The Event Monster Hunt 4
Vlad was currently sitting in front of the fireplace near the tent. He was on guard duty the night Drake had previously done. Only this bonfire fireplace was Vlad's friend on guard.
The night is getting late. Only the roaring sound of the wind was loud enough to be heard in Vlad's ears. His eyes could only look at the faint darkness under the moonlight. For a moment, Vlad felt a very very calm feeling because of the atmosphere.
Until not long ago, a voice sounded faintly from within the forest. The sound was getting closer and closer until a few seconds later, Vlad was able to see the figure that made the sound.
A deep black panther with long fangs coming out of its mouth is seen coming out from behind the trees. The panther stumbled to Vlad, who was a little wary at the time. The wound on the panther's body looked so fatal that even as he walked, blood continued to drip down the ground.
Vlad, aware that the panther was harmless, approached it slowly. The panther then sat down while bowing his head when Vlad was finally in front of him.
"Master, can I beg for your help? My body was badly injured, and I couldn't hold on much longer." There was a voice coming into Vlad's head.
Vlad, who had been amazed for a moment, immediately answered the voice, "What can I do for you, poor panther."
"I am one of the strongest divine beasts, a Dark Ruler Panther. I'm asking you to heal me, and in return I'll make a contract with you." Said the panther.
"What do I get from the contract with you, O great divine beast?" ask Vlad.
"You will be able to use half of my power that I will give you. My power is to control the element of darkness, and you can control that element of darkness beyond all the creatures of this world." The panther explained.
"Then, you can also call me through your shadow. My power will be halved because half of it I will give you. However, I believe that with only half my strength I can become a strong friend and help me from the various dangers that you will face." Further.
"If that were the case, I would be happy to help you" Vlad said.
Then, Vlad took the top grade potion from his Inventory and immediately smeared it into the panther's mouth. He took one more potion to smash it into the wound that was on the body of the divine beast. Shortly after, the potion began to react and make the panther's wound heal little by little until now he has enough energy and can stand upright.
"Now, let's make a contract with me." Said the panther.
"How is it?" ask Vlad.
"Put your hand on my head, give me a name." Evidently.
Immediately, Vlad stood in front of the panther's body. His right hand he placed right above the forehead of the divine beast.
"I am Vlad, hereby giving you a name as a symbol of my contract. I named you Phantom." said Vlad.
Instantly, an extremely dense aura of darkness shot out from that divine beast's body. The aura swirled around for a second then slowly led to Vlad's body. Vlad received the approaching aura, and a few seconds later, the entire aura was absorbed.
"We have made a contract. Now I need to rest and recover my body. I will rest in your shadow. Say my name if you want to call me out." Phantom Vocabulary.
"Yes, get some rest." Answer Vlad.
The phantom suddenly turned into a pitch-black astral shadow, before finally merging into Vlad's shadow.

Last night, shortly after the meeting between Phantom the divine beast and Vlad, he went to rest and changed guard duty with Rinz who got the assignment after Vlad.
"Hmm .. I feel like there's something else from you Vlad. But what is it?" said Rogue who had just seen Vlad come out of his tent.
"Either. Since last night I felt a strong fluctuation of energy around here, but only for a moment. The energy then vanished unceasingly. Does that have anything to do with you Vlad?" rinn asked who was also a little curious.
"Right, this has everything to do with me. I'll tell you after we finish breakfast." Said Vlad who was still a little sleepy, visible from both eyelids are still reluctant to open wide.
"Food ready! Come on, have breakfast. We don't have much time to relax." Shouted Lliandra from a distance, where he prepared food for this group.
"Let's eat first. I'll explain what happened last night." Vlad said with a shaky step closer towards Lliandra.

"So what happened last night?" said Rogue who has cleaned up her food.
"I know it might be hard to believe if I told you. So I better show you guys." Answer Vlad.
"Come out, Phantom." Vlad said later.
The shadow under Vlad's feet that initially looked faint, now changed color to pitch black. A moment later, came out a black panther of considerable size from within the shadow. The Black Moon members gasped at the scene. Immediately they held their respective weapons to attack the creature.
"Wait first! He's not gonna attack you." Shouted Vlad.
"What monster is that? why did he get out of your shadow Vlad?" tanya Rock who has made a shield in his left hand using earth elements.
"Include me, his name is Phantom. He is a divine beast controlling the dark element that made a contract with me." Vlad explained.
Vlad told me about what happened that night. About how he met that divine beast, and also why he was able to make a contract with it.
"Then what profit did you get from Vlad's contract?" ask Drake curiously.
"His half power is mine, and he is my partner now because he will be with me forever." Answer Vlad.
"really. How did you get lucky like this? Divine Beasts are not the lowly monsters we are used to, even as far as I know, the number in this world is not up to 100. But you can meet and make a contract with him? I'm completely out of words." Rinz said as he slowly nodded his forehead.
"Hahaha, don't worry. Most importantly, our strength is now increased by the Phantom that will help us fight the monsters we will encounter later."
"Haaah .. alright, we will listen to your words Vlad." Said Zero later.
"All right, we clean this place up and let's go again." Vlad commanded his comrades.
"Reader of the house." Answer them almost simultaneously.
