Chapter 22 "Chairman of the Shield Association"

Towards Himaya, Daria and Nicholas along with 3 others have now almost entered the region. Along the way from the cave of refuge, they did not get any significant obstacles, but the debate between Daria and Nicholas continued to adorn the journey.

There are some things that are the two of them discussing, though, nicholas' accusations of suspecting Brain as a spy are met with strong opposition from Daria and the choice of route where Daria wants to go directly to district 4 and Nicholas who wants to take the route through district 9.

Of all the debates, the two of them only agreed on taking the route, where the route they eventually took was district 9 and their position now was right in front of the big gate of district 9.

As a result of the monster attack that came out of the Dimensional Dungeon Portal earlier, making the condition of District 9 the same as district 4, the two districts are already uninhabited and have become outcast districts that are no longer cared for by the association.

Right after Daria said that, they could not realize that Vedova was behind them and what she did was to attack one of them by gripping his head.

Seeing this the other two members then took a distance and Nicholas swiftly attacked Vedova using his Great Sword.

Seeing that, Daria then took action to attack, using light magic yes trying to blind Vedova's vision.

Realizing the magic that Daria will use, Nicholas and the other 2 people immediately take action to anticipate the impact they will also receive from the magic that Daria uses, but Daria has not had time to use her magic, quickly Vedova moved towards him then shot her right fist

Hearing the question, Daria and Nicholas could not answer it, it was all because they were too busy to attack and defend against the attack that was instigated by Vedova.

Seeing that both of her opponents had not responded, Vedova began to increase the tempo of her movements and that had made Daria's Holy Maiden Warrior disappear. Seeing this, Daria and Nicholas then took a distance back to get away from Vedova.
