Chapter 18 "The Curse of Death"

It appears that 4 men and 2 women were having a discussion, where their discussion was filled with suspicion from each other.

"This is just my estimate, I think there seems to be a traitor in the liberation squad" Hendry said.

"How likely it is" said Nicholas Thorman, one of the leading men in the liberation force. He was someone with a level 60 Cleric class and his job was Guardian.

"The odds are 70 percent" Hendry replied.

"I think the same as you, Hendry" said Randalf Potter, who is also one of the key men on the liberation team. With a level 60 Mage class and a Pyromancer job, he was the only person in the liberation army who had a large-scale destruction attack.

"Then how, what should we do" asked Nicholas.

"I think we better get out of this region first" said Zhipheng who is someone with a Fighter class of level 60 with his job as a Fighting Stick. Zhipheng became the best informant in the liberation forces and yes was Hendry's friend.

"Let's remember, I told you this was just my estimation, so before the traitor leaked all our information, I wanted us to make a quick move to the central district" Hendry said.

"Are you sure about that, Hendry, I think we should just find it safe" Zhipheng said.

"well I'm sure there are only 2 options, go ahead and risk everything or stay hidden with the possibility of a traitor" Hendry said.

"if the choice is like that, I can only support you for the choice you will take" Zhipheng said.

"Hey Zhipheng, I hope you remain the best informant in the liberation army" Nicholas said.

"What do you mean Nicholas" Zhipheng said.

"I mean, all the information you've been giving, is it all" Nicholas said.

"Nicholas, before you accuse everyone here, what makes you so late to gather in District 4" Randalf said.

"Hey new kid, don't make it easy, just say what you want to say" said Nicholas who began to give off his bullying aura.

"I'm just asking, old man" replied Randalf who also let out his bullying aura.

"Stop you guys, there's no point in suspecting each other, rather you think about what Hendry said, whether we go forward or stay hidden" said Daria Lemona who is also an influential figure in the liberation forces. With Cleric class level 58 and Paladin job, it is very respected even though it is a woman.

"Calm down, we don't have much time left, now what do you think of my advice" Hendry said, calming the mood.

Suasan then became silent, seen each of them think of the words of Hendry and soon Zhipheng became the first person to support Henry to attack the central district and then followed Layla, Daria, Randalf and Nicholas also supported Hendry's plans. A few hours later they spent discussing the assault on the central district

"Well Hendry, this is our last gamble, I hope the best of this plan" Randalf said.

"Then when will we move" asked Nicholas.

"Why we move, I'll tell you later, along with the final strategy, to make sure you're always prepared" Hendry said.

With all the plans in place, they decided to move to take over Himaya by attacking the central district.

The cheer that is usually seen in the cave where Jerome's group is located disappears with the news of Sheila's death. It had already been 3 days and a state of grief still enveloped the place.

"Is Brain not out of his tent yet" asked Jorge who was sitting at the dining table outside the tent.

"It's been 3 days that he didn't come out" Jerome said.

Not long after the conversation between the two of them, Brain then walked out of his tent. Seeing that, Jerome then called him to sit down to join him.

"Are you okay" asked Jerome.

"Well I'm fine, I used too much magic power when fighting against monsters before" Brain said, hiding his sadness.

"I'm sorry you're okay, then what are you going to do now" asked Jerome again.

"I want to go out first, maybe do a little check around this place" replied Brain.

Walking through the Pinusi forest, Brain did not find an existence that could threaten him. Now he was in front of the cave where he had previously fought against the Goblin Verkrachter. Entering the cave again, Brain intends to make a tomb for Sheila in the cave.

"I'm sorry for not being able to keep my promise" Brain said to himself.

Here Brain has finished making a grave sign for Sheila and not long ago he felt the existence of 2 monsters in the cave.

Realizing that, Brain then entered the cave even deeper and sure enough, 2 monsters were seen inside there.

Knowing the information mosnter, Brain without waiting for the cue immediately finished off the two monsters.

"Why does everyone close to me end up dying" Brain said.

(Answering. It is the destiny of the creator, all who live will surely die)

"Hey Simi, do you believe in a creator"

(Answering. Creator must exist. The creator is single. Creator is unpredictable)

"That's it, then, can you analyze the structure of this cave"

Not long after Brain asked that question, the green round radar could see in front of his eyes and on the radar, Brain saw something yellow.

"Hey Simi, what does this big dot of yellow mean, is it the existence of monsters"

(Answering. The existence of monsters was no longer detected. The yellow sign is likely an Energy stone)

Hearing that information, Brain then headed to the place and after arriving there he saw a crystal stone that is quite a lot where the stones have different colors.

"Do these stones have a function"

(Answering. The energy contained within the crystal stone contained magic power. Functions possible)

"Then I'll take some"

After saying this, Brain immediately worked on taking some of the crystal stones that were there, the crystal stones were red, yellow, green, blue, blue, white and some have mixed colors.

After collecting the crystal stones, Brain was made confused to carry them.

"Hey Simi, can you do something with these stones"

(Answering. You now have Portal storage capabilities)

"What do you mean by that"

(Answering. It was an ability that you gained after defeating a monster earlier. You can keep everything you want in that capacity)

After knowing the information, Brain was then taught how to use the ability and after knowing that the ability has tremendous benefits, Brain immediately practiced the new ability.

On the other side of the cave where Jerome was located, a group of people were walking to the place. Seeing that Bruno, who was in charge of watching the entrance of the cave, was made a little surprised and quickly he told it to Jerome.

"Hopefully this isn't a problem, tell the kids and the others, they should be prepared for the worst possible outcome" Jerome said.

After Jerome gave the order, Jerome and Bruno then went towards the entrance of the cave.
