Flashbacks

Lexia banged on the door of the car and looked for its doorknob, and luckily it opened, by dragging its wounded body and its blood-stained head, lexia immediately got out of the smoky car.

His eyes searched for the bald man who had brought him to the point of death, but he found him nowhere.

"The loser ran away, and didn't try to save me and just left, just be careful if we meet again." Lexia tried to find a place to rest. His head was extremely sore, his white-colored clothes were already filled with blood spots.

Lexia rushed away from the car, minutes later the car exploded with a powerful explosion, lexia lowered his body to hide behind rocks and trees, and the car was blown away, the explosion followed, causing him to duck until the explosion stopped.

Black smoke billowed over the place a moment later lexia began to stare at the rubble strewn around him, he stared at the uninhabited place, no one could help him, no one, he could not afford to walk far, his head was very sore and dizzy, lexia stared at the surroundings with a blurred look and he finally fell unconscious among the rocks.

The young man named Roy suddenly stopped, his eyes staring at the body lying near the rocks close to the exploding car.

"Pa.paman look there's a woman lying there." He said while touching his uncle's body. They immediately rushed over to the lying body.

The middle-aged man examined the condition of the lexia that had fallen unconscious. "Did he die?" Ask.

"No, she's alive, luckily this woman got out of that car before it exploded, we'd better take her to the village, we'll have to treat her injuries." Her speech.

"But uncle, you know what the rules are in the village, they won't let uncle bring just anyone to enter our village, uncle can be fined very large by Mr. Arlond." Said a young man named Roy.

"So you want to leave him alone until he dies just because of that stingy Mr. Arlond, let me take care of him later, so you just follow what uncle says."

The young man took a deep breath and followed his uncle's words. They brought lexia for a while to the small house in their garden, where there was already the wife of the middle-aged man.

"God..Hendrik, who's this woman?" He looked at the lexia lying on a wooden bed.

"You guys get out first, I want to change her clothes and treat her wounds." Said the woman. They both listened to him and finally got out of the house.

After the lexia was given care by the woman, they finally took her to a village called Turtle the Reaves, although the residents did not welcome the arrival of foreigners who came to their village but this family named Hendrik Delvario took good care of lexia, although they were in the village but their attitude was very friendly to the villagers.

Lexia was laid down in an empty room, the woman looked at Lexia and wiped the sweat on her forehead, reminding her of her dead daughter, so they just help lexia no matter the opinion of the residents and officers who ask for fines to them with large amounts.

Lexia started to open her heavy eyes despite her all-pain body but a little bit she started to feel her consciousness, she then looked around her.

"Ugh where is this?" Said lexia trying to sit down, he stared at the surroundings, not long after that middle-aged woman who was the wife of a man named Hendrik immediately entered into the room and smiled kindly to lexia.

"You're all human? What about your head, are you still dizzy?" Ask.

Lexia nodded and looked at him.

"Yes, of course you'll get dizzy, a pretty hard bump hit on the back of your head, so you better not move too much first." His words commemorate while putting a tray on top of which there is a bowl of porridge and water.

"Where is this Madam?" Ask lexia.

He smiled kindly. "You're in a safe place, you're in turtle the Reaver village, you've heard of our village?" Ask.

Lexia shook her head slowly.

"Sure you haven't heard of it, have you? This village is very remote and rarely visited by outsiders, especially we have strict regulations regarding anyone who enters and leaves our village, so I want to remind you not to ever get out of this house because not all residents here are friendly to strangers." Her speech.

"Ba..baik." said lexia wonder, he did not know that in modern times like this there are villages that are still isolated and do not accept people from outside their village.

"I know you must be surprised, right? But that is the rule in our village has been passed down from our ancestors who first inhabited this place until now, Oh yes by the way what is your name Nak?" Ask curiously.

"My name is lexia Burchard." Lexia uses the last name Daren instead of Kenzo or Caesaar.

"Burchards?" Ask.

"That's my husband's last name." Said lexia again.

The woman was surprised, then smiled kindly. "So you're married? Do you have children?" Ask.

Lexia smiled and nodded.

"Yes, I have a son, he's only 1 year and two months old." Lexia.

"really? You must miss her so much." Smiling words. "Then get some rest, then when you're better, you can call your family." He smiled then left lexia for him to rest.

Lexia seems anxious, for two days lexia has not met the husband and wife, either where they go, but every day food is still brought to lexia by a young man named Roy. He was not at all friendly but he still brought food for lexia.

"Here you eat, don't you ask?" He asked when he brought me lunch for lexia.

"Yes, what do I want to ask you, where are Mrs and Mr Hendrik?" Ask lexia.

The young man then leaned against the door and smiled mockingly. "It's all because of you, you know ! uncle can't pay the fine for putting a stranger into this village, and Mr. Arlond is asking for double what you should be because you've been here for a while." Said exasperated.

"really? How much did the man named Lord Roland ask for?" Ask lexia.

"How can you help them? To help yourself you're in trouble."

"Hey, you didn't hear me, how much did that guy named Arlond ask?" Lexia said irritatedly.

"Hem, why? how much money do you have? The man asked uncle for 500 dollars." Roy said with annoyance.

"What's that fine, isn't that blackmail, are you sure you weren't fooled by it?"

"Sstt, lest the villagers hear you, you may be immediately expelled from this village or you will be taken to their bars, you do not know how terrible Mr. Arlond's bars are." Her speech.

"Eat it, I'm doing all this at my uncle's and aunt's request, if she doesn't ask me where I'm going to do all this." He closed the door and left the house.

The helicopter was headed to the point where the village called Turtle The Reaves, they were already looking for the safest place to make a landing after being in the air about 6 hours away.

The dense trees made it difficult for the helicopter to make landfall, fortunately not far from the village there was a small field, where the helicopter could make landfall.

Daren and the others got off the helicopter and immediately ran over and slightly lowered their heads, after arriving at a safe place, the helicopter finally stopped and landed there.

Lexia peeked for a moment and looked at the citizens doing her activities.

"Damn, why is my heart pounding? am I gonna be dragged to jail if I get out of this house?" lexia was confused and a little scared. His feet wanted to move but doubts continued to loom over him.

"Mr Daren we've arrived." Said the man.

They stared at the long and quite large gate like a fortress. The gate was made of wood and some people were guarding there. The three of them stood up when they saw 6 men coming to their village.

"What's needed in our village." His words are not friendly. They stared at one of the six men who looked dangerous to them even though the six of them held no weapons at all, instead the three of them held arrows and spears in their hands.

"We're looking for someone, did you find a woman who fell from the abyss?" tanyakanya.

They glanced at each other and one of them answered Daren's question. "There are no women like you said, you better leave, we don't accept foreigners entering our territory" he said.

Daren stared at them sharply. "What if you guys let us check for a second? give us a little time." said Daren trying as warm as possible.

They laughed mockingly, one of them rubbed his nose then took a step forward and stood right in front of Daren, Their four bodyguards just went forward, taking a step forward, Daren raised one hand signaling them to calm down.

The three men saw how Daren was commanding the four men behind him, making the gatekeepers retreat a few steps.

"Let me check for a second, how?" Darren's words are getting irritated.

They were still unmoved, but one of them immediately went inside the gate to report it to the old man named Mr. Arlond. They waited for a few minutes, after which the skinny man came out back from the gate.

"Our master does not allow you to check, if you insist we will not hesitate to....

Daren could not stand their rude behavior anymore, he pulled the collar of one of the men, two other men aimed at his spear but four of Daren's bodyguards issued firearms to the three men, they just dropped their guns.

"As long as I'm still being nice, then work together, otherwise you'll see how this village will end up in my hands." Said Daren while pushing her hard enough.

"Si..who are you?" Saying one of them, Roy took a walk around the gate and approached the commotion he heard.

"What's Uncle Bill?" Roy asked looking at Daren and the people standing behind them.

"Go, this is your business, you better go to your uncles and aunts, take care of him while they're in custody." His impact.

Roy stared insolently at the man named bill and muttered a rude curse at him, his eyes now turning to Daren who was also looking at him.

"You looking for someone sir?" Roy's speech made the three men beside him look exasperatedly at him.

"Yes, I'm looking for a woman who fell from the ravine, I want to examine this village for a bit, maybe she's here." Daren.

"Woman who fell from the abyss?" Her speech.

Roy's words made Daren look at him. "Did you find the woman who fell from the ravine with the car that exploded nearby.

"You're looking for that woman? Erm.. I forgot her name, Oh yeah I remember now, you guys are looking for a woman named Lexia Burchard right? Then come with me." Say lightly.

Daren and the others were very surprised, Daren stepped quickly over to Roy and held both of his shoulders. "Where is.where is he now?" ask her with a trembling voice.

"You can come with me." He said with a cynical smile to the three men who were there staring in annoyance at Roy.
