Chapter 33 "The Traitor"

Just before Brain entered the Central District, Mooi Haar returned from his revenge mission. The look of satisfaction is illustrated by the look on his face and it makes Brain feel a little calm.

Not answering the question, Zhipheng then informed Vedova that the one who killed Groot Zwaard was Brain.

"At first I didn't believe the boy's words either, but to be honest he was quite tough" Zhipheng said.

"Then who's tougher, me or the boy" Vedova said.

"Of course you are master, there is no one here who is stronger than you sir" Zhipheng said in praise.

Hearing these words Vedova laughed, and asked Zhipheng if he could defeat Brain alone.

"Of course, sir, all the abilities of the boy I already know" said the arrogant Zhipheng.

Brain who witnessed Zhipheng and Vedova's familiarity felt very disappointed and angry, but he still could not believe that Zhipheng was the traitor.

Amidst the unexpected atmosphere, Brain was still trying to question all the truth to Zhipheng, but what Brain had obtained was just a sneer coming out of Zhipheng's mouth.

"Brain is enough, there is still time, go, you will not be able to beat them" said Hendry who was still weak.

"I'm not going to run, I've set my goals when I get this Soul System, they're the ones responsible for Robbert's death, I'm going to get everything done" Brain said.

Seeing and hearing Brain's determination made Hendry could not argue with him again, he just asked Brain to be careful and suggested, if Brain later felt difficulties should he choose to step down.

Standing up with his anger, Brain who was enveloped with killing aura got a rebuke from Simi the System about controlling emotions. It took a while for Brain to digest the reprimand he thought, but in the end Brain returned to the point where he could control his entire soul and body.

Here Brain still uses his Fighter class, as someone with the job of Crusaded Stick Fighting, of course Brain fights using a stick. After losing the Fire Dragon Toya in his fight against the Goblin Verkrachter (Cpt. 16) Brain was given a new staff by Zhipheng as they trained together.

"So it's been up to where you've been using that stick" Zhipheng said.

"Traitors like you should be quiet" Brain said.

Hearing this made Zhipheng look very angry, but he did not get carried away and lost concentration.

"As a teacher, I don't have the heart to kill you, but this is your destiny, you must die in my hands" Zhipheng said.

Putting up the typical horses of a stick fighter, Zhipheng then started his attack. Likewise with Brain, the moment Zhipheng began to attack him, he immediately took action to face all the stick attacks from Zhipheng.

Their fight both look drawn, attack after attack alternately between the two. But it did not last long, because Zhipheng experience using more sticks than Brain.

Feeling depressed, Simi the System advises Brain to combine the Fighter Class with his Mage class, as a result, Brain's wand suddenly emitted a black-colored energy aura and it made Zhipheng's staff slowly turn into stone.

Realizing this, Zhipheng who initially fought using only martial skills, began to use the innate ability of his Stick Fighting job. Where he also coated his staff with magic energy.

Although as someone with the Fighter class, Zhipheng can also use lightning and fire element magic, but the magic he uses is only limited to increasing the ability of his wand.

Zhipheng's movements also became faster, even so Brain who had combined his two classes could compensate for all his attacks.

Vedova who was looking from a distance, began to doubt Zhipheng. Vedova then says if Zhipheng loses then he will kill him. Hearing this made Zhipheng feel he had to take all of his abilities out, yes then took some distance to prepare his technique.

Zhipheng was very surprised to see this, he then thought to take distance again, but it did not have time to do it because Brain quickly immediately used a combo to carry out a series of attacks.
