Escape 2

The black Chevrolet drove fast, it had been a few hours of lexia escape from the Burchard mansion.

Edo stared at lexia from the windshield of his car. "you look different lexia." Edo.

"really? Yeah I'm different, I'm prettier, right?" Said lexia as he unpacked the contents of his bag and took his jacket as the night air made his body shiver.

"It seems like your brain has changed too." Sindir Edo's.

"Be quiet, you better watch the street in front of you, lest they come after us." Lexia stretched her body across the car seat, she exhaled, only this time did lexia feel this free during her confinement in the mansion.

Lexia knows that she has violated her contract, even though she has signed it, but she wants to be released from the family and boring.

"Are you actually working for who's lexia?" Ask Edo.

"Ugh don't you ask, just a high-class family, that's all you need to know, they're dangerous you better not need to know their surnames."

"Why indeed?"

"Later I'll tell you, okay ! We need to get out of this town as soon as possible, they're gonna be looking for me in every corner of Manhattan." Said lexia while staring at the glittering light from outside the dull car window.

Daren had arrived at his mansion, Evan walked over to Daren with several bodyguards behind him.

"How did he escape?" Daren asked still in a calm voice.

"He's through the kitchen sir." Evan.

"Who did you see him running away with?"

"There's a car waiting for him in the corner of sir's street alley, it looks like he's already planning his escape." Said one of the guards.

"Find him and find him." Say darren in a cold and gripping voice.

Daren stepped up and entered his mansion, he then remembered the letter Lexia had given him, he took it from inside his drawer and read it.

'You lied to me daren, grandma Rossie has died, I have no reason to work with you, goodbye.'

Daren tore the paper violently and threw it on the floor.

"Damn ! It was fitting that the girl's attitude had become strange, apparently she already knew." Daren called someone.

"So soon spread the Burchards around every corner of Manhattan, I don't care how, you have to find him, bring him to me." Threatened him.

Lexia fell asleep along the way, only Edo was driving and survived her drowsiness.

Lexia furrowed her brows, then yawned and stared at the streets around her.

"Where are we Edo?" Ask lexia.

"We're in the Bronx, wake up we'll stop by for breakfast." Said Edo who pulled over his car at a fast food restaurant. Lexia and Edo got out of the car and got into the restaurant.

Lexia rolled her gaze around every corner.

"What's lexia?"

"I have to check it out, it could be the people around here." Her speech.

Edo looked at lexia, just this time he was staring at lexia fixedly, the change was clearly visible, it was clear, she's not like lexia the garbage pengais but a normal beautiful girl who usually hangs out with cool or popular girls and guys.

"You why Edo?" Ask.

"Different? If you mean my idiot look whenever I can turn him stupid, so stop looking at me you're making me creep."

Edo laughed, he then returned to the usual Edo and did not look awkward anymore.

when their order had come lexia ate voraciously. "Lexia's pants, you can damage your esophagus." Tegur Edo's.

"I'm so hungry." Lexia with a full mouth. Edo stared intently at anyone who looked suspicious.

"I can help you hide lexia until those people give up looking for you." Edo sipped a cold drink in front of him.

"Where is that safe place?" Ask lexia.

"I know someone, usually I work for him delivering important things."

"It looks like that guy sounds dangerous, what's his name?" Ask lexia.

"Luther, William Luther."

Lexia spilled a drink from her mouth because she was so shocked.

"You okay?" Edo asked, then continued his talk about a man named William Luther.

He's the owner of one of Manhattan's biggest armaments companies, you don't tell anyone yes, he's an important man in Manhattan, every Genk or dangerous man knows who William Luther is, he's not really, so we have to be careful."

Lexia hit Edo on the head.

"You fool, why should I hide in that man's place, and again why do you work for that pervert, I warn you, never take me to that place, he's as dangerous as Daren."

"You know Mr. Luther, and who is Daren?" Ask.

Lexia exhaled, "later I'll tell you, but the two men we have to avoid, you idiot huh, Luther is a dangerous man why you work with him."

Edo scratched his head that was not itching.

"Because only he would hire me lexia, you think it's easy to find a job in this big city, I don't have a choice." Edo bit off a large piece of his burger and chewed it.

"What's important right now is that we need to get away from that guy, I need to find a place to hide, you got any other ideas?"

Edo thought for a moment, then a glimmer of hope was seen on his face.

"You know, my grandmother lives in Queen's on the outskirts of the borough there it seems safer for you, lexia."

Lexia's face suddenly became gloomy at the words of the grandmother, reminding her of the grandmother Rossie who had left while she was in the mansion without knowing her circumstances.

Edo knew what lexia was thinking, he gave his fries to lexia. "I know what you think of lexia, when it's safe I'll take you to Miss Rossie's funeral."

The call from Mr. Robert made Daren so agitated, he was in his room tapping his finger on the table.

Daren finally got out of the mansion and took his jacket and then took a quick step towards his car, he then went through every place he had ever been to with lexia, then went to the slums where lexia had lived.

The hallways were narrow and dangerous, the shanty houses lined with piles of trash that would be recycled became a regular sight in the place.

Daren gazed from a distance lexia house that stood with weathered wood that became the pillars of his house with a lot of rusty iron piled around his house.

The place was pitch-black, there was no life there at all, daren then decided to leave from there, she scrambled her hair so messy.

Lexia's hard life makes her a rough and stubborn girl, though daren can't lie to her if she needs lexia, no matter what feeling she doesn't understand, but the most important thing now is to find lexia as soon as possible before Mr. Robert finds out the lie.
