'He's terrible.' Lexia muttered.

Carol approached nency who was still holding her cheek, not expecting in a few days her cheek in a slap, red and scarred it was a mark imprinted on her cheek.

Xaphier's light hands had no remorse on his face, he looked at Lexia and left.

'The man is light-handed, he can hit anytime and anyone, are we really blooded?' lexia's murmur still stands between nency and Carol. Lexia glared her nency, she held back her tears but her eyes were still fixed on daren.

'What is your relationship with Mr. Xaphier, why are you with them, what does the caesaar family mean.' Carol whispered, until only Lexia heard his words.

"You didn't hear, Xaphier said 'the caesaar family', you know what that means?

Carol glared at Lexia but her face still did not understand the situation. Lexia rolled her eyes.

"He's my brother, ugh why should I tell you guys." Lexia leaves Carol with her mouth open.

"She's lying right?, how could that scavenger girl be the caesaar's famous extended family, what nonsense, what lies does lexia have planned." Carol said with a grunt.

"And you." Carol pointed and flicked her finger in front of nency's face.

"Stop looking at Daren, just look at him! You were slapped by Xaphier and he just stood there doing nothing just worrying about that scavenger girl." Carol said as she pulled her nency arm roughly.

Lexia held Daren's arm, her attention slightly distracted while Xaphier slapped nency, she was a light-handed man. Lexia looked at the dreamy Daren.

"You worried about nency?" Lexia.

Daren turned to look at lexia who was twitching her hands in Daren's arms.

"That's not what I think, dear, but Xaphier's attitude, I worry a little about his attitude.

"What do you mean, Daren? Because he hit nency?" Lexia looked up at daren.

"I don't think he's too close to lexia, even though he's your own brother, his attitude looks different." Say Daren holding lexia's hand.

"Of course he's creepy he's a mafia boss like the ones in the movies." Lexia loud. Daren shuts lexia's mouth because one of Xaphier's men, Paulo, turns around when he hears lexia.

Xaphier smiled obliquely listening to the rambling of lexia behind him.

"Be.is that really aunty?" Said Carol who came to the Burchard mansion when she heard this shocking news, nency was there with a compress attached to her cheek.

"Yes, she is Caesaar Rodrigo's biological daughter and Xaphier's sister caesaar, ukh, I can't imagine the girl's arrogant face when I meet her later, I hope not to see her again." Barbara said as she sipped the drink in her hand, her eyes glanced when she saw the small stirring nency.

"What's wrong with her?" Ask.

Carol was walking to her waist while looking at nency. "He was slapped by Xaphier." Her speech.

"slapped? What's he doing." Ask Carol.

Carol rolled her eyes. "You know what this girl did? He comes to them, but we're hiding, when he sees Daren's fear as if it's gone, he's so obsessed with daren."

Barbara hiccups while chuckling. "Just give up nency, what you're dealing with now isn't a scavenger girl anymore, she's caesaar's daughter, you understand what I mean isn't it??" Nency shook her head, with a stubborn attitude.

"You could have disappeared all of a sudden, or you could have died without knowing the cause, you understand if I mentioned Xaphier, he was the boss of the mafia in Milan, and was famous for his cruelty, don't ever deal with that scavenger girl again." Barbara tried to advise nency with the bottle in her hand.

Carol has goosebumps, though she is often with the men of the great businessmen of New York, but she never deals with the mafia, just imagining it scares Carol.

After meeting Lexia and his father, Daren feels uneasy, he always thinks that Xaphier is planning something for lexia.

Daren sat in his room, his eyes fixed on Xaphier's identity. "A mafia?" Half of the city of Milan has become its power, especially not only that, its people have spread in America. Daren exhaled and leaned back in her chair.

The sound of knocking from outside made him turn around. "Lake in." Evan goes in and hands over the important data for today, then he reports something to Daren.

"Sir, there's a young man in front of the gate, his name is Edoardo, he claims to be a friend of the mistress of lexia." Evan.

"Let him in, I'll see him." Said Daren loosening his tie.

Edo in Daren's room, he opens the door and lets Edo in accompanied by Evan, after driving him, Evan leaves and closes the door to Daren's room.

They look at each other. "We meet again Edo." Daren said, he still remembers Edo's words when he asked about his feelings for lexia.

"You must have heard about my marriage to lexia." Daren.

Edo nodded. "Yes, I've heard it, I just came here to see Lexia and make sure she's okay." Edo said boldly.

"Make sure lexia's okay?" Daren's jaw tightened slightly, Edo did not hide the feeling he wanted to say.

"Yes, he's been my friend since we were kids and ever since we were in that slum, I've been worried about lexia." Her speech.

Daren exhaled and then took his phone. "Darling, come here someone wants to see you." Said Daren, he said 'honey' clearly so that edo knows how lexia feels to Daren.

Not long after Daren's door opened, it appeared that lexia in his pajamas was walking and yawning.

"Contactments? Who's Daren?" Lexia. His eyes looked at the figure of the man sitting before daren. Lexia looked at him a little and was surprised.

"Edo !? You're here?!" Ask.

Edo smiled faintly. "Yes lexia I just want to hear from you." Edo smiled faintly. Lexia hit Edo on the head. "What's wrong with your face Edo, you're like you're breaking up."

"How about we eat together?" Daren.

"Good idea." Lexia pulled edo's hand and then hit him on the back. "You'll see what I'm capable of, I've been able to cook Edo, you'll be amazed by my cooking." Daren squinted at the familiarity of lexia with edo, although so lexia behaved towards Edo like meeting his own brother, it was still tolerated by daren.

They had three dinners together, Edo's face beaming while talking familiarly with lexia, even so, the chatty lexia still hit Edo at will, he seemed to return to his bad attitude.

After a long conversation with Edo, he finally came home.

"Where do you live Edo?" Ask lexia.

"I'm still living in my usual place, and I'm still working with William, I'm getting good results there." Edo said honestly. Daren standing behind lexia.

"Lexia I'm gone." He turned to Daren. "Protect lexia well sir, I don't want him to get hurt." Edo.

He waved his hand at Edo and he immediately left in his dull car. "He's still working with William? that man is dangerous." Lexia.

Daren still crossed both hands in front of lexia. "What?!" Ask lexia.

"You pulled his hand, hit him all you wanted, and leaned on him, and you showed me your familiarity in front of me." Daren squinted both of his eyes.

"That's because I'm used to it, me and Edo are like brothers, we've been friends since childhood, we used to scavenge garbage and sell it together." Lexia to Daren.

Suddenly the hug from Daren to lexia was so tight. "Are you suffering?" Bisik. Lexia smiled and shook her head.

"No, I'm not suffering, why are you asking like that?" Ask.

Daren lifting lexia. Then smiled obliquely. "i'll say it if we get to the back room." whispered daren, making lexia glare at him.

"Why do you have to do it after eating daren?" lexia stared in wonder at Daren.

"I told you, you're my dessert." Bisik daren in front of the entrance of his village.

Black BMWi8 car parked not far from the villa owned by daren, Xaphier stared at the scene that had just happened. "Who's the young man who just came to Burchard's house." Ask Paulo.

Paulo sat in front and turned around. "His name is Edoardo, he was one of the friends of mrs celia, when he was a scavenger in the Kenzo family."

"Oh yeah, where he works." Ask.

"He worked at one of the Clubs in Manhattan, the man who hired him was William Luther." Paulo.

"We're leaving." Xaphier's word was still staring from a distance at Lexia's happy smile with Daren.

Lexia had fallen asleep and slept well from exhaustion, while Daren was still awake, she was so agitated, as a recent Evan report said Xaphier and his men were spying on her villa.

"What does he want? If he wants to meet lexia, he should just call me, what does that man want to do to spy on us?" Daren said, he sat down and leaned his head on the end of the bed while crossing. Why is he so agitated? Ever since he met Xaphier, he felt he had to be on his guard.

Cellphone's ringing. Daren picked it up and let Evan hear. "What's Evan?" Ask.

"Strictly security, if necessary add security at every corner." Daren.

"Good sir."

'He's a mafia.what exactly does Xaphier want with lexia.' murmured daren, he rubbed lexia's sleeping face.

"I'll protect you lexia." Bisik.

The club was just like the previous nights, bustling and filled with club dancers curling their bodies, one of the women at the club that night walked into William's room.

"What's wrong?" Ask.

"The important man from Milan just came sir, he's Xaphier caesaar, and he wants to see you." Said the woman reporting Xaphier's arrival.

William stopped drinking. He then stood up and immediately walked out of his room. He walked in front of the VIP door guarded by several of his bodyguards.

The door opened, William went inside and suddenly he was so shocked that thick blood flowed on the floor with a body figure lying helplessly on the floor.

His eyes widened and fixed on the man sitting leisurely on the soft chair while letting out smoke from his mouth, he smiled obliquely looking in shock at William's face.

"He's one of your employees?" Xaphier.

"Yes, he...." His eyes widened while staring at the figure lying face down with blood seeping from his temples and chest.

"The..!" William said. He remained calm, his eyes looking at Xaphier's grinning face towards Edo.

"I beat up this young man a little bit because he was disrespectful and didn't do his job well." Xaphier.

"Bring him before me, before I change my mind and remove him forever from this world." Xaphier.

A few people from William's club entered and carried Edo's helpless body, he fainted and shed blood.

"Do you know Celia?" Ask.

"No !" William said.

"really? If lexia you knew him, right?" Xaphier.

"Yes, I know lexia, he worked in the Burchard family and...

Xaphier raised his index finger so that William would stop talking. "You must forget that, forget the past of lexia who was a scavenger, because he was a descendant of Caesaar." Xaphier.

A line appears between William's eyebrows. "Caesar's descendants?" Ask.

"And a descendant of Caesaar had not the slightest defect in his life including the sad life story of lexia."

He beckoned Paulo and they immediately ambushed William and beat him up, not knowing what Xaphier's purpose was to beat up people who knew lexia who knew his background.

"Is he acting again?" Said Mr. Caesaar.

"Yes sir, some of Miss Celia's friends were beaten up." Said one of the men in black who always followed Xaphier because of master caesaar's orders.

"He was like his father looking for such pleasure just because he was bored, what should I do to change Xaphier's attitude." Mr. caesaar exhaled.

Lexia woke up early in the morning, she stared blankly at Daren's bed. Lexia got up from her bed and walked over and opened her bedroom window.

"Did Daren start jogging again?" Said lexia yawning while tightly closing his body which was only covered by a blanket. Lexia saw Daren from a distance running in the morning. He simply waved his hand towards lexia who was staring at him from above his villa.

Breakfast this time made by lexia of course, because of the frequent lexia that cooks, lexia, the chef at the villa was always out of the villa and only came if Evan called him and said madam lexia was not cooking anymore, so the chef would be back soon.

Daren had just arrived from his jog, and the breakfast lexia had prepared was also finished.

"I'll take a shower, baby." Daren kissed lexia's cheek and went upstairs to clean himself up.

Evan's steps that came in a hurry made lexia turn around. "What's Evan why are you in such a hurry?" Her speech.

"Erm.there's nothing madam, I'm just giving the usual report to Mr. Daren." Evan said politely and retreated then towards Daren's room.

"What's up? Why does her face look so worried?" Lexia muttered. After Daren cleans himself up, he goes straight to his room, knowing that Evan is waiting for him.

"What's evan?" Ask.

"Sir, I've got reports that Mr. Xaphier went to see William and his men beat him up until Mr. William goes to the hospital." Her speech.

Daren fell silent and looked at the file in front of him.

"Then, before he attacked master william, he beat the mistress friend lexia to a pulp, and had to undergo surgery because his chest was pierced by a sharp object, he was still unconscious until now, fortunately, he could still be saved." Evan.

Darren's worries were all but answered, after seeing Evan's files, he finally found out that Xaphier was so obsessed with caesaar's big name, and not just that, but that, he likes to act cruel and at will on the basis of his pleasure alone.

"Stay close to them, and I need you to report Willian and Edoardo to me, one more, don't tell lexia." Daren.

"Good sir."

Late ! lexia has heard everything, about William and about Edo. Lexia was furious but she held him back, she did not expect that Xaphier would do all that just for fun.

"Lexia darling?" said Daren. He observed lexia who had been silent since, he seemed to think of something.

"What's wrong?" daren asked while pulling lexia's face to look at her. Lexia just smiled faintly.

"There's nothing Daren but.There's one thing I want to ask, and don't lie because I'll know Daren."

"What do you want to ask, baby?" daren. Lexia was silent for a while and then looked back at Daren.

"I just want to know who beat up Edo" said Lexia calmly. Daren is surprised that Lexia knows Edo's current condition.

"Did anyone beat him up Xaphier?" lexia. Daren shook his head. "He's the guy who always accompanies Xaphier, his name is Paulo."

"Paulo's? That flat guy with glasses?" tanyakanya.

"He beat up Edo because of Xaphier's orders, I don't understand his way of thinking, why he hit people who have anything to do with you" Daren said. Lexia's furious face she brimmed, she didn't want to look terrible in front of daren.

"Daren's? I want to visit Edo at the hospital." whispered lexia who was leaning on daren's neck. "Okay, baby, we'll be heading to the hospital soon."

That day they visited the hospital in Oklahoma city, after visiting the two of them, lexia was still silent in the car after seeing the condition of Edo who was still unconscious from his operation.

Daren's phone rang, he immediately picked it up. "Hello, we're on our way, well we'll be here soon" Daren said.

"Who's daren?" ask lexia.

"He's one of Mr. Caesaar's aides, he wants us to gather and have lunch together, this is Mr. Caesaar's own request" Daren said.

"Where is that place?" tanyakanya.

"Not far from here, soon we will meet with master caesaar."

Darren's car finally reached a large mansion with the words welcome Celia.

They parked their car in front of a large mansion with several pillars in each of its buildings. The mansion looks like a palace, with a giant lion statue standing before it.

They were all there including master caesaar, he welcomed the arrival of Lexia and daren. Lexia's eyes are looking for a man named Paulo. And he was standing right behind Xaphier. Lexia walked quickly away from Daren who was astonished by lexia's rapid pace, lexia half-running and approaching Paulo. The people staring at Lexia's actions were astonished as to why she was walking towards Paulo.

Suddenly, Lexia pushed Paulo so hard that he punched him in the face several times that he was pushed back and his nose was bleeding.

Daren then ran and held onto the rebellious lexia, he was still hitting and kicking the man named paulo.

"IF YOU DARE TOUCH EDO AGAIN ! I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR UGLY NECK !" lexia shouted, pointing violently at Paulo.

master Caesar simply stared at lexia's behavior and exhaled his breath. "There is no doubt that he is of Caesaar descent" Caesaar said.
