The Children Of Thalia

The Children Of Thalia
Swordsman

Kuro Fuyuki had such a slender body, it might even be on par with Felice who was the thinnest member in the Wild Dogs. The fact that he is tall enough gives a tall impression to others who see him. Although similar to Rolfe and Ansel, her face appears round with a smooth jawline towards her chin, making her face appear babyface. Also, despite being so lean, she has strong muscles in her legs and arms.

He is the fastest member. In the running test in sports lessons, he recorded four seconds in a 50-meter run, and a total of seven seconds in a 100-meter run. Even in the endurance test, he could maintain a constant speed of around fifty kilometers per hour for thirty minutes. Plus he has a reflex that allows him to catch an arrow that is glued to him.

Kuro Fuyuki, in terms of overall potential, was three levels below Ansel, who was the strongest student in his class. Ansel immediately gave a recommendation to the construction teacher once he found out that Fuyuki was providing registration to become a member of the security division. And thus, Fuyuki became one of the early members of the Wild Dogs.

Also, due to that great potential, Ansel never doubted Fuyuki in the execution of the mission. He often gave Fuyuki his own missions without a doubt, because he knew Fuyuki could complete them.

In the torrent of rainstorms, Fuyuki's running speed did not decrease in the least. His visibility was limited, but he had a reflex that allowed him to dodge any trees or rocks that were blocking him. His eyes glanced slightly to the side, the tall gate of the parlour was already visible. He slightly turned, taking a detour to the back side of the building.

Without lowering his speed, Fuyuki took out a micro-limited radio from behind his raincoat. After being plugged in his ears, he stopped running for a moment.

"Fuyuki's in, I'm in position." He said without gasping for a bit even though he had run quite far.

He was already on the back wall. Although covered in high walls, the roof of the mansion that was once a luxurious mansion could still be seen. That's what guides him when he runs. There was no gate or any door on the back wall, but it was no problem. He could climb the wall easily. The real problem is to make an ambush on an enemy who may already be waiting behind a wall. That's why he needs a little help.

"Klaus, are you there?" fuyuki asked while sticking his finger on the radio. The answer came a second later.

"In position, opposite to you. Achard is here."

When looking at the beam of light across, Fuyuki knew that her partner was already in place.

"Felice, how's the situation?"

Another voice answered the question. "hasn't changed. Two guards at the back door. Their weapons are automatic machine guns. Risky if attacked directly. Fortunately, there's a small door on Claus' side that we can use."

Fuyuki frowned after hearing that information. "Why didn't you say that?"

The answer received was very simple, but it made Fuyuki quite calm.

"I'm sorry......"

The young man was not angry, only commenting. He knows Felice's situation. Although useful for long-distance reconnaissance, the gift girl had a great disadvantage in the rainy conditions like now.

"No, I'm sorry. I forgot how you are." After apologizing, Fuyuki went back to talking about the plan. "Claus, there's a door there. You go in using your abilities, distract them. I'll ambush from this side. Felice, please let me know when the enemy's attention is completely diverted."

"Understand!"

"All right."

They didn't question anything about the plan, especially about how a Kuro Fuyuki ambushed through a four-meter-high wall? It was because they knew Fuyuki could do it.

He took off the thick raincoat he was wearing. For him, doing an ambush using a raincoat will only reduce mobility, which is why he is still better wet with rain. Her long hair was black with a blue accent. He tied the hair with a rubber band on his wrist so as not to block the view. Only then did he pull out the empty sword hilt from behind his school blazer. He bit the handle tightly, then posed like a sprinter waiting for the whistle to ring, just not the whistle he was waiting for.

Ten seconds he took the situation into account. The sound of a strong metallic clashing suddenly sounded from the opposite side. The guards' attention was distracted. Weapons are directed to the sound source. They walked over to him, away from Fuyuki's side. The concentration of the young man reached a peak when a cry sounded.

"Now, Fuyuki!!"

The young man opened his eyes, took a breath and held it before taking an initial leap to then sprint. His left foot was treading right on the rock near the wall. He made another leap, resting on his right foot as if stepping vertically on a wet wall. Both of his hands were stretched out upwards, grabbing the edge of the high wall. He nimbly lifted his body across the wall, then fell rolling over the denser wet ground. The two guards there turned around hearing Fuyuki's voice landing behind them. The young man grabbed the sword hilt in his mouth quickly before the two guards were ready to aim.

"Hi sword........"

The black balls floated around Fuyuki's arm. It came close to each other, then united to form a black rose that bloomed perfectly at the end of the hilt. From the crown of the flower, a pitch-black blade extended to form a sword with a perfect arch.

There was one other advantage that made Fuyuki unique in the squad. Although her body was slender, she was a proficient sword user, the only one in Wild Dogs.

He swung the pitch-black sword slashing at the two guards in front. No blood or any scrap. However, the two guards suddenly collapsed losing consciousness. Work done. The black blade slowly evaporated and disappeared as if it was dissolved by rain.

It was his gift. A gift that reflects his name, a gift that gives meaning to his talent. A gift he named «Devourer». The Gift that made Kuro Fuyuki could form any sword blade, in any size, in any shape of mysterious black matter. The sword could not only cut through mortal things, but also abstract concepts such as sight, sense of touch, even consciousness without the need to cut off the physical form of the opponent. With Fuyuki's sword ability, agility, and speed, the gift became a terrifying ability.

"Great work!"

A slightly fat young man and a tall, brown-haired girl entered the area of the parlour from a small door that was dented due to a strong impact from outside. Fuyuki smiled faintly looking at them.

"Just like you, Klaus."

The girl, Esvele Achard-or Ansel calls her V-staring at the wall that Kuro has just climbed, then cringing to her own horror.

"In the rain, climbing, jumping from a height. Are your legs okay?"

"Maybe I was born different." The young man replied calmly. He contacted Felice again after successfully performing his first task. "Felice, how's the situation inside?"

But the answer that came was not good.

"Wire....... FUYUKI, QUICKLY GO UPSTAIRS, THE MIDDLE-AN ENEMY"

Not having time for Felice to finish his words, the loud explosion of a large-caliber weapon left them gasping. Everyone looked up, looking up at the top floor where the voice came from. Moving quickly, Fuyuki again raised her sword, then slashed through the iron door a few pieces until the back entrance opened.

"WE TAKE CARE OF IT HERE, QUICKLY GO TO THE SECOND FLOOR!!!!!!!!!" Quiet Fuyuki panicked.

"GOOD!!!!!!"
