Cleaning Operations - 1

Kuro's PoV

"Well, can everyone hear?"

"Voice in."

"Lake in."

"Listen, Chief."

"good. We're down in two minutes. As per the previous meeting, Intel made sure the hyena was on the second floor, the room in the right corner with tight guard. Tetha-1, secure the basement, enter from the wooden door in the back. Tetha-2, down from above, enters through a window on the left wing. Secure the third floor. Tetha-3, break down the front door. We're besieging the enemy on the second floor. Make sure the place is clear of traps for further investigation. Understood?"

"Ready, understood."

"understand."

"Understood."

"I understand."

"..... Execute."

The young man closed his eyes. His body shook from the uneven road, but he did not lose focus. The sounds, the light, the feelings, all died for a moment. Silent, dark, he felt nothing. The focus is on one point. The point that had made him strong all along.

Two minutes later, the car stopped moving. Two people in front checked the equipment. Smoke bomb, shock grenade, a hand grenade for guard, a special pistol with an instant anesthetic bullet, a knife for self-defense, ammunition, as well as special supporting equipment each gift.

Even for that young man - someone who held a sword all his life, knowing that this mission needed a gun and not just a sharp weapon. He cocked the gun, checked four magazine slots full of bullets designed by Helder and the Security Division, and checked the sharpness of knives hidden in the arms, thighs, and knees, also wiping a bit of the hilt of the deep red-colored sword he kept with the other sword at his waist. He then put on a helmet, checked if the vest was attached, then closed his eyes.

Silent, calm, the voices in his mind disappeared for a moment. He is united with the environment, his breath is aligned with the breeze, his body does not budge even though the car they ride drove on a rocky path. For a moment his mind was blank, focused, filled with only one face; the target he saw in the intel photo during the meeting this morning.

The car engine stopped shaking, all prepared, all breathing. Not the time to be nervous, but there's no way no one is nervous. Their mission is now a dangerous one, level with previous U-1 and U-2 pursuits, but emphasizing aggression rather than investigation. Part of the investigation was done before, now it's part of the ambush.

Kuro Fuyuki, the young man who had always put on that calm face, clasped tightly onto the hilt of his sword after opening his eyes again. She's nervous. Very plainly. But he also tried to stay professional.

"Alright, everybody. I repeat once again. Our target, the Hyena, is on the second floor, the corner on the right wing. Complete guard. You have permission to use weapons or gifts. No civilians, you're allowed to shoot every target in sight."

Kuro opened his eyes, regulated breathing, took a deep breath, then answered briefly.

"understand."

The van door opened. One by one the personnel jumped down and ran towards the house. Kuro sat at the very end, near the chauffeur's bulkhead, so he got off last. Alert for the gun in his arm, Kuro then jumped down, running after his comrades who had already stepped around the apartment.

He's part of Tetha-1, the basement safety squad. In total were four people, three of whom were Wild Dogs. The young man who walked with wide strides in front of Kuro was Andrea Eugen Grisbaum, or more often called Magz, the young man with a fire tattoo on his face. In front of him again was a girl, a package with Magz, but had the opposite power. Mei Kinsella the Snow Butterfly. The three of them are often deployed for intelligence missions because they have advantages in the field of agility and silence.

Led by an upperclassman from Merlins' squad, "The Sentient" Noe, Tetha-1 walks quickly and quietly around a small apartment that stands on a one-acre plot of land. Very broad, too broad. The location of this apartment is not far from the city center. The infiltration of vehicles is also difficult, the apartment has been rented for more than six months, the entire building including the basement. However, Kuro and the others were not called experts of intelligence work for no reason.

"Patrol approaching. Tetha-1, settle two in the west. Tetha-3 will clean up in the south." Gianni, commander and captain of the Tetha-3 squad, said.

"Understand, commander. Kuro, clear the location immediately."

Kuro immediately accelerated his pace. The red sword hanger from the hanger on his waist. Hiding himself behind a wall, turned his back on one man who was on patrol. He bit the handle of the sword in the jaw. He closed his eyes again, focusing on hearing. The sound of vehicles, the rustling of grass sounds, the chirping of birds in the trees, to the squeaking of shoes when stepping can he hear. The sound of the step was getting closer, getting closer, until one sound felt right behind it. Then the voice moved away again.

Kura opened his eyes. That was his chance. He ran forward, turned around, took a swing, ran again to the wall, then jumped up high. Both hands grabbed the end of the two-and-a-half-meter-high fence wall, then easily lifted the slender body up, passed through the fence easily, then landed silently. He grabbed another red sword hilt in his mouth, pulled it aside with a black blade coming out from the wisp of black material that formed a rose at the base of the sword.

The patrol man seemed to be conscious. He turned. In his hands was a firearm, but Kuro did not panic in the slightest. When the man took a breath while raising a weapon, Kuro swung his sword. When the sword passed by the man, he immediately acted like a puppet breaking its rope. He fell down, slumped over the grassy ground. As usual, Kuro made them lose consciousness.

"Patrol is paralyzed." Said Kuro while pressing the mini radio in his ear.

"good job. Now we're moving back." Reply Noe. When Kuro looked back, three people entered sneaking around. He followed from behind. He kept the hilt of his red sword, then took out a gun.

They rotate, separate from the other two teams. Kuro calculated the steps, estimating the area of the building. He's lyric around. Although it was still daytime, but the atmosphere of the apartment was so quiet. It really feels like the home of criminals.

The back of the apartment is covered in high walls, higher than the front wall. Also supported are rows of dense evergreen trees that make it harder for outsiders to peek inside. Naturally, there is a small swimming pool, although it is closed because lately it often rains. Next to the pool is the path the Alpha-1 team is on. A thick wooden door with a large chain and padlock, directly connected to the basement.

"Surprise panic, May." Tell Noe after they surround the door.

"understandable. Magz, unlock it."

"I know."

Magz took off his gloves. White-thin hands are visible with clearly protruding veins. He gripped the chain wrapped around the wooden door lock slot. Before long, his hands glowed blue, getting brighter like incandescent, also feeling hot. Within three seconds, the chain melted, dropping a thick padlock onto the ground. Quickly he retracted his hand before burning the door, replaced by Kuro firmly gripping the doorknob.

"Ready?" kuro asked, Mei nodded as she pulled out her shock grenade pin.

Wooden door pulled, wide open. The dark basement greeted them. Dirty wooden stairs and a passageway full of spider webs became what they saw. It's not really a problem. Mei immediately threw the stun grenade inside, and they turned around.

A bright beam of light briefly illuminated the dark underground room, along with the sound of a loud explosion that echoed, accompanying the screams of humans who were shocked at having to be momentarily blind.

Noe went in with a gun, followed by Magz, Mei, and Kuro. The hallway wasn't too long. After stepping on the floor, Noe opened fire. Four people roared, grimacing from an impromptu shock grenade. Their pain is over. Noe and Mags got two, Kuro and Mei got one each. All shot to the neck, making them sleep instantly.

The basement itself has three other doors, connected to a different room. Noe, Magz, and Mei checked one by one, while Kuro secured the path to the top. Noe didn't open fire. His room was an empty warehouse with a myriad of broken equipment. Mei also did not have the space she opened with a table in the middle, perhaps a meeting place. However, Magz opened a bedroom, with two people lying there. Darting bullets from the muzzle of the gun, making the two targets groan for a while before again losing consciousness. They won't wake up until the next morning.

"Basement is safe." Report Noe on the universal channel, followed by reports from other teams.

"It's safe."

"Floor one is safe."

"Alright, everything is moving straight towards the main point. Stay quiet, it's a surprise operation."

"Understand, Commander."

"Come it, Commander."

And they moved, slipping towards the second floor.
