Meet Theo and the unexpected Gift
"How did you get a recommendation to come to my place from Chip ?" Without further ado or greeting, the man immediately asked Vlad directly.
"You're Theo the blacksmith?" Vlad answered the man's question with another question.
"Yes, I'm the one you're looking for. So, can you answer my question?" ask Theo back.
"I was recommended this place by Chip in return for helping save him from the attacks of those who would rob him" Vlad said.
"Oh my, apparently you're the one that Chip told me a few days ago. Hahahaha, so what can I do now for you young man?" ask Theo then.
"Look, Mr. Theo, right now the weapons I wield are no longer suitable for my current level. Therefore, I came here to make weapons and some other supporting equipment for me to use. Can you make it ?" Vlad.
"of course! What weapon do you want to make ? Do you have the materials you want to use to make it?" ask Theo.
"I want to make a pair of master weapons, the katana and the wakazashi. I happened to bring some materials that I felt would be suitable for making that weapon. For the matter of other supporting materials, can you use the materials you have first? I'll pay for it when my guns are done." Vlad answered Theo's question.
Vlad then gave all his old swords and bows, 4 goblin cores, goblin bones, and all the black iron ore he had to Theo.
"Hm... I think with these materials I can make a pretty good weapon for you, of course with other materials in my warehouse. For the price issue, I'll tell you after the weapon's finished. How ?" ask Theo then.
"All right, Mr. Theo, no problem. When will my weapon be finished, sir?" asked Vlad who was a little curious.
"Hmm... Since you're quite an important person, it seems that with a little hard work, I can finish it within 3 days. does that not matter?" Theo.
"It doesn't matter, sir. I'll be back again 3 days from now." Vlad replied this time.
Vlad immediately bowed his body to say his greetings before he left the place. But, just as he was about to turn around, he remembered about the necklace he had previously obtained. Vlad wanted to know what the necklace was for, considering that he and Rinz were both unable to identify the necklace.
"Ah Mr. Theo, there is 1 more thing I want to ask. Can you identify this necklace ? I got it from a dungeon, unfortunately I can't identify this necklace." Ask Vlad back to Theo.
"Hmm.it takes time to identify an item that an adventurer like you cannot judge. Just leave it here, 3 more days I'll tell you what abilities the necklace has." Answer Theo while showing the place where Vlad should put his necklace.
"Thank you, sir, then. I'm sorry." Vlad said, bowing his body again before coming out of Theo's shop.

Vlad is now in a mansion on the outskirts of Eden. He was hiding in a tree while observing the situation around the old mansion. Previously, he got a quest message from Chip to guard the mansion belonging to his acquaintances from the thief who several times tried to enter and steal from the mansion. Vlad of course immediately agreed, considering the gift given by Chip is usually very good.

Vlad continued to lurk the mansion until shortly afterwards saw 2 suspicious figures who approached the mansion owned by Chip's acquaintance. The two men wore black clothes and carried different weapons. The first figure that looked like a man was shouldering a large sword on his back, while another figure whose body was like a woman carried a pair of daggers on her waist.
Vlad very carefully immediately jumped down the tree and tried to approach the two figures to deliver a surprise attack. But unlucky for Vlad, before he had time to give a surprise attack, the two figures were aware of Vlad's presence behind them.
"Hahaha I didn't think it turned out that this mansion had bad guards. He can sneak behind me to this distance. Lucky my Awareness skill realized your position, otherwise my life might have floated thanks to you." The figure of the man chuckled towards Vlad.
"That's Rick, just finish this stupid guy off. He doesn't know who's bothering" said the woman next to him.
"Yes yes, Rion." Rick replied to Rion, the woman who became his partner.
"I will serve you well, old man, be prepared." said Vlad, who also now has prepared with his right hand on the handle of his katana.
Rick immediately jumps towards Vlad, attacking Vlad with his sword. A vertical slash swung Rick to open the fight. Vlad, who was ready to jump back to avoid the attack, followed by a horizontal slash that was done by Vlad to counter Rick's attack. Rick who saw the attack immediately fended off with his sword.
After that, attack after attack occurred between them. The exchange between the attacks and the defensive moves they made alternately looked extremely fast and accurate. Each attack they both unleashed seemed laden with murderous aura. Vital points became the main target in every exchange of attacks that Vlad and Rick did.
Indeed for a glimpse, the fight looked a draw between Vlad and Rick. But Vlad is actually superior to this opponent. It can be seen from the many wounds Vlad attack on Rick's body. In comparison, Vlad had only gotten 1 minor injury on his left arm.
"Rion, help me. This guy is great, I can't beat him by myself." - Rick shouted as he evaded Vlad's attack.
"alright. Get ready boy, you'll die in my hands." said Rion who jumped into the fight between Vlad and Rick.
Vlad, who felt that this would end badly, immediately retreated to execute his skill.
"Ghost sword techniques: Ghost Steps."
"Phantom sword dance, first style: Void Slash X2."
Vlad immediately moved to the rear of Rion. Then, just as Vlad was already behind him, he took out 2 black waves from his katana and wakazashi slashes. The two black waves formed the letter X before flying right towards Rion who was not yet fully aware of what had just happened.
The attack hit Rion's back very precisely. In the next instant, without losing momentum, Vlad immediately stabbed Rion's back using his katana right at the midpoint of Rion's scar. Rion was killed without fighting at all.
Rick who saw it, immediately realized from his daydream. He realized that only 5 seconds from his scream just now, brought a bad impact that he did not expect at all. His partner died in the hands of this young man who became his opponent, even before he did anything.
The enraged Rick immediately attacked Vlad blindly towards Vlad. Slash after slash was aimed at Vlad. Vlad dodged every attack launched on him without any meaningful movement, because the attack from Rick could be fully read by him.
Out of annoyance, Rick eventually retreated backwards. He then pointed his sword forward while pulling his sword parallel to his shoulders, then perfected his posture by doing steady horses.
"Volcanic Stab!" yell Rick.
Rick used his skill. A blazing fire immediately surrounded Rick's sword and body, then a second later, Rick charged towards Vlad with a sword positioned forward to stab Vlad's vital point.
Vlad who feels his life is threatened immediately jumps to the side to avoid Rick's attack. Unfortunately, though Vlad managed to evade the attack, but the fire that ignited from Rick's body managed to snatch Vlad. Burns on Vlad's back were seen gaping due to the fire that attacked him earlier.
Vlad did not remain silent. He immediately sheathed his katana back before carrying out the attack. He then jumps toward Rick while pulling his katana back out, forming a diagonal strike aimed squarely at Rick's neck.
Rick who realizes his sword immediately draws his sword to resist the attack from Vlad. The two swords clashed and emitted a deafening clanking sound. To Rick, he does not realize that a second attack from Vlad is heading towards him.
Vlad's Wakazashi quickly pierces Rick's unprepared heart as his focus is to withstand Vlad's katana attack. Fresh blood gushed from the wounds inflicted as Vlad pulled the wakazashi back from Rick's body. Rick was pushed back for a moment before he fell.
Not sure if Rick is dead, Vlad immediately put his katana right on Rick's forehead which can no longer fight.

Vlad didn't care about the sound of the system in his head. Currently he was looking at the item dropped by the two people who had just been in his opponent.
