The sudden ensnaring pain was no longer felt, but Gaia instead found herself waking up in a foreign room, a dense aura of magic and curses and a second prince-faced man.

"Viren's Residence?"

Gaia wakes up, sitting on the back of the bed with her legs crossed. The violet-eyed man sitting on the sofa not far from the bed was silent while flicking his fingers and not long before a servant entered while pushing a silver trolley containing dinner.

"You suddenly got a nosebleed and passed out."

Haetric glanced at the wry expression Gaia showed. While the woman thought her condition was getting worse when previously it did not bleed. He wondered how long his life would be.

"What does God bet on your life?"

"Danger if I tell you. If you agree on the deal I'm offering, all without exception will be informed. Sure includes how to save you from the penalty of losing a bet."

Haetric laughed short. "There's no need to answer anything, after all your offer is useless to me."

Haetric got up from the sofa and went out. "After feeling better please go home, I can change my mind if you linger here."

"No need, I'll go home now."

Haetric was surprised when Gaia's hand first grabbed the doorknob, pushed it open first and flashed but unknowingly Haetric actually held Gaia's departure by blocking the wrist.

A pale face and a cold body, Haetric was not sure to let the woman go home in such conditions let alone not wear a thick coat when the night wind was blowing quite fierce and piercing.

"Have you changed your mind? You're gonna kill me?"

Instead of answering, Haetric took off his coat and threw it into Gaia's head, covering her smaller body.

"Look, are you worried about me now?" Gaia immediately put on the coat despite being a little upset that Haetric gave it away in a disrespectful manner.

Once again, Haetric simply kept silent and turned his back to Gaia, waiting for the woman to quickly step aside from her sight but a second later before completely leaving her residence, Gaia's words stunned Haetric.

"I don't hate you, either your real looks or your past. To me you're still the Haetric I knew when we first danced together. I'm glad to know you, Haetric. Good night."

After a long moment of immersion, he went straight to the window, looking out at the distance where Gaia had just left the main gate of the Viren residence.

"Did the Master really want to kill the Miss? If there was no one, we would have been dead by then. Though we often receive hatred but the lady did not look at us like any other human being."

Sihan appeared behind Haetric, taking notice of Gaia's departure.

"He's the biggest obstacle to our plans for revenge. If it fails just because of that, do you not regret it, Sihan? Don't you remember how your brothers were killed?" Haetric is unhappy.

Sihan turned his face because he could not answer Haetric's question on the other side Haetric actually flashed. Gaia's words succeeded in disturbing her feelings and thoughts.

...***...

The Tagh forest has been confirmed as the location of the poaching event. This monster-filled forest made duke agneto's smile endlessly expand. Before the event began, he had scattered dozens of sacks of powder that could make monsters lose their minds and run amok, coming out of hiding nests.

Surely, today there will be an extraordinarily frightening incident for everyone attending the hunting event. The gallant horses that the noble men rode on made the noble ladies screech cheerfully.

The event was attended by nobles. The women present will be chosen by the men to be presented with the monster of the hunt, the man who gets the most hunting results will present a rose of gold to the woman he chooses on the other hand, the woman who gets the most money from the men who give up the hunt for her will be crowned as the queen of the hunt, a event that is quite unique and different.

And this time, everyone guessed that the woman was Irian because the familiarity Rahid had shown to Irian upon arriving at the location had stolen the attention of the nobles.

Tents have been built and are emblematic of noble families, especially the largest tent is the property of the tyrant.

"I haven't given you a blessing this morning." Gaia entered the tent and approached Rahid who was wiping the sharp blade of the sword.

Without turning his head and rising from his seat Rahid refused the blessing so Gaia slightly jerked.

"Isn't this on contract?"

Rahid glanced at Gaia with a puff. "Didn't you see where we are? Do you want to steal the show because it's hot to hear Irian being the main star?"

Gaia frowned. "Aren't your words too harsh?"

Rahid stood up, looking down at the woman who was slightly shorter than him. "Should I speak politely to a ladyboy? Keep your boundaries."

After saying so Rahid stroked away without turning his head again while Gaia froze in her position, her chest feeling full and crowded.

"What happened to you guys?"

Damien approaches Gaia first until attention turns to her. Anyone knows that Damien was notoriously difficult to approach even under the leadership of the previous king.

"Since yesterday he's been cold to me."

Damien then looked at Rahid who was busy stroking the head of the horse to be ridden.

"Are you doing something bad?"

"It seems he suspected I was treasonous." Gaia smiled awkwardly.

Damien exhaled. Seen from anywhere, Gaia could not have done that especially when the last time they were in the northern region.

"I'll talk to him. He's pretty stubborn."

Gaia just nods her head then lets Damien approach Rahid after that suddenly Wysia approaches and asks Gaia to join with other noble women to enjoy a small tea banquet in the tent.

Duars!

Explosions directed at the sky gave off a loud bang, a sign that the hunt was beginning. In an instant the men darted into the deep forest, almost two hours had passed since the men had hunted and no one had returned to the sky suddenly so dark as if a great rain would pour down the forest without mercy.

Argh!

The roar of the monsters resonated as the wind gushed, some noble ladies hugged each other along with the knights protecting them.

"Sir, what's going on?"

Wysia approached Gaia who had been holding the sword hilt, staring around vigilantly.

"It looks like His Majesty will arrive first. Do you know that His Majesty promised me his victory? Maybe it was the sound of a monster that took his life in His Majesty's hands." Irian said out loud as he smirked cynically at Gaia.

Gaia returned Irian's smile no less cynical. "really? What if it's a monster coming closer?"

Irian tightens the jaw. "There may be monsters coming out of this forest. No mung—"

Irian's words stopped. He forgot that the wind was blowing hard and most likely the powder was carried by the wind and spread to all corners of this forest.

"Looks like Lady Gaia was right!"

The women screamed loudly at the bull-shaped monster standing on both legs and holding one hand a large wood that came from a broken tree.

The knights begin to protect each of their masters however, not all of them are experienced in dealing with monsters except for the palace special forces led by Argio, duke agneto's army, the duke's northern special forces, the, the armies of the knights of Israel and several others.

"Protect the women and the priests!" Argio exclaimed loudly as other monsters sprung up nonstop and roared with drool dripping.

"Shield up, Wysia."

Gaia immediately pushed Wysia into the circle of guarding the knights and joined in to draw her sword at the monsters.

Argio was wide-eyed, not expecting that Gaia had managed to subvert one by one the monsters without any difficulty. The knights from the northern region were clucking especially the dame who made a defense behind the attackers.

"What the fuck is that noble lady?"

"Where did it come from?"

"Isn't she His Majesty's maid?"

"That's the Princess of Marquess Israel."

Gaia did not care, her listening senses were as if deaf as the rush of rain began. Fortunately, she was wearing pants behind her dress so she looked reckless, her sword tore up the skirt of the dress that had been stained with the blood of monsters.

"Ukh! That's a curse, right?" Gaia widened her eyes while catching the figure of the man in the forest shrouded in curses.

Without a second thought, Gaia immediately entered the forest thinking that the monsters were acting out because of that person but who would have thought that he ended up very deep in an area that had been filled with wolves that were mad because of black magic, it's been planned.
