A woman was compressing a two-year-old boy, Siska painstakingly changed a small wet towel that was then placed on her son's forehead.
"Nao, get well quickly, son, Mama will take a walk" said Siska while stroking her son's hair gently closed.
"Where's Mba? is the heat down?" asked a middle-aged woman, who was none other than Naoki's nanny. Siska just shook her head.
There was guilt clearly on the face of the widow of one child, Siska had to work day and night to meet the needs of her life with her only child. There was hardly any time for Siska to be with Naoki.
"I'm sorry dear Mama," said Siska, her tears just escaped.
Siska's fate is not as beautiful as the level she has, being a widow at a young age. God really galvanizes Siska into a tough woman.
"Mba Siska do not be sad, Mba has tried her hardest to make Naoki happy" said Sari while stroking Siska's back.
"Thank you Miss Sari." said Siska.
"We should just take Naoki to the hospital" said Sari, looking at Naoki's trembling body, causing her to panic.
Without speaking, Siska immediately picked up the bag, then carried Naoki in her arms. Sari immediately called their neighbors who worked as motorcycle taxi drivers.
"We're going to the hospital, sir!"
"Yes Mba," said the taxi driver, while turning on his motorbike.
"Bu Sari, take home," said Siska.
"Yes Mba Siska doesn't have to worry."
The matic motorcycle they were riding was speeding away. Siska continued to hold Naoki, the little boy's body trembling with his eyes closed.
O God save my son, give him healing, Siska prayer in the heart.
Siska's tears continued to break, prayers unceasingly uttered in her heart. Siska realized he was not a good person, his job could be said not a good job. But where else did Siska ask for help other than the Creator.
The motorbike arrived in front of the hospital. After giving wages to his ojek Siska immediately ran while carrying Naoki to the ER room.
"Doctor help my son, Doc" asked Siska to a Doctor Nyang for the first time.
"Please lay it down here, "the doctor said.
Siska laid Naoki's small body on top of the gurney.
"As Mother sits down first, let me examine the patient's condition" the doctor explained.
With a heavy heart Siska took a few steps back, giving room for the doctor to work. Two nurses check on Naoki, the curtain around the gurney on the lid making Siska unable to see what they are doing.
"Sorry, are you the guardian of a recently arrived patient?" ask a female nurse kindly.
"Yes, Sister," replied Siska stammering.
"Let's come with me to complete the patient administration" the nurse asked.
Siska nodded and followed the footsteps of the sisters in front of her. After completing the administrative data, Siska again sat down near where Naoki was at the check.
As Siska continued to pray in her heart, her tears did not stop flowing even though she tried to hold him back.
The doctor emerged from behind the curtains covering the gurney, Siska immediately got up from her seat.
"How's my son doing, Doc?" ask Siska to panic.
"We wait for the lab results in 10 minutes, ma'am" said the doctor trying to explain.
After 10 minutes the doctor called Siska closer, Siska nodded and stepped closer to the Doctor.
"Thank you, Doc" Siska said, sitting in a plastic chair.
"Just right away, Mom, the mother's child has dengue fever, and the condition is quite bad, the platelets are far below normal, the doctor explained.
Like lightning striking directly into his heart, Siska's body suffocated. Siska covered her face, her tears flowing profusely.
"Dok, please heal my son," Siska said.
"We will try to give our best, never give up hope and continue to pray" said the doctor.
Siska only nodded small, her tears continuously flowing. Siska felt like she was the worst mother in the world, she couldn't take good care of her child.
"Let's Mom, we'll move the patient to the inpatient room," the Doctor asked.then got up from his seat and started walking towards the gurney where Naoki was lying.
"Well," answered Siska lethargic, and walked tailing behind the Doctor.
Slowly Siska flicked the curtain of green cloth that became a barrier.
Siska's heart was so sick that she saw Naoki's small body lying weak, with breathing aids and infusions attached to her tiny body. His tears fell again, his hands outstretched gently stroking the son's hair just like that.
The nurses started pushing the gurney slowly, Siska walking beside her. The vaults continued to be pushed through the aisle of the hospital hallway, until the end they turned into a light blue room equipped with some toys for children.
Arriving at a room, Naoki's small body is transferred to the gurney in the room.
"Sigh down!" squealing a nurse.
Some nurses and doctors in the nursery immediately entered and took action, Siska took several steps back to make room for the medics to take action on her son.
"Naoki, strong boy, Naoki certainly can," said Siska with tears in his eyes. Siska's body fell on the floor.
Siska incessantly offered a prayer in her heart. With Siska's eyes staring at the small body lying among the crowd of people dressed in white, Siska's heart was crushed to see Naoki's small body with various tools installed on his body.
"Mom," said a female nurse, breaking Siska's daydream.
"I -iya," answered Siska stammered.
"The patient is breathing again, but you have to move him to the ICU" the nurse said.
"Do the best for my son, please save my son" Siska said.
"We will do our best" the treatment said while helping Siska stand up.
Siska walked back to the nurses who pushed the gurney into the ICU room.
"Sorry Mom, I can only see from the glass window."
"But Sister, I want to see my son."
"Sorry, this has become the rule, trust us all, please don't stop praying" she said before returning to the room.
Siska lunglai's body, he sat on a bench lined up long in front of the ICU room. His body trembled again, Siska covered her face with both hands.
My God I'm a bad mother, I've never been happy with Naoki.
Siska was shocked when she felt the hand touching her shoulder.
"What are you doing here?"
Siska did not reply, Siska sprang to her arms around the waist of the man standing in front, Siska's cries breaking again.
