CHAPTER 12: Grandpa White Shirt

Luna magazine was rejected again. That was what Lis had guessed when she saw Luna's gloomy and lethargic facial expression after coming out of Mr. Pear's room. He saw Luna walking unsteadily towards his counter table. Luna then sat on a tall chair in front of Lis and propped up her chin using her hands.

“Huhhhh” he sighed.

Lis was silent. He only saw Luna playing her pen and propping up her chin with one hand. Don't wanna say anything.

Lis was astonished anyway. How can someone still try to submit a magazine that has been blatantly rejected? Not once but many times. Even the magazines he had worked hard for were all rejected and he even still sent magazines on the same topic.

Honestly, this time Lis felt that Luna was missing her unyielding. The things he is doing now he thinks will only be useless and pointless. It will even exhaust itself.

“Luna” call Lis slowly. Hearing that Luna just glanced at Lis face without moving.

“Why do you still make the magazine if it has been rejected?” ask Lis carefully. Afraid that Luna will be angry with him.

“Yes I know you will ask that. It's okay. However, even though it has been rejected, I am sure one day Mr. Pear will receive my magazine” Luna smiled making Lis smile.

“Kan after the fall, we have to get up again. I'll try until it works. Please support, Lis!”

I smiled a second time. It is wrong to doubt Luna.

Luna glanced at her watch. It was almost time to sell this magazine.

“Eh, it's time. I went ya”

“Ah yes. Beware”

“Iya”

Luna then walked out of the shop while waving to Lis. To Luna Lis like a sister. Naturally, as an only child Luna was rather lonely. Luna wants to have a sister who can be invited everywhere and can be with her always.

And Lis is like that too. He was the one who sometimes guided Luna in doing the task. He was always a good listener when Luna complained and became a believer in Luna in the sense of truly believing. He is also a friendly person. Even though she was older than Luna she remained humble.

Luna then walked while carrying a large bag containing magazines and slinging the bag. He then started selling magazines with a smile.

You must be wondering why Luna is walking instead of riding a bike. You see, since that incident Luna became traumatized by objects related to the incident. Including the shop's bike.

Somehow it felt like the bike was the one that got Luna involved with the whole incident. His bike took Luna to the town square and met the people and coincidentally. That's what makes Luna a bit traumatized riding a bike. Maybe he won't ride a bike for the rest of his life.

Now Luna was walking towards the town square. He was carefree because today it looks like there will be a parade. Because if you look around many people who go to the city square as well. Usually, like that in Broside City there will be a massive parade.

Great opportunity to sell magazines. Must have bought a lot.

By the way in Broside City, people are already crowded on foot. Maybe even a little ride. Even if it still gets stuck. Although the city of Broside City has been very sophisticated in technology and transportation, but the more there people are aware of the importance of maintaining the environment.

Luna is happy to live here. Although many people protest about the light pollution caused by this advanced city that clearly covers the beauty of stars and other celestial objects at night.

But he thinks they all look up too often to not know what is below and what they are.

The beauty of the sky is beautiful. Can't be that good and be exchanged for a sophisticated view of the city. But they are not aware of the sights in this sophisticated city like people who start their routine, school children who walk in an orderly way to school, a group of people who both read the daily newspaper for free, and other social interaction relationships are also wonderful things.

Even they do not realize the things they consider futile such as feeling a gust of wind and seeing flowers blooming as well as some of the natural beauty of the sky.

But once again, Luna remains happy here. All the advantages and disadvantages of this city will Luna accept as it is. Because just way you are. Have you ever been to a better city than this? Tell Luna to convince you that she likes her city more!

Just as she was about to take another step, Luna realized that she had reached the town square. Because the surrounding area is full of people. He immediately looked around.

Luna realized she had returned to where the events had happened. That crossroad. The crossroads where he saw a white-clothed grandfather, a black-clothed man who was a robber, and also a jet-black-haired woman who was also a friend of the black-clothed man.

Luna instantly experienced a flashback in this place. As he turned to the bus stop, he saw the end of the road, and was attacked by the woman named Ren.

Luna checked those places back. He spontaneously set his eyes on the bus stop in case there was a grandfather there. But apparently there was no one.

He also looked to the other end of the street to see if the man was there.

There's not one either.

Just now Luna wanted to sigh in relief, she accidentally saw the bench next to her when it was hit by Ren. The bench is next to the sidewalk and facing the street. And that bench was sitting on someone....

..... Grandpa white robe.
