"His body has been swallowed by the curse and black magic."
Sain's hand fell with a wink, his eyes becoming gloomy realizing that Gaia's breath was beginning to weaken and the woman's blonde hair was slowly turning black but without everyone realizing it, along with the halted heartbeat and breathing, the spirit of Gaia is separated from the body without bringing any memory. In confusion, the woman looked at her body and noticed the mourning atmosphere that enveloped the chapel.
Trying to touch Sain who was still crying over her body, Gaia actually penetrated the priest's body despite repeatedly doing so.
"please, hangin. Don't die ... "
Sain's tears were like raindrops drenching the woman's dress he held his hand in while insisting on channeling healing power that had repeatedly failed. The owner of the body that turned into a soul felt pained to see Sain's cry, even though he did not know who the man was, he felt there was a bond between them as well towards the people around him however, he did not know who he was, he doesn't even know who he is and why it could end up like that.
"Y-His Majesty."
Gaia's attention shifted, she stopped teasing Sain, her gaze falling on the tan-skinned man who was wet with sweat. His aura was so intimidating as it appeared however, how shocked he saw the man's pupils tremble violently and teary after seeing his pitifully lying body there. It was only a second before the man fled and ran out without direction and out of curiosity he followed where he had gone.
"Heah ... Haaa ... Haah ..."
Rahid had trouble breathing, his heart seemed to be about to explode after seeing Gaia's condition. The sweat that had once stopped now appeared ferociously, accompanying the fear and regret that crept in and gnawed at him in this desolate passageway.
"Ti .. no, I must have seen it wrong. He's still in the room."
Squeezing his chest from outside his clothes, the tyrant walked over to the room where he last locked Gaia but when he got there the door was wide open and there was no one.
"G ... Uhh!"
His body slumped, clinging to both hands firmly clutching his chest together crying silently. The man's tears shed unstoppably, his vision suddenly blurry, dark and erratic. The shadow of Gaia's body lying with blackened nerves in the chapel reminded her of her late mother, but this time it was painful.
"Aragh!"
"Y-His Majesty ... "
Argio and Eslan who from the beginning realized the arrival of Rahid in the chapel followed and found his master gathered in front of the room with the nelangsa.
"Is that really him?"
Rahid tried to make sure again while looking at his two aides but what he found was a nod. Meanwhile, right in front of him, Gaia's spirit was seething while looking at her who was unable to stem the tears.
"It's all my fault. I should have believed and stayed by his side, but I just ... "
Rahid looked at her two palms that were trembling and wet with tears of her own followed by memories of her rude attitude towards Gaia last time.
"Why do you blame yourself? Who're you?" Gaia muttered, staring bitterly at the man who kept blaming himself for his death.
"N-no, Your Honor. I'm sure this is his choice, if you blame yourself, he's pas—"
"No, Argio. If I follow his words, he might be able to calm the witch's anger. But, I prevented him for another reason when I just didn't want him to stand by the man's side and leave me. If only I had been unselfish and too vengeful, I would not have lost it. If it wasn't for me ... Then who? No one is to blame but me."
"Y-His Majesty."
Eslan strove forward for a moment Rahid stood up and glared sharply, saying at length without taking a proper pause until the expression shown was like one who would lose his mind.
"N-no, it's not your fault! I'm sure of that, so please calm yourself!"
Gaia tried to move and cupped Rahid's face, but it was a futile act but Gaia could not stem the pain that stifled her chest, she said, it was as if the look on the man's face was what he had not wanted to see in the past.
Argio closed his eyes while slapping a powerful blow at the nape of the Nape of the Uterus until unconscious while Gaia unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.
"Please take care of Your Majesty, I will take care of the rest outside" Argio told Eslan.
In a different place, behind the silence of a narrow, rocky alley, Haetric curled up in pain as he squeezed the throbbing left chest ever since the holy power had crippled his attacks.
"A new blessing has been formed, my son."
Haetric's eyes widened noticing a foreign voice resonating within his head. He knew very well who it was, Hecate, the goddess who ruled witchcraft and deviant paths.
"The woman has sacrificed everything to bring down the payment for the bet your ancestors made. Therefore, you who receive that help will be bound as his servant, you will serve that woman for the rest of your life."
Slowly the pain lessened and Haetric leaned against the wall of the alley panting, his chest rising and falling along the sweat that went down the temple to a sturdy neck that was level.
"Your ancestors are about to destroy human life and become dark-eyed, he begged for a terrible power by risking the natural blessing I had been blessed with ever since he came into the world but he regretted his request for ultimately loving a human being, unfortunately, the uncontrollable magic made him kill the human. He always regretted his choice because his actions had made his descendants suffer greatly including those he loved."
" ... and do you know who your ancestors were?"
Observing Haetric's softened face, Hecate's smile was painted lovingly.
"That is you, my son."
A pair of Haetric eyes then glared. The look on his face depicted disbelief but considering that said so was Hecate, he tried to believe however, the first witch lived in hundreds of years ago since ancient times.
Hecate then appeared. Showing his form that has a beautiful woman's body with long wavy purple hair and violet eyes that light up in the darkness followed by a large aura that makes all over Haetric's body shudder.
Hecate's hand stretched out to grab Haetric's jaw as he said, "let's see your first life."
...***...
Hundreds of years ago, winter was just over. The remnants of the snow that was looking made the streets slippery. A shabby-robed young man tracks down the city streets for a slice of bread and warmth, but he is afraid to show himself because people who can recognize his face will hysterically attack.
Unlike other humans, he was born with a powerful magic blessing but everyone thought it was a curse and would bring destruction so it was about to be killed, but his parents managed to hide it even though they had to move places when it was discovered. Unfortunately, now he has become a kara and tries to blend in with humans.
"S-one just."
While handing the coin to one of the bakery owners, the young man reached out to receive the bread proffered but a person who had rushed over hit his shoulder to the ground, making his cape plunge and revealing a pair of dreaded purple eyes.
The bread sword then shouted that the young man was a witch. Without a second thought, the young man ran while tightly hugging his flatbread as the people behind, right left and front tried to surround him. There was no choice but to use magic, so he created a light that glared from the hand until everyone closed their eyes. On that day, the citizens began to fret over the existence of witches, they thought maybe witches would be a big threat so the hunt began, but the hunt is starting to become a serious problem as witches are born with captivating visuals, many of them making it into slaves on* and then trafficked.
Hirtes, the young man was enraged, his beautiful magic power seemed unfit to attack humans so he begged greatly to exchange the blessing for a terrifying magic in order to punish humans. However, after spreading chaos and witches became very feared, Hitres so forgot himself and wanted to enslave humans, became king but he was instead stranded, falling in love with the royal princess retkan.
The woman named Yasril looked at herself differently. Their meeting begins in the spring, where Yasril rescues Hirtes who is severely injured after being attacked by Saintess. Yasril falls in love with Hirtes purple eyes and the man's personality slowly warms up despite hating his presence.
Hirtes secretly curtailed his bad intentions and chose to spend time with Yasril but the relationship was known by the king and Yasril was locked in the palace. Hirtes does not accept and tries to get Yasril any way, but his attack injures Yasril. Yasril was exposed to black magic and gnawed at the curse slowly.
Hitres was regretful and badly hit and the condition was utilized by the saintess to kill Hitres with his vitagya sword, a sword that possessed incredible power. The sword was heavily punched on Hitres' chest however, the man used the rest of his magic to go back asking for something on his goddess, Hecate.
"Let me break through this mistake. Please, this time let me protect her, I want to see her again even if I can't have her. I just want to see her happy also stop the feud between humans and witches. Please give me your mercy, Goddess Hecate."
After the plea was made, Hecate granted the wish and allowed Hitres to be reborn as Haetric, reuniting him with Yasril's reincarnation Gaia Kahina Seil but the path Hecate gave was not easy.
