'll meet Chip after breakfast to ask for more details." Vlad replied as he ate his breakfast.

"Yes okay, it's up to the boss. I'm going up first, right? I want to continue my sleep. Don't forget to wake me when we're ready to go." Said Leona who immediately moved from the dining table.

"Don't snore." Ejek Vlad's.

"No way, wleeekkkk." Leona replied as she stuck out her tongue.

"How's your entourage preparation Chip?" asked Vlad who was currently walking closer to Chip who had been busy with the affairs of his merchant entourage earlier this morning.

"Yes you can see for yourself, soon everything is ready and we can go. By the way, where's Leona? I haven't seen her since this morning." Chip Say.

"He's in his room. After breakfast this morning, she resumed her interrupted sleep last night." Vlad answered.

"Hmm. still sleeping apparently. Can you wake him up? I think we'll be ready to leave this lodge Vlad soon." Chip said so while busy tidying up the boxes in his cart.

"No need, I'm awake." Said Leona with her trademark smile.

"Good then." Said Vlad who looked towards the direction of the voice.

"All assemble! Prepare each of your luggage. We're leaving now!" Chip shouted at his entourage.

"Ready boss!" Answer them simultaneously.

The merchant group walked in tandem through the path that became the benchmark to arrive at the city of Rim. The party line was led by Chip, with two NPC guards behind him. Vlad and Leona were at the very back of the entourage, as they were tasked with guarding the entourage from enemy attacks that might have targeted their luggage.

Some time later, the group passed through a kind of valley with two high cliffs on its left and right sides. The valley was not very large, but there were several species of monsters that roamed around the valley.

Vlad and Leona, aided by the guard NPC, did not take long to drive them out. Some of the monsters that tried to attack the group successfully crushed them, while other monsters chose to avoid the group.

Until late afternoon, finally the group of them all can see the gate of the city of Rim. Tired, they decided to rush into the city to complete their journey. The files that Chip brought immediately he gave to the gatekeeper, as an identity and a sign of their purpose in entering the city. Not long after, the group finally entered the city.

Inside an inn in Rim City.

"Thank you Vlad. Thanks to your help, me and the rest of the merchant entourage were able to arrive safely in this city." Chip said while greeting Vlad's hand as a form of gratitude.

"Not what Chip. Besides, thanks to your entourage, Leona and I didn't feel lonely on the way." Vlad replied with a smile.

"As a thank you, accept this gift of mine." Chip gave a small box to Vlad.

"Hahahaha just finish your food first, I'm still full. I'm waiting in front, right? don't be too long, it's dark." replied Vlad who did not sit with Leona, then passed out of the inn.
