The lacing came rolling in a row when hearing the terrible news from one of her secretaries, through the cell divider that was only separated by glass, Melda heard all that, she said, it was as if someone had stabbed the sharpest knife right into his heart.

"Ap.what are you saying, repeat once again." He said with a pushy eye, dark circles have been mapped under his eyes that are now wrinkled because there is no powder coating that fortifies until Melda looks really old.

"All your assets in the company have been taken over by Mr. Adrick Rudolf, with this your company becomes the property of Mr. Adrick and the assets you plant in the company Corner Corporation in Switzerland as well as all your shares have been taken over by Rdf Corporation." Her speech.

That day Lexia was shopping with Nara at the department store, lexia was looking to shop for Axton's equipment which was soon the first birthday, while staring at the cute clothes for Axton with Nara.

So the two of them went shopping together, as usual these two young Madam bought so many items that two bodyguards followed them to bring the groceries she bought.

"hem, really? why was an important meeting held in a place like this?" Lexia and Nara wanted to make sure that it was indeed Daren with his business colleagues.

"I look forward to the next cooperation, Mr. Daren." Said the man he smiled as he greeted Daren, they shook hands then not long after they left.

"Daren?" Call lexia, make everyone who is there together stare at lexia who is walking to Daren's place.

"Daren pulled lexia's hand and gave a flash of lightning to his lips. "You guys finished lunch?" Her speech. Lexia nodded, some of her office co-workers who were still there stared at lexia.

"Is she your wife, Mr. Daren?" Asked a man beside daren with a friendly smile.

"Yes, she's my wife." Answer's short. Daren seemed unwilling to linger there showing off lexia in front of his business friends, he quickly brought lexia after speaking to them briefly and immediately said goodbye.

The atmosphere in the car was less pleasant especially Nara was there listening to the conversation of the two of them.

"Not hiding you lexia, I just don't want them to get my weakness by seeing you there, not all of my business associates are either lexia, sometimes they take the opportunity to take down their rivals in a sneaky way though, and I don't want you to get involved with any of that" Daren said.

Lexia was silent, she did not look at Daren, she just looked at the glass window beside her. Meanwhile Nara was speechless and only replied to every incoming message from Xaphier every few hours, today she knew Nara was shopping together with lexia and it made her look ridiculous as it was too overprotective of Nara.

They arrive at the mansion, lexia doesn't say anything when they arrive, he walks over and walks into Ax's playroom his son, having seen his son playing around with some servants, and, lexia immediately rested on one of the soft sofas, he leaned his body on the chair. He knew Daren was right, running a big company wasn't as easy as it seemed but lexia didn't feel that way, is Daren just looking for an excuse for lexia to feel okay and not feel offended by Daren's attitude towards him earlier.

Lexia observes her son picking up a toy and throwing it, then searching for it back. Lexia supports her chin, then thinks about her life. She knew she should be grateful for everything she had, she had a husband and son who loved her, she shouldn't complain about her life.

"Am I coming to the moon? why am I so sensitive?" lexia told himself.

lexia took his son and carried him, he took him to the park, that afternoon the air was still warm and the sun was not hot anymore, the number of trees made Lexia decide to take Ax sitting on a garden chair while playing around there. Lexia saw Daren's car coming out of the gate of the mansion, she was gone again because there was a meeting with her business partner again.

Lexia took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Here you go, I don't want to think complicated, everything's gonna be okay, isn't it Ax?" lexia kisses the cheek of his son who is soon to have a birthday.

Daren took a deep breath and immediately picked up her bag and immediately walked out of her office.

The door opened and saw the face that Daren recognized was sitting while holding the friendly hand of the man beside him.

"Carl?" daren looked at her, and the man next to her was her own husband.

"Hi Daren, long time no see you" he said with a smile.

"He was my business partner in Manhattan" Xaphier told Carol's side of the tall man with blond hair, greeting Daren and smiling kindly.
