The Chased Heaven

The Chased Heaven
Zulfa And Salsa

"Mas Joseph..!!" the sound of shouting along with lightning that sounded extremely loud made people reflexively close their ears.

Zulfa fumbled around to look for a cell phone but she did not find it, sweat had soaked her forehead, she felt the wall to help her walk so as not to bump into things.

The house was dark, not a single lamp was lit. All the lights went out to meet the thunderous lightning earlier. He quickly opened the window curtains of his room to get the light even dimly. Zulfa gazed out at the house so dark, the street lights were dead plus the rain flushed tonight creating panic.

She realized then looking for her phone to contact her husband to come here, honestly Zulfa now really afraid let alone no lighting here and she was home alone.

On the one hand, Joseph put on his raincoat in a hurry to worry about Zulfa being alone at home. Salsa who saw Joseph out of the house approached him with a flashlight "Where are the rich gini nights?".

"Home, Zulfa's alone in there".

"I'm also alone, especially when the electricity is off. I'm afraid it's not just Zulfa".

"Ahh" Yusuf yelled out in frustration "You lock the door and follow me" he told Salsa.

Joseph started his motorbike and waited for Salsa to get out of the house. After the house had been locked all, Salsa ran towards the motor that had been used in front of the house. He broke through the rain to approach Joseph and put on a raincoat.

"Hold my belly Sal"

Salsa nodded then hugged Joseph from behind, she clutched her husband's body tightly hoping for an instant to stop. He wanted to spend time together like this without having to be various again.

Zulfa looked out of the house expectantly, she had not yet moved from her room in fear, she just resigned herself and waited for her husband to come. Just a little flashlight made Zulfa feel calm. Then a few seconds later he smiled happily when the motorbike he knew stopped in front of his house.

But the smile faded as Joseph was with the woman whom Zulfa felt was his second wife. Zulfa quickly got up from his seat and went down to open the door.

"Mas Joseph" hugged Zulfa after opening the door for the two of them. Joseph rubbed his wife's shoulders and held Zulfa's hand to sit on the living room couch. The house looked dark without any illumination, Salsa who was ignored by Joseph clenched her hands in anger.

She felt jealous and envious when Zulfa was treated sweetly by her husband while she was invited to enter not let alone be held as before, Salsa honestly hated that woman.

"You're okay, right?" joseph asked worriedly.

"Yes, Zulfa is fine".

"House no candles?"

"I don't think so" Zulfa answered honestly and glanced at Salsa at a glance. Seen there the look of a dislike face from her, Zulfa wondered if she was angry when she was alone with her husband. Ah maybe later I should apologize to her, Zulfa thought.

"If I go buy candles first, then you're hungry for food".

"No need to be out of the rain" prevent Zulfa.

"It's okay Fa, you're here".

"Mas I'm coming" said Salsa, who stood up.

"You're at home aja temenin Zulfa, pity he's alone at home when dark rich gini".

"Zulfa is not a child, he can take care of himself".

"Sal please" asked Joseph and Salsa to give up on her husband's request. Joseph bought a candle and left his wives.

Sepi without chatter, they are both silenced in the dark make the atmosphere increasingly gripping only the cellphone lights that make a little better. Zulfa thought in silence, she arranged the words to get acquainted with Salsa her husband's second wife. Zulfa also thought she should call Salsa a brother or not because she was older than him even though she was Joseph's second wife.

"Lo happy to see I'm not deket same husband lo it".

"Huh?" zulfa replied in shock.

"Ah about that, I'm sorry brother I didn't know that today the lights went out".

Salsa massaged her forehead then looked at Zulfa "Gue dizzy, I am a rich wrecker of people's relationships but I am not a hypocrite. If I can be honest I also like Yusuf since the first time I met so if you are alone I show you a true nature lo".

Zulfa's heart ached at the instant of Salsa's confession, she did not expect Salsa to like her husband either. It turned out that the sense of not sincerely dividing the husband was like this, painful. Zulfa only played her robe to endure the pain she was experiencing.

"Fa" called Salsa who made Zulfa look at the woman.

"Gue ask you a favor, let me stay here. I don't feel very good with my in-laws, very repotin if I continue to ride there".

Zulfa nodded and smiled, "Yes, sister, Zulfa, let brother Salsa stay here anyway, this is Salsa's house too".

Stop Fa, stop that stupid smile of yours. Tell me if you don't agree if Salsa lives here, Zulfa's mind goes against his heart.

"It's good that you understand your position" said Salsa and played her phone, behind which she smiled happily because she could be closer to Joseph. And after that there was no conversation between them, Zulfa and Salsa were both silent and busy with their respective phones until they were unaware of Joseph's arrival there.

"You don't fight, do you?" yusuf said suddenly, which made Zulfa and Salsa shocked.

"Mas Yusuf surprised me, astagfirullah my heart".

"Partially you two just be quiet, I thought you were marahan".

"No mas, I'm the same Zulfa not marahan let alone jambak-jambukan. ya Fa" said Salsa to Zulfa and answered a nod by Zulfa.

The three of them spent the night telling stories and introducing themselves, sometimes Salsa made jokes to warm up the atmosphere besides they also spent the food race and ended up with Yusuf out as the champion.

The wall clock shows at 12 pm, it does not feel so late and the electricity has not been turned on. Joseph glanced to his right as Salsa's head rested upon his shoulders, his stables asleep either sleepy or full.

"Don't be jealous" said Joseph holding Zulfa's hand and kissing the hand gently to appease his wife.

"It's good to have a wife of two".

"Yes" replied Joseph of origin and got a look of disbelief from Zulfa.

"I was just kidding Fa, honestly I was tormented when you pretended to be happy in front of me. It's better for you to cry than to show that strong-witted smile, it hurts me more than your cry".

"Mas." said Zulfa, who was leaning on Joseph's shoulder. "All this is God's destiny, I as his servant just resigned and patiently accept every destiny he wrote".

"You're too good Fa, I'm grateful to have your rich wife".

"Thank you" said Zulfa, then got up, he looked at Salsa and told Joseph to hold her and move her to the living room.

"Mas I went up first, you slept with Salsa. Today you spent time with him".

Joseph shook his head, he took the blanket in the living room closet. Then hugged his wife from behind which made Zulfa shocked. Joseph pushed the tiny body into the living room.

"From my company to the Fa, before I wake up tomorrow and accept this reality".

"I think I should be the one to say rich".

Joseph kept silent he pulled his wife to sleep on the living room sofa, a long sofa with a wide size that could contain the bodies of Joseph and Zulfa. The two of them hugged each other, shared stories about their stories, clenched together as if they were going to be far apart. The night was so late that the two people fell asleep to meet the dream world, the burning candle melted more and more because it was burning. To be silent witnesses to both of their plight stories.
